Cameron swallowed, as he realized he had spoken aloud. "If I were to ask you to stay with me, you'd lose your family."
Tem-aki looked from him to the shimmering shield, which looked like a dark wind-bow in the moonlight. "How can you believe that, after all we've been through?" Tem-aki took his face in her hands "I think Nimri is right about anything being possible, if we just believe." She tightened her grip on his hands. "I believe that if I choose to stay with you, you are added to my family and I will gain, not lose."
Cameron wrapped her in him arms and kissed her, as he looked forward to an amazing future.
