“Me either. Not really. I don’t live my life in a fish bowl, but I was never comfortable with being out in public.” Levi felt his voice rumble in his chest as he ran his hand over Levi’s arm. “This is nice.”

“Dinner, a show, why Mr. Wright, are you expecting me to put out on the first date?” Levi pulled away to lean in the corner of the seat. Nerves hit him hard, his fingers trembled, he tucked his feet under his thighs to still the jitters before they started there.

“No, I don’t know. Levi…I’m out of my league here with you. I don’t know what I’m doing. I just want to get to know you. The real you, not the untouchable you I built up in my head.” Tracy moved closer, following him into the deep curve of the lounge seat. His knee between them once again. He reached out with shaking fingers to swipe his thumb over Levi’s lips. “We seem to be oil and water.”

“More like gasoline and a match.” Levi licked the tip of the finger on a second swipe. “I understand sex, Tracy, and we are setting off some serious flames. That Viking ice stare thing you have going on, you don’t know what that does to me. A jock and compression shorts are not going to contain the monster hard-on I get for you much longer.”

“Watching you run in those compression pants isn’t doing me any good either. I can’t concentrate. One of the linebackers tackled me the other day, because I wasn’t paying attention.” He moved closer, his hand slid behind Levi’s head to pull him forward, thumb still over his lips, Levi sucked him inside. “Fuck, Levi.”

“Best idea you’ve had all night. Need to get it out of our system. You know. So we don’t end up making out on the fifty yard line or something.” Levi wrapped his arm around Tracy’s neck and leaned back, bringing Tracy with him.

“I think you’re right. To get it out of the way. So I don’t rip those shorts off you and…shut up, Levi.” Tracy rose up on one knee, he moved over Levi, his mouth a fraction from Levi’s. His breath smelled of beer and something sweet, gum maybe.

“I wasn’t talking, you were. But I can shut up if you kiss me.” Fireworks exploded overhead, all blues, Tracy hovered over him, his eyes nearly as brilliant as the lights in the sky. Pop pop pop. More fireworks, fast, one after another, the colors a backdrop to the indecision he saw from above. As the last ball of colored fire fell from the sky, Tracy’s lips claimed his.

“That’s the last of the show.” Tracy’s mouth moved over his, taking his time tasting, licking.

“So it seems.” Levi nipped the tongue that parted his lips. He pulled the back cushion from the wall beside him and tossed it to the floor. “You’re too far away.”

“Definitely too far away,” Tracy agreed as he crawled over Levi, pushing the last cushion to the floor. Levi hooked his knee behind Tracy’s and pulled him flush against his body.

“Definitely.” Levi wrapped his arms around the broad shoulders and opened his lips for the kiss he craved desperately. “Condoms?”

“Definitely.” Tracy whispered against his lips. He wrapped his arms behind Levi and lifted him from the seat. He moved through the air, held in strong arms as if he really were a rag doll, small and easily carried. God, he loved big men.

Tracy settled on the seat with Levi straddling him. Hot callused hands fumbled with the hem of his shirt. “There better not be mosquitos out here. I’m sensitive.” He lifted his arms as his shirt went over his head.

“Heavy duty citronella. No mosquitos. No biting insects. Just me.”

“I’ve seen your dick, I wouldn’t worry about terrorizing the insect world.”

Tracy fumbled with the button on Levi’s shorts, his laugh a rumble in his chest that caressed Levi’s mouth. “You’re a comedian. Look in the box I brought on board.”

Levi leaned back, giving Tracy full access to his zipper. He twisted and snagged the box, pulling it close enough to rummage through. He tossed aside more candles and a few boxes until he found the plastic bag with an assortment of life’s little necessities inside.

“And I thought you didn’t like me.”

“I like you, baby. I’ll love you when my dick is inside you.” Levi grasped Tracy’s shoulder to keep from falling. Electricity shot from the tip of his dick to pool behind his balls, following the course of Tracy’s fingers over that portion of his anatomy. “Lube.”

“Yes, master. I’m your love slave, master.” Levi found the little tube of lube and squeezed a glob onto Tracy’s outstretched fingertips.

“Careful, Love Slave. You don’t want to make Master angry.” The lubed up fingers retraced the path down his dick. Tracy placed his other hand flat against the small of Levi’s back. “Fuck my hand.”

“Yeah,” Levi didn’t even think to disobey. He rose up on his knees and pressed his forehead to Tracy’s, searching for his eyes, finding blue fire burning just for him. He flicked his hips, moving in Tracy’s hand. The pressure from his rough hands almost enough to make him nut. “Feels so fucking good.” He braced his arms on the rail behind Tracy’s head. Hot breath caressed his neck, smooth lips followed. He tilted his head to give Tracy access and moaned at the sharp nip of teeth. The sound echoing over the water.

“I could get used to this.” The words were a mere whisper. “So hot. So beautiful.”

“I want you inside me, Tracy. Oh, fuck, please. I want to feel you. I want to make you feel good.” His shorts stretched across his thighs, hindering his movements. He shoved at the fabric, trying to free his legs. Tracy pushed the material the rest of the way while Levi kicked his shoes off. He didn’t care that he was exposed on an open boat with nothing but a sheen of sweat covering his body. He didn’t care about anything but pleasing Tracy.

“We’ll get there.” Tracy eased his lube-covered hand over Levi’s hip, trailing slick. “Tell me about your tattoos.”

Seeking the heat he lost, Levi arched his aching dick into the rough fabric of Tracy’s shorts. “I can’t help but notice I’m the only one naked.” He moved against the erection trapped behind clothing. The burn making the ache grow more insistent. Lubed fingers trailed down his spine to slide between his ass cheeks.

"I’m enjoying the view. Damn, Levi, you are incredible.” Tracy traced his arm with one finger. Levi didn’t have to see to know he traced the outline of the hated design. “This turns me on.” Levi looked away. The shiver that raced over his skin from the slow intrusion of Tracy’s finger rather than memory.

“Me too,” he said as he buried his face in Tracy’s neck and rocked back on the digit. “I can take more.”

A second finger joined the first, and Levi stifled the moan that would belay that brag. “You were saying?”

“You have huge fingers.” Sitting up on his knees, Levi peered down into the shadowed face, the slide and burn easing as Tracy stretched him. “I’m so ready I’ll come just from this.”

“It’s been a while then?” Tracy traced gentle kisses over his chest. The wet heat of tongue on his nipple, combined with the scrape of fabric along his sensitive dick and the fingers inside him, brushing that spot that sent sparks shooting up and down his spine had Levi nodding and moaning.

“Long time,” he managed to wheeze out a few minutes later. Silence drifted over the water. A splash from the distance, the call of a bird, the moon softly lighting the boat. “This is all too much. I need you. Now.”

“Condom,” Tracy whispered before latching his mouth around Levi’s nipple. Levi couldn’t move from the burst of pure pleasure. He cradled Tracy’s head as he angled his body to allow him complete access. “Condom or bareback.”

The idea of feeling Tracy empty himself in his ass sent a jolt of pure fire racing through Levi’s body. He’d had that once. Nothing compared to skin on skin. Nothing. Reality set in like a cold winter storm. “Can’t. Won’t.” He reached for one of the loose condoms spilt onto the seat where he’d fumbled the bag and tore it open.

Tracy leaned back and opened his shorts, lowering the zipper, one-handed. With the other hand, he pushed deeper into Levi bringing him back to his knees with each thrust. “Put it on me.” His voice was whispered, harsh, demanding. He pulled Tracy’s briefs down far enough to free his erection. “Please.”

“Yeah,” Levi said but his fingers were no longer in his control. Rough fingers covered his and guided him to the spot, and before he had the condom rolled on all the way, Tracy lifted him and dumped him onto his back on the seat.

“Like this?” he said from his place above Levi.

“This is good.” Levi pulled his knees back as far as he could as Tracy settled between his legs, the fingers slipped from inside him. “You’re still dressed.”

“Too late to remedy that.” Tracy closed his eyes as he pushed inside Levi, filling him, stretching him, making him ache. He clawed at the sweat-soaked shirt, searching for skin. He dragged it up his back as he pulled Tracy to him. “Fuck, Levi, you feel so fucking good.”

“As good as the first time?” A flash of memory from that night assailed him. “Seems like it was good. You feel good inside me.” He shoved at the shorts around Tracy’s hips and gripped his ass. Legs spread wide to take everything, he demanded more. “Fucking good. Fuck me. Make me feel you.”

Tracy lost his balance and fell over him, his hips slammed into Levi just the way he liked it, hard. The man lost himself, his mouth open, eyes closed, his breath coming harder and more ragged as Levi met his thrusts with his own. “Not going to last. Need this too much.”

“Me too,” Levi whispered as he wrapped his arms and legs around the hard body, covering him. “Ride me harder, make me come. Just like this.”

“Fuck, Levi,” Tracy groaned against his mouth as he slid his arms under Levi and ground himself into him. Sweat dripped from his nose onto Levi’s face, he licked the taste of salt from the man’s mouth. Licked his lips, then sucked his tongue into his mouth. The kiss fusing their bodies together. He could feel the boat shift under them. Water lapped the pontoons.

“Tracy, fuck, oh fu…yeah,” he lifted his legs higher along Tracy’s back, arching his body until Tracy’s dick slammed into that spot that changed his whole fucking world. “Shit. Oh shit.” He sank his fingers into Tracy’s back, clawing him through the soaked shirt. He caught Tracy’s cry as his body surrendered, Tracy arched into him, his body going stiff as heat filled him. Levi’s voice echoing back from the water all that filled his ears, he came, hard, between them, soaking Tracy’s shirt and his chest.

“Come home with me.” Soft kisses along his neck made him aware of the slight breeze drifting across his chest. Tracy rolled them onto their sides and laid supporting Levi’s head on his broad shoulder. His hand rested on Levi’s hip to keep him from rolling onto the floor. “Levi?”

“Yeah?” The world spun around him, tilting every which way. Levi didn’t know where to look to steady himself. He couldn’t find the ground.

“Did you hear what I asked?” The voice was muffled against his shoulder as Tracy moved over him.

“Yeah.” Levi dragged his foot along Tracy’s thigh and leaned into him. “Revelation.” He answered for the first time in his life.

Tracy leaned away, confusion in his eyes. “I’m sorry, what?”

“My tattoos. You keep asking. It’s the Book of Revelation.”

He was silent for a long time, long enough for Levi to regret telling him. He’d never told anyone. Not even Jude. “I asked if you’d spend the night with me.”

Oh. “Oh! Yeah. Here on the boat?” Not that he was adverse to a little nocturnal shenanigans, but he preferred to sleep in a bed, in a room, preferably with walls.

“No, my place. Come back to my place. Stay with me tonight.”

“Okay, yeah, I can do that.”

“Unless you prefer to sleep out here under the stars. I could probably find some pillows or something.”

“No, I’m uh, no,” Levi rolled too fast and ended up on the floor. “You fucker. Warn me before you do shit like that. It’s been a long time since I’ve had Astroturf burns on my ass.”

Tracy rolled off the seat to crouch beside him. “It’s been years since I sacked my favorite quarterback.”

Levi dragged him down onto the floor and rolled him onto his back. “Careful, Fifty-eight, or you might just find out what that feels like.”

“You can try, Five. It might even tickle.” The big man lay below him smiling up at him, as if it was the most natural thing for the two of them to be wrestling naked on a boat in the middle of a fucking swamp. So Levi did just that, tickled him until Tracy was hard and begging and both of them were covered in rug burns and cum.

Chapter Eight

“Got a problem, 501,” Dale Shannon flagged him down on his way out to the buses. They went wheels up in an hour, and now was not the time to hear about any problems. Especially any problems that might involve him.

“You know what they say, if it can go wrong…as long as it’s not a problem with the plane, then what’s the story?” He shifted his bag over his shoulder as Shannon waved him into his office and closed the door behind him. Levi only imagined the trickle of fear that wiggled up his spine into his brain. Was he being benched? Everything had gone well so far in the pre-season.

“No one wants to room with Bocephus.” And there it was, in black and white capital letters. At least he wasn’t being benched. The past month had been hell. Bo was a fucking zombie most of the time. He dropped the ball more than he caught it. He stopped talking to anyone. He just…ceased to be the man Levi knew and respected. “I can’t really say that I blame them. Okay, no, I can. I’m so damned tired of this bullshit. He doesn’t deserve the shit that’s been heaped on him. I thought better of the men on this team. I did. I thought we were all better than this homophobic bullshit. He’s a good man. A good player. Probably the best on this sorry team. And this shit has got to stop.”

Levi leaned against the wall, well out of the line of fire. He’d never seen Shannon get this worked up about anything. When Shannon finished his rant, Levi felt the weight of the stare the man leveled on him. This was partially his fault. He was team leader. Bo was his responsibility even more so because he was offense. Doubly his responsibility to make sure everything worked like…clockwork…and he’d kept his mouth shut when the slurs started flying. Because he was too damned afraid that defending Bo would crack the door on his own closet of shame.
