“What company?” Logan said.
“You know that feeling you have,” said Hudson. “It is the same our mom’s had before they conceived,” Hudson reminded.
Livy saw Logan nod. “That’s right. My mom told me her mother and her mom before her always felt topsy-turvy before each learned she was pregnant.
Livy stood. “Wait. You’re both crazy. You’re saying I’m pregnant and on top of that, you’re saying you aren’t after my family’s business after all?”
“Maybe we were, maybe we weren’t,” said Hudson. “The reason no longer exists now. Does it?”
Logan and Hudson drew near to stand on either side of Livy.
“The real question, is which of us do you love, and which one of us do you intend to marry?” Logan said.
“I don’t love either you, you—brutes!” Livy turned into the sunshine.
Livy rubbed her tummy and she knew what the Fox brothers said must be true. One dark, the other light, they were like two halves of a Ying and Yang, symbol. Only now, Livy had gone and managed to get herself tangled in a ménage she never dreamed was possible.
Better, was Livy knew she had feelings for both men.
“You know there’s an easier way to pick your future and lover and the future husband of your soon to be little bundle of joy,” said Poppy.
Logan, Hudson, and Livy stared to Poppy.
“And what would that be, Poppy Hepburn, girl-fearless, who does what she wants, because she’s independent?” said Livy.
“Let’s ask the Ball,” Poppy said.
Livy turned from Logan and Hudson and stared at the brothers.
“In six to nine months, we’re going to know anyway, and nothing you can do Livy Castle, is going to stop that,” Hudson said slowly.
“Livy Castle? Your grandfather, he ran The Castle Agency,” Logan stated.
“Mm-hm,” Livy replied, the way her friend Francis always did.
Livy knew the implication was she may soon become a billionaire and not once, but twice, if the rumors about the Foxtail Empire were doubly true…
“You know you love us,” Hudson quietly said.
“The only thing you need is to say which of us, you will marry,” said Logan.
“Until that day, there’s always fortunetelling.”
Livy, Hudson, and Logan head the sound of swishing and they looked at Poppy.
“Who is ready to guess what nobody can possible predict?
“Poppy, that is crazy,” Livy said.
Poppy asked the 8-Ball a question.
“Who will Livy Castle marry?” Poppy shook the 8-Ball, looking at Livy, Hudson, and Logan, who waited for the ball to give its response…
