Jimi & the Galactic Empire

1

    I was born
in the year 35 billion 69, a year at the brink of the end of the universe. For too long, spacetime has expanded, and now threatens to rip apart, thus leading to the inevitable destruction of all creation and creature.

    We, creation,
however are not to be acquitted of crime, for in our search for immortality and power, accelerated nature’s doom. Chiefly, the two warring tribes and their lords: the transvestite king Shu’ rHall Karon and his incestuous queen mother, the Celestial Maharani, versus the Cybernetic Priest, he who claims himself God of all.

    For more than a
billion years, scientists and great minds of both clans camped at the
Gate
, a turbulent zone, which is an ever consuming and never stable element outside the borders of the observable universe, expanding farther, to the realms beyond. In blind faith and religious fervour, the intellectuals and their lesser subjects cling and grope to this belief…
that
that which lies on the other side is Divine.

But
no success have been achieved in penetrating this cosmic ring of fire, or any trans-dimensional teleportation tactics been of any use. Many lives have been sacrificed for this frenzied cause, especially now, when time is a ticking bomb.

Nonetheless, our story, veiled
, for the present, from Shu’ rHall Karon and the Cybernetic Priest; the key lies in a laboratory in a semi-abandoned moon in the outskirts of Andromeda, a moon teeming with lowlifes, dysfunctional anthropoids and scrap-metal-rejects of the great evolutionary plan.

    Here resides one, referred
by the inhabitants only as Leper, a fugitive genius unknown who once served, but as a double-crossing agent, for both lords whilst secretly plotting to usurp and conjugate the two thrones to a single high august chair;
his
. He was exposed and sentenced to death. But Leper escaped; not before he was tortured with radiation that so transmogrified it corrupted his flesh to the point maggots dripped and crawled from his hands and face.

    Here in his filthy
, ill-equipped lab, Leper discovered the answer to transcendence: the manipulation of music. But one tiny problem prevails. Music is extinct. Somehow, in the technological progress and prowess of creation’s logic and illogic, the sound of music was muddled, and is now lost. One can even say that it was thrown into the trash.

So, consumed with the desire for re
venge to overthrow the monarchies of Karon and Priest, and subsequently attain
Divinehood
, Leper hits the archives of galactic histories to search the time and place wherein this music thrived. One planet and period stood out: Earth; the mid-twentieth till the beginning of the twenty-first century.

Here he found the awakening to reconcile the mortal to the divine was almost realized by the legend of Jimi Hendrix, but probably
, due the infanthood of audio tech in that sphere and the excessive substances he took to paint his head, Jimi missed the mark.

    Inspired,
Leper invented a tesseract, a nanochip cloning Jimi’s soul, and summoned four dormant spirits from the dimensional
Gate
. He fused the ghosts to the chip, and I was made –
part something, and part something else
; and to quench his obsessive streak to rule the Galactic Empire and set up throne in heaven, I was sent back in time to accomplish the task of which Hendrix had failed.
