Both looked sheepish.
 

“That’s what I thought.”

Evan glanced at Drake. “Quarter mil says Julian is shackled by the end of the year.”

“Level 69 is
his
baby.” Drake shook his head. “I’ll accept that bet.”

“I can’t believe I’m dating men who can throw away that kind of money.”
 

“You’re
marrying
men who can throw away that kind of money,” Drake corrected with a growl.
 

“So you keep saying.” Vania jumped from the bed and eyed the lap pool. It’d been calling her since the moment she arrived. She opened the sliding doors and welcomed the familiar, balmy sea breeze. “Maybe we
should
discuss this marriage thing in greater detail tonight,” she said, crooking her finger, “while in the pool…naked.”

Evan and Drake lunged.

She slipped from the doors and ran unabashedly naked to the water.
 

“Hey!”

“Wait for us!”

Vania laughed as she took the plunge.
