He’d never straddled the line between pleasure and pain so
closely. He was rock hard, throbbing with the promise of release. The thin
sheath of skin over his shaft had never been stretched so tight. All Caleb could
think about was getting Lucy on the bed, spreading those smooth legs open and
pouring himself into her.

Lucy responded as if she could feel his temperature rise. She
gasped for air and crushed her hips to his, her supple lips parting in a moan.
Caleb could feel her desire through her gown. She was drenched in heat,
radiating through their clothes. If things got any hotter, the woman was liable
to scorch the clothes off his body.

Mine
.

As they finished the loop of the Y, Caleb caught the end of the
Draco Spear and tossed it aside. He knelt, and grabbed the hem of her dress.
Then, in a swift move, he stood, taking the gown with him. Lucy’s arms flew over
her head and a laugh bubbled out of her as Caleb slipped the dress over her
chest, her head, her arms. He flung it aside and pulled her against him.

“Shame on you,” he said, smudging kisses down her neck. Her
skin was flawless, smooth like porcelain, and flushing hot beneath his lips. His
own chest hummed with warmth, just beneath the etching of Lucy’s name. “Didn’t
expect you to be nude beneath your ceremonial gown.”

She leaned back, moaning as his mouth covered her breast. “I
had to top the black panties, didn’t I?”

“Mmm.” He groaned as his hand slipped between her legs and
found her blissfully wet. “You topped it, all right.”

His fingers spread her tender flesh and swept through her
slickness. When he sucked his fingers into his mouth, savoring the juicy-sweet
taste of her, Lucy took a ragged breath. She grabbed Caleb by the shoulders and
spun him onto the bed.

Surprise forced the air from his lungs as he landed on his
back, shoulder deep in fur. “Just when I think I’ve got you figured out, you go
and do something like this.”

He tore through the button of his pants and shoved them off as
Lucy stood over him, a playful grin pulling at the corners of her kiss-swollen
mouth. He’d have fantasies of this night for years to come, Caleb was sure of
it. He’d never been this aroused. He’d never had the sensation that he’d tear
through his own skin to get at her, if he had to. He wanted to ravish her. Leave
her senseless, breathless, and melted over him. Yet, at the same time, he wanted
to hold her. Nuzzle her into the crook of his arm and doze off to the
pitter-patter of her heartbeat.

“You may think you’ve got me figured out, Mr. Rycroft―” Lucy
straddled his lap and leaned over him, dangling her perfectly plump breasts in
his face “―but I’m not the same girl I was when you left three years ago.”

Caleb clenched his teeth and sucked in a shallow breath,
waiting with trembling legs for Lucy to descend, and meet him lap to lap.
Teasingly slow, Lucy sank over him, drenching him in her heat. Caleb reared up
as fiery, lust-driven sensations slammed into him like a sledgehammer. She
rolled her hips over him again. And again.

She smiled deviously—a woman in complete control over her man.
“There’s even more to me than you’ve had a chance to learn the last two
days.”

He gripped her hips and guided her into a rolling rhythm,
satiating the hunger roaring inside him. “If this is the way you reveal yourself
to me, we can have revelations all night long.”

Lucy moaned, arching back, as his pleasure rose. He could feel
her climax, just out of reach, throbbing softly around his cock. What a sight
Lucy was—golden hair falling in front of her face, milky-smooth skin, breasts
pumping in time with his thrusts, the smooth span of her stomach leading to a
juncture between her legs that was sweeter than honey.

As if she knew exactly what his body craved, Lucy fed Caleb’s
hunger and sped her pace, rocking her hips faster and faster. She milked him.
Squeezed her inner muscles into an erotic embrace and took all of him in. She
pounded her hips over his. Harder. With scorching-hot abandon.

Grinding his back teeth to dust, unable to hold back a single
second longer, Caleb lost it, seizing into the hardest orgasm of his life. His
entire body arrested, muscle to bone. He clutched at her hips, kneading his
fingers into her backside as he released every last pulse of seed into her
warmth. She toppled over the edge with him, crying out as her core clenched
around him, harder and harder.

As Lucy collapsed over the top of him, Caleb wrapped his arms
around her back and breathed in the natural fragrance in her hair. He’d already
committed her scent to memory and could sense her anywhere. He could see the
delicate angles of her face with his eyes closed. As if her face was etched on
the backside of his eyelids.

Lucy was his. Now that they’d claimed each other, they’d never
be apart.

When she tried to roll off him, he pressed her closer, snaking
an arm over her shoulder.

“No. Don’t go.” He clutched her tightly against him. Maybe if
she stayed like this long enough they’d
really
mold
into one. “Stay.”

“I’m not going anywhere.” She relaxed with a sigh, going
languid in his arms. “Not unless you’re going, too.”

Lucy’s heartbeat echoed through Caleb’s chest as if it were his
own.

“You better believe I’m not going anywhere without you.” Caleb
stroked Lucy’s silky tresses until she looked up and gazed into his eyes,
melting his heart. The soul-shattering spark from one touch of her hand and one
kiss of her lips proved to Caleb that he couldn’t live without her.

Lucy was all he needed. She was his world and everything in
it.

“There’s nowhere I’d rather be,” she said, and kissed him with
more tenderness than his heart could handle.

He couldn’t have said it better.
