“You did it, Destiny. I’m so proud of you.” Sara moved around Adam to look at her. “Willie and I are going to the after party, but only because Adam asked us to. You know we would love to stay here with you and our
grandbabies.”

“I for one voted against it, but since he is our pastor, we’re going.” Willie grabbed Sara’s hand, pulling her to the door. Turning around to wave, they blew kisses and left the
room.

“We did it, baby,” Adam said as he took a seat by the bed. His smile was contagious because, before she knew it, she was laughing. “Oh, how I love our Jesus!” Destiny exclaimed, throwing her arms in the air. “I’m so happy, Adam.”

“I know, baby, you have every right to be.” He chuckled at the happiness of his wife. Placing a small kiss on her forehead, he said, “This has been our season of miracles.” He wrapped his arms around his wife as she sat in her
bed.

“I think you need sleep.” He spoke softly, watching her eyelids get heavy. Trying to fight off a yawn, Destiny shook her head, not wanting to sleep yet. “The babies might be back, and I don’t want to miss them, Adam.” She fought off another yawn, as Adam adjusted her
pillow.

“Your dad told the nurses to bring them back in an hour. That’ll give you a little time to sleep before their first feeding from
you.”

“You promise?” she said groggily, already closing her
eyes.

Pulling a chair closer to the bed, he made himself comfortable as he watched his wife close her eyes. “I promise.” Adam was sure she hadn’t heard what he said, but that was fine. He’d wake her when it was
time.

“I love you, Destiny.” Adam leaned back to close his eyes. Just as he was about to get in his real sleep zone, he felt the vibration of his phone. Looking at the screen, he saw Richard’s number. “Hey, man, what’s up?” Adam listened as Richard asked about Destiny and the babies. After telling him that the mom and the babies were fine, Richard asked if he had awakened
him.

“Not yet, but I was just about to before the nurses bring the twins back. Why?”

Adam heard Tina in the background yelling something, but he couldn’t understand her. There was a lot of
noise.

“Pastor, I had to call because you just gave birth
again.”

“Again? What do you
mean?”

“Your movie,
No Wasted Tears
, just won best short film! Congratulations!”

“Oh my God, what did you say?” Adam couldn’t contain the excitement in his
voice.

“What is it, baby?” he heard Destiny
ask.

Turning to look at her he said, “Baby, our movie just won best short
film!”

Destiny almost jumped out of the bed. She was screaming so loud that the nurses ran into the room. Seeing the both of them huddle together on the bed crying, they immediately became concerned about their
patient.

“Is everything okay, Pastor Wheeler? Mrs. Wheeler, are you in pain? If you are, we can give you something so you won’t have to cry,” one nurse said as she was looking at the IV attached to her
arm.

Smiling, Destiny looked at the nurse. “There’s nothing wrong. We just found out that our movie won a Golden Globe for best short film. So you see these tears running down my face?” Destiny pointed to them. “They’re not wasted. Praise the Lord! No wasted tears in
God!”
