Chapter Five

Lance pulled Samantha along the halls backstage impatiently. Everywhere he looked, there were people. He had to get her alone.

“Let’s find the limo and go back to the hotel,” he turned and said to her as he continued to walk through the hallway. “It’ll be the only way we can get any privacy.”

He practically ran to the side door of the arena, never letting go of her hand. They got outside where the limo was waiting and he opened the door, almost pushing her inside. He turned and noticed some groupies had spotted him and started screaming his name. He hurried inside the limo and shut the door behind him.

“Whew, that was close. If they got a hold of me, we’d never get out of here.” He let out a sigh of relief and slid over to her on the seat. “Finally, alone,” he said, flashing a grin at her. He wanted to kiss her, but figured they’d better talk some first. “I’m surprised to see you. Happy to see you, but surprised.”

She blushed and glanced down at her hands on her lap. “I know. And I’m a little surprised to be here, quite honestly.” She shrugged. “Guess I wanted to see you in action someplace other than your mom’s basement.”

He threw his head back and laughed. He often thought about all those times in his mom’s basement playing for her. He’d even started teaching her some basic guitar chords before they broke up. “A lot different huh?”

She giggled. “Yep, thousands of adoring fans instead of just little old me.” Her eyes filled with tears. “I’m so proud of you, Lance. You made your dream come true,” she said softly.

Should he tell her now how he really felt? That none of this mattered without her? What if she pushed him away again? He decided to play it cool yet. “I did. And you are writing like you wanted.” He reached over and took her face in his hands, stroking her cheek with this thumb. “Guess we both ended up ok, huh?”

She reached a hand up to touch his face and nodded. He pulled her to him for a kiss. This one was slower than the last, his lips taking time to move over hers, exploring her mouth gently with his tongue. She whimpered deep in her throat and he pulled onto him so she was straddling his lap. The heat of her sex through her jeans pressed against his throbbing cock. He thought about taking her right there in the limo, but he wanted their first time to be special; after all, they had waited over ten years for this.

Despite the fact they never had sex while they were dating, he still thought about it all the time, what it would have been like, how amazing she would feel. He couldn’t wait to make love to her.

Their kiss was interrupted when the limo wall between them and the driver came down. The driver cleared his throat. “Excuse me sir, where are we headed?”

She tried to climb off of his lap, her face red with the embarrassment of being caught kissing, but he held her firmly there. “To the hotel,” he replied. The band had checked in earlier and then gotten a ride to the arena. They had another show at the same arena tomorrow night, so they’d opted for a hotel instead of the bus to get some decent sleep on real beds for a couple of nights.

“Yes, Sir. Thank you,” the driver said before put the wall back up and pulling away from the arena.

Lance buried his fingers in her hair and pulled her head back to his for another kiss, nipping at her lower lip. He moved his lips down her neck. “I feel like I’m dreaming,” he whispered into her neck. “I never thought I’d get to hold you like this again.”

She sighed and her head fell back, allowing him better access to her neck. “Me neither,” she whispered. “I couldn’t stay away after seeing you yesterday. I wasn’t planning on this. I wanted to see you play. That was all. And then you played our song.” Her voice broke with emotion. “That was amazing, Lance.”

He leaned back and studied her face, brushing her blonde hair from her face. “I’m thrilled you liked it. I haven’t been able to get you out of my head since seeing you yesterday either. I kept trying to think of a way to find you, to see you.”

He kissed her again, his lips brushing hers gently. He pressed his forehead against hers. “Fuck, Sam, I want you so bad,” he muttered, his cock rock hard in his leather pants.

A soft whimper escaped her lips, “I want you too, but I’m nervous.”

He chuckled softly, his hands moving up her thighs. “Why are you nervous?”

She started chewing on her lip and slid off of his lap, sitting next to him in the seat. “Well, we’ve never had sex. And you’ve been with all these beautiful models and actresses. What if I disappoint you?”

How could she think she would disappoint him? If anything, all those other women did because he never felt about them even close to what he felt for Samantha. He grabbed her hand, lacing his fingers with hers. “You would never disappoint me, Sam. You mean more to me than all those girls combined. Truth be told, it’s been awhile even since I’ve been with anyone.”

“Didn’t you just break up with someone? I thought I saw in a magazine -”

He shook his head and squeezed her hand. “We were never actually dated. It was all a media ploy. It was good for our careers to be seen together, so our managers set it up a few times. Stupid, I know.” He sighed. Sometimes being a celebrity sucked. He turned to her. “What about you? Not married? No boyfriend?”

Her fingers trailed over his arm, tracing the tattoos. If she kept that up, he was going to attack her right there. Her touch was driving him mad. “No,” she looked down. “I actually just broke up with someone. We were even engaged.”

He suddenly couldn’t breathe. The thought of her marrying someone else made him want to puke. “What happened?”

She rested her head on his shoulder and whispered, “He wasn’t you.”

“What?” Did he hear that right? He was getting little clues she felt the same way about him that he felt about her, but he didn’t want to get his hopes up.

“I broke up with him before running into you. A few weeks before, in fact. It’s ironic and maybe a sign from someone above that I ran into you when I did.” She looked up at him, her green eyes full of emotion. “I have this bad habit of comparing all men to you - consciously or not. They never seem to be able to make me happy, not truly happy. I tried with Jeff, really I did. But I couldn’t see myself with him forever. We just lacked...I don’t know...Passion. Life with him forever just didn’t seem very exciting. I wanted more.”

He turned his head and kissed her forehead. “Oh, Sam.” He wanted to tell her about Nicole, that she’d never been pregnant. She still didn’t know and he wasn’t sure how she would react.

At that moment, the limo stopped and the driver put down the dividing wall again. He’d have to tell her later. “Sir, we’re here,” the driver said as he stopped the car.

Lance glanced at Sam. Her lips were still swollen from his kisses. He couldn’t wait to kiss her all over. “Ready?” He asked softly.

She gave him a smile that made his heart skip a beat, her eyes smoldering as they looked into his. “Yes.” That one word held so much promise. They were both adults now and knew what was going to happen in that hotel room. He couldn’t get her there fast enough.

The driver opened the door for them and Lance got out. He offered Samantha his hand and she grasped it as she climbed out. Those jeans looked amazing on her but he couldn’t wait to get them off. He felt his cock jump in his leather pants at the thought of her naked before him.

He growled at her, pulling him against her so she could feel his erection. “You look amazing tonight. Just in case I didn’t say that yet.”

She opened her mouth to say something, but the limo driver cleared his throat. “Sorry, man.” Lance mumbled to him and turned to walk inside the hotel, gripping Samantha’s hand tightly next to him.

Once they got inside the lobby, he stopped by the front desk and leaned down to kiss her cheek, “Wait here. I want to check the front desk to see if they have any messages or anything for us.”

***

Oh my god, she was here! This had not been part of her plan at all when she bought that ticket, but she had to admit she was thrilled. Samantha watched Lance walk to the front desk of the hotel. God his ass looked amazing in those leather pants.

She thought back to earlier, watching him during his show, especially during their song. She’d always. Her nipples tightened with excitement as she imagined those fingers moving over her body like they did over his guitar.

She couldn’t help but laugh when Lance started walking back to her, holding up his room key and a naughty smile. He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her against him. His embrace felt amazing now as it did back when they were kids.

“Let’s go upstairs,” he murmured into her hair.

She buried her face into his chest for a minute. She nodded against him, not trusting herself to speak and pulled from his embrace. She took his hand without a word and led him to the elevator.

She was going to let this happen tonight, but would this be it? Were they still too different? Could they even make a relationship work? Her eyes stung as she fought back tears. She wanted to be with him tonight, to feel his lips on hers and his hands on her body. In a couple of days he would go back on the road and she worried they’d go their separate ways again. He was a rock star anyway; there was no way he would want to be with someone as plain and simple as her.
Right?

She pressed the button to the elevator and gave him a shy smile. As much as she wanted him, she was so nervous. She opened her mouth to say something when the ding of the elevator stopped her.

“About damn time,” he muttered, pulling her into the elevator. When the doors closed behind them, he pressed his hips into her, pinning her between him and the elevator wall, his eyes dark with desire as he looked down at her. Her heart skipped a beat. He looked like a lion that was about to attack its prey.

She gasped, feeling his erection along her thigh. “Oh my god, Lance,” she murmured.

He bent forward, letting his lips blaze a trail from her ear, moving down her neck. He looked up at her and smiled when she let out a whimper. “Still have that spot, huh?” He asked.

No fair he knew her weak spot.
“Mmhmm...Lance.” Her hands moved over the front of his t-shirt, pulling it from the waistband of his pants.

His lips continued their assault on her neck. “Yes, baby?” He murmured into her skin.

“I need you,” she whispered, her hands sliding up the inside of his shirt, running her hands over his smooth chest.

“Fuck, Sam, I need you too,” he muttered against her ear. “You keep touching me like that and we won’t even make it to the room.”

The door opened and Lance turned, grabbed her hand and walked out of the elevator, while grinning at the elderly couple standing there with their mouths hanging open. “Good evening, folks,” he said as he nodded to them and walked by. She felt her face get red with embarrassment as she smiled at them sheepishly.

Lance practically ran down the hall, looking for his room and dragging her behind him. He finally stopped in front of room 613 and turned to look at her. “Here we are. Ready, Sam?” He asked, as he inserted the key in the door.

She nodded. Yes, she was ready for what she hoped would be a few amazing nights with Lance. And who knows, maybe it would end up being more.

Chapter Six

He unlocked the door and she followed him inside, shutting the door behind her. He turned and trapped her against the door, an arm on either side of her face.

“I am going to take you right here, right now, Sam.” He wasn’t going to wait a minute longer. He was going to explode if he didn’t bury himself in her soon. He’d wanted her for over ten years and he wasn’t going to waste another second. He could make love to her slowly later.

“Right here?” Her cheeks were flushed, her pink tongue darting out to lick her lips.

He nodded, pulling off his t-shirt. “I am going to fuck you here against the door because I need to be inside you, Sam. I want to feel your pussy around me.”

She whimpered at his words, her hands moving across his bare chest. He gasped as she ran her fingertips over his nipples.

He pulled her t-shirt off over her head. “Fuck,” he muttered as he looked down at her black lacy bra, leaning down to tongue her cleavage.

“Lance,” she moaned, lacing her fingers in his hair, holding him against her.

He reached behind her and undid her bra. He drew in his breath when he saw her pink taut nipples. He moved over to her right breast, brushing his tongue over one tight peak. She sighed, her head falling back against the door. He moved over to the other nipple, taking it into his mouth and sucking gently.

“Lance!” She cried out and he felt her knees buckle as he held her up against the door.

He let go of her nipple and took a step back, standing up straight to look at her. “What’s wrong, Sam?” He teased her with a grin.

She reached out and grabbed his face in her hands. “Fuck me, Lance. Now. I need you inside. Deep inside me,” she said breathlessly.

He let out a tortured moan. “I fucking love it when your innocent little mouth talks dirty. It’s incredibly sexy.”

His hands quickly moved to the button of his leather pants. “Take off your jeans. Now,” he commanded her as undressed. She quickly slipped out of her boots and unfastened her jeans, pushing them down her hips. She stepped out of them as Lance kicked his leather pants off.
