Chapter Seven

Stephanie turned in his embrace, her face tilted up and those full lips pursed and ready for his kiss. He swept his mouth against hers, a full body shudder moving through him at first contact and he released his grip on her, pushing her away so he could study her.

But she was too gorgeous to have so far. Unable to resist, his hands moved up to cup her face, holding her as if she were fragile. Something he cherished, like someone he wanted to take care of. His thumbs brushed against the soft skin of her cheeks. His mouth plundered her plump, welcoming lips and their tongues, met, danced.

Getting her off in the car had been the single hottest thing he’d witnessed since he didn’t know when. The way she’d spread for him, how wet she’d been when he’d first touched her. The sound of her creamy, juicy pussy while his fingers worked inside her, the little noises she made when she came against his hand, all over his fingers.

He couldn’t get enough of it. He couldn’t get enough of her.

Suddenly she pushed at him, those slender hands sure and strong against his chest and he backed up, kept going until he hit the wall with a thud. She stared up at him, her hands curling into the fabric of his shirt, twisting so it rode up high on his belly and her gaze wandered, lingering on his exposed skin.

“Take your shirt off.” Her quiet command was sexy, the look in her eyes even more so and with one hand he yanked the shirt up and over his head, tossing it onto the floor.

She drew in a harsh breath and stared at his chest, her gaze wandering all over his form. Her hands reached out and tentative fingers brushed against his heated flesh.

“You have the most beautiful body I’ve ever seen.” Awe tinged her voice as she explored.

He could say the same about her. Her touch was like a wildfire spreading across his already overheated skin, slim fingers igniting little blazing trails wherever they touched. He waited in agony, dying to know what she was going to do next.

Her fingers traced every muscled ridge in his stomach and her nails scratched, making him shiver. “I’m not even at my peak physical condition,” he admitted, feeling like a macho show off the second the words left his mouth.

“Oh, my.” She gazed up at him, her eyes twinkling in what he could only assume was amusement. “I don’t know if I’d be able to handle you in your peak physical condition.”

“I think you could handle me anytime you wanted me.” He gripped her upper arms and hauled her to him, giving her a kiss that stole her breath and stole his, too. He wanted her to know exactly how much he needed her with that one kiss. How bad he craved her, how desperate he was to have her again.

And again and again and again.

She broke the kiss first, her fingers shoving into his chest. “Don’t move.”

He watched in agonized pleasure as she dropped to her knees, her fingers going to work on the waistband of his jeans. She undid each button slowly, her fingers brushing against the fabric of his boxer briefs, her touch slowly driving him insane. Finally, the buttons were all undone and she spread the fly, revealing the unmistakable strain of his cock beneath.

“This is what I thought of, what I dreamed of. Me giving you pleasure,” she whispered, her index fingers hooking around the elastic waistband of his underwear and tugging downward.

His cock sprang free, bobbing close to her mouth and she smiled, grasping the base. A groan tore through him, hurting his chest and he slumped against the wall, more than ready for her next move.

She stared at his cock with avid interest, her fingers stroking, her thumb circling the head. Leaning forward, her tongue snaked out, licking the tip of him and collecting the drop of pre-come that had gathered there.

It was incredibly sexy watching her, what they were doing, where they were at. In the dark in a crappy hotel room, the faint red glow of the neon sign outside shining through the window. The both of them still clothed, his cock thrusting out from the fly of his jeans, and Stephanie on bended knee, licking him. The appreciative glow in her eyes as she watched him made him want to soar. Made him want to beat his chest and call himself a real man.

Heady stuff. Unusually heady and so damn fast. He never felt this way about a woman. Especially one he just met.

Ever.

Her lips wrapped around the crown of his cock, drawing him into the warm, wet recesses of her mouth. Her tongue washed over him, slick and fast and her hand still stroked him nice and slow. Her combined moves already had his balls drawing up tight against his body, the familiar tingling starting at the base of his spine, the base of his cock.

He was gonna blow and soon. Like an inexperienced loser who had no control around a woman.

But it wasn’t his fault, it was her. Stephanie. She made him feel out of control. He never lost it with a woman, he’d always prided himself on the control he showed no matter what the situation. Out on the playing field or with the media, at public appearances, in bed with a beautiful woman.

He had a sexual pattern and he always followed it to the letter. It was all about the woman. Stroke her, both figuratively and physically, make her feel good with words and touches and she’d return the favor. Once it was over, he was done. Long-term relationships weren’t a part of his life, they never had been since he was a child.

He shook his head to stop his mind from wandering. Needing to focus on what Stephanie was doing to him versus thinking about the past.

He’d always been about the here and now. And lately his here and now sucked.

Until Stephanie had run into him and knocked him off his axis.

She sucked him deeper between her lips, her hand moving to cradle his balls in her palm. Bobbing on him, she drew him in and out of her mouth and her tongue did a quick sweep with her every stroke. Reaching down he tore the elastic from her hair and the dark strands fell all around her face. He threaded his fingers in her hair, clutching either side of her head and gently thrust inside of her mouth.

Her little murmurs of pleasure encouraged him and he fucked her mouth, bringing himself closer and closer to orgasm. Her lips tightened, her tongue wet and warm and teasing and when her fingers slipped beyond his balls to press the extra sensitive flesh there, he was done for.

“I’m gonna come,” he growled, wanting to warn her. He rarely met a woman who liked to swallow.

She nodded fiercely, taking him as deep as he could go and he came with a shout, his semen spurting out of him in strong, shuddering gushes. Making his limbs heavy, making him weak as he came and came until he wanted to collapse from exhaustion.

Stephanie finally withdrew from him once his shudders decreased, her glistening lips curved in a serene smile. His hands still clutched her head and he cradled her face, staring down at her in quiet amazement.

“Did you like that?” she whispered.
His thumbs stroked her cheeks. As if she had to ask. “I fucking loved it.”
Nothing like brutal honesty as a compliment.
Her smile grew. “Can you help me up? The carpet’s kind of thin and my knees are killing me.”

He took her hands and brought her to her feet, hauling her close so he could kiss her. He couldn’t stop kissing her, really. His cock swelled once more, unbelievable but true.

Just like that, he wanted her again. Though this time, he wanted to be inside her. And not some quick fuck either. He wanted to take his time and search her body, learn what she liked. Teach her what he liked.

“I’m starving,” she murmured against his hungry lips.

Justin paused and moved away from her. “Do you still want to go to dinner?”

A giggle escaped her and she nodded, looping her arms around his neck. “Aren’t you hungry? I had no idea orgasms gave a person such an appetite.”

His immediate plans for another go around just shifted. Not as if he could deny her anything, not after what she just did for him. “You still want to go to that Italian restaurant I told you about?”

“Mmm, yes.” Her sexy little murmur made his skin tingle and he kissed her yet one more time. Her tongue met his, slow and searching and delicious and he deepened the kiss, his arms tightening around her.

“If we keep this up we won’t leave,” she whispered after he broke the kiss to catch his breath.

“Sounds like a good idea to me.” Damn he had tunnel vision with this woman. Single-minded focus on getting inside her tight body and that was it.

“Justin.” Hearing her say his name made him pause and he withdrew, staring down at her pretty upturned face. Her cheeks were flushed pink, her lipstick long gone and he noticed a dark freckle dead center on her lower lip. “If you want me to keep up my strength you have to feed me. And I’m not talking those stale candy bars in the vending machine down in the lobby either.”

He chuckled and drew his thumb across her lower lip, lingering at the freckle in the center. Damn, her mouth was sexy. Even that freckle was sexy. “Then let’s go.”

She bit the tip of his thumb, the sensation of her teeth and tongue on his flesh making his heart rate spike. “Yes, let’s.”

* * *

The restaurant was small and cozy and Stephanie could tell it had been around for years. Photos lined the walls, most of them black and white, full of smiling family members, wait staff and celebrities.

She even spotted a photo of Justin standing with who she assumed was the owner. It must’ve been taken years ago. His face appeared younger, his body leaner though he was still just as handsome.

He sat across from her sipping a glass of red wine, the waiter questioning him about his injuries and the status of the Miners team without him. She listened covertly as she had been a little too embarrassed to question him about his career.

Embarrassed and now feeling more than a little guilty. If he knew she worked for
City Magazine
he would drop her so fast her head would spin. She’d Googled him while still at the office and discovered he rarely spoke to the media, that his past was shrouded in secrecy.

The last thing he’d want to do is see a reporter. Well, she wasn’t a reporter per se but still. He wouldn’t want to have anything to do with her, she just knew it.

Propping her elbow on the table, she rested her chin in her hand, listening to Justin as he still talked to the waiter. His expression somber, he talked of his team with great pride. It made her wonder just how upset he was, forced into early retirement. How extensive his injuries were though she knew briefly about them after reading an article regarding the accident.

The accident hadn’t been his fault. He’d been out riding on a two-lane highway back in the spring, when a car barreled down on him in his lane driving in the opposite direction. He’d had no choice but to swerve, flipping his brand new motorcycle so it landed right on his leg, nearly crushing his knee.

His already bum knee that had given him trouble for years. He’d been a done deal career-wise in one fateful moment.

The waiter finally left and Justin’s gaze met hers, sympathy etched all over his handsome face. “Sorry about that. I’ve been coming here for years and I haven’t been around lately. They’re eager to catch up with me.”

“It’s no problem.” No way would she admit she could sit and stare at him for hours. He was so gorgeous and it was still so unbelievable he was out with her. Little ol’ Stephanie Shaw, Ms Nobody. “Does it ever feel like everyone wants a piece of you?”

“Well yeah.” His eyes widened as if surprised by her question and he reached toward the middle of the table, grabbing a piece of warm garlic bread from the basket. “I mean, I understand. When you become a public figure, you have to be prepared for people acting as if they know you and that they’re able to just come up and approach you. I don’t mind most of the time, at least for the general public. I’m not a fan of the media though. They want to dig into my private life and make it public, scandalous even. There has to be some respect, a line drawn, you know?”

Her heart dropped to her toes. Talk about making his private life public. Of course, she was doing it anonymously but still. Her first article was all about the sex with a stranger fantasy. Her next article had already formed in her mind and the night wasn’t even over.

Oral sex was on the top five fantasies for men according to that national poll. She wasn’t one to normally enjoy giving a man a blow job but she’d physically craved the taste of Justin’s cock. And it hadn’t disappointed.

Plus that feeling of power, of how she could make such a strong man fall apart so easily just with her mouth and hands had been overwhelming in its intensity.

Sitting across from him now, so handsome and composed, so assured of his surroundings, no one would ever know she had him gasping and trembling only an hour ago as he’d come in her mouth.

“How was your salad?”

“Delicious,” she answered truthfully. The lettuce and vegetables had been crisp, the Italian dressing tangy and flavorful, the hand grated parmesan adding just the right touch and the homemade croutons, to die for.

She had a serious thing for bread. And it had a serious thing for her butt.
“You want more garlic bread?” He tipped the basket in her direction, sending the fragrant garlic cheesy scent her way.
Her mouth nearly salivated at first whiff.
“I shouldn’t.” She wanted to, though.

“Don’t deny yourself. Have some more.” He flashed a wicked smile, all dimples and charm and just as she couldn’t resist him, she couldn’t resist his offer of food either.

Plucking a piece of bread from the basket, she bit into it, the cheese and garlic flavors mingling on her tongue. “I’m going to have garlic breath,” she said after she swallowed.

He leaned across the table, his smile fading, his eyes heavy lidded and the expression on his face full of promise. “So am I. So it won’t really matter, will it?”
