They needed the people to be hopeless, lazy, indifferent . . . pathetic followers who didn’t question their overlords and impending slavery. No one was going to interrupt those plans or the coming culling of the herd that they were ensuring people were unaware of and unprepared for.

It was time they, the elite, brought an end to the visitors. And any hope mankind may have to fight the destiny they had planned for them. It was time they brought out their own secret weapons.

These few hundred people, with their secret meetings and their secret agenda and their banks full of money, were about to unleash their own brand of war.

Unlike those not even from here, they don’t care if the humans get in the way. They don’t care if others will needlessly suffer and die for their petty wants and desires. They wanted the visitors taught a lesson.

But they had no idea of who they were about to challenge. Or the rage they had unleashed that could not be put back inside the internal box it’d been locked away in for so long. They, who thought they knew all there is to know about cruelty and evil, were going to be schooled by a man who was raised on the kind of tortures that would give them nightmares. And very soon, those nightmares would become their reality.

I apologize for the week I lost writing this after I lost my Gibly. As my best friend, it was hard to write without him and certainly hard to write about him. I appreciate all the kind words and thoughts from you all.
