Her parents were both happy with her decision, and with Kyle, once they got to know him and saw his deep love for their daughter. Riley was severely disappointed and let Brandy go graciously, wishing her the very best.

She went back with him to New York and Alice was beyond thrilled to have her friend in the city with her again, and Brandy was beyond thrilled to be there. She was moved into Kyle's house, and Kyle's attorney informed him that Veronica had signed a prenuptial agreement stating that no matter what happened in their marriage or why they may separate or divorce, that she would be entitled to nothing, which is what she came into the marriage with. So it was that she was divorced without a dime and found a Los Angeles millionaire to marry in place of Kyle.

Epilogue

The music began, and Kyle watched with enormous pride from his seat in the audience beside Mary and Oscar, and Alice and Harry, as Brandy took the platform at NYU and accepted her degree, turning to wave at her family and friends.

Kyle bounced his son on his knee and pointed, saying, "See mommy? There she is! Wave hello to her! Let's blow her a kiss!" The little boy blew his mommy a kiss as she walked off of the stage. Mary held their tiny daughter up and waved her hand at the stage too, as she was still much too small to wave it herself.

Brandy met up with her husband and children, her parents and her friends, and after photographs were taken, they said they would meet for dinner later that day. Oscar and Mary took the children and Kyle told Brandy that he had a surprise for her.

He put her in the car and drove her to her spa; the one that Hannah used to own, but which now belonged to Brandy. They got out and walked in the door and the receptionist looked up and grinned at her boss.

"Congratulations on your graduation!" she gushed happily, reaching over to hug Brandy. Brandy thanked her and then turned to look at her husband.

"Okay, what is this surprise that you're talking about?"

He led her into her office, which was at one time her massage room and the first place they had ever made love. He had expanded it when they'd bought the business, and now as they walked in, he showed her the surprise that he had waiting for her on her desk.

She saw architectural plans laid out, and he led her to them and brushed his hand over them.

"Your spa is doing so well that we're going to do an expansion; you are going to have a whole new wing on here just to accommodate the business that has been coming in for you."

She gasped in surprise and delight and squealed with joy as he picked her up and kissed her deeply.

"I can't believe it! We're growing! That's such fantastic news!" she exclaimed with an outpouring of joy. "Thank you so much! I love you!"

He set her back down, finally, and looked into her blue gray eyes. "Congratulations, my beautiful lady, on becoming the success you always wanted to be, and on reaching and achieving all of your dreams. I love you."
