“I’ll go slow, Sunshine, just relax,” he says between glorious licks.

I hear the chair slide across the floor and for a brief moment his mouth leaves me. I’m about to stop this, but his hands grab my hips and pull me to the edge of the table.

“If I’m going to make this last I’ll need to get comfortable,” he whispers and then makes contact again.

It’s fucking glorious. His mouth suctions my clit and his tongue flicks me mercilessly, but it’s not enough. He’s torturing me with his slow attention on me. I want to buck off the table and push his face into me but his hands are still holding me down.

“I want to come, Trent,” I whisper praying to the gods above that he ends his torment soon and that Hadley doesn’t walk in.

“Noe, tell me how you want it.” His hot breath caresses my sensitive nub.

“Harder, lick harder.” I don’t shy away. I want him to please me and he is more than willing to do so.

“Fuck, you sound sexy.”

He does as I request, insistently lapping me up. My body is on edge as the familiar feeling of an orgasm takes over. My thighs tighten around his ears and a guttural moan escapes his mouth.

I can’t take it anymore. I sit up and move deeper into his face but he stands up, lifting my ass off the table and has my shoulders holding all my weight. It’s a different feeling but so fucking fantastic. His head moves side to side, moving my arousal all around his face.

“Oh, God. I’m coming, Trent.”

He doesn’t slow his pace, in fact, he quickens it and my orgasm comes out of nowhere. He drops me back down onto the table and thrusts his fingers inside me and his tongue extracts every ounce of pleasure he can.

I come down from my high but he continues licking and lapping me up.

“You taste so damn good, Noelle.” He gives me one final, sensitive thrash of his tongue. “So fucking good.”

My hands fly up to my eyes as he adjusts my dress back down. I feel him drag me down the table and land on his lap, straddling him.

“Sunshine?” I ask. “You’ve never called me anything other than Noe or Noelle.”

“It fits you,” he replies grabbing a lock of my hair in his hands and twirling it around.

“Because of my hair?” I ask stealing it back. “How original.”

I move to stand but he locks me into an embrace and lowers me back down.

“Well, yes, your hair,” he places a kiss on my temple, “but there’s another reason.”

I turn my head to give him access to my mouth and he takes it, dragging my lower lip between his teeth.

“Like?” I curiously ask.

Looking around the room, he slowly observes everything before answering. “After Alex left I felt like I was in a world of darkness, like the clouds covered the sun, but then every time I would see you my world would light up. I would see through all the bullshit, all the darkness and realize that one day the clouds would dissipate, and I would have all the sunshine I could stand. That one day I would have you.”

Tears prick at the corner of my eyes and I turn away.

“Don’t look away, Noe. I’ve wanted you for a long time. We’ve kept too much from each other. It’s time to start being honest. You asked me so I answered.”

“I did, didn’t I?” I rhetorically ask attempting to stand up again. He allows me to and I look at his erection straining his pants. “Want me to take care of that for you? I would gladly return the favor.”

“No, and it wasn’t a favor. It was an honor. I didn’t come here for that. I just couldn’t help it.” He shakes his head. “You really need to start wearing panties around me if you don’t want me to lose it every time I find you aren’t.”

I get to my feet and adjust my dress as he follows. “So much for taking it slow.” I snort.

“You didn’t like it slow.” He jokes.

“You know what I mean.” I poke him in his rock hard abs.

Before I reach the door he tenderly turns me around and places a soft kiss on my nose.

“Have dinner with me tonight. Jason and I will come over.”

I look up as though I’m thinking about it but I know the answer. “Okay, only if you behave.”

“We’ll see you tonight then?”

I walk him out keeping my eyes down as to avoid Hadley but the second he is out the door she starts in on me.

“If he paid for that consultation you know that would be considered prostitution?” She asks popping her gum.

“Shut the fuck up, Hadley. Nothing happened.” I lie though I know that she knows better.

“Harder! Lick harder!” She moans loudly instantly reddening my face.

“You were listening!?” I screech.

“Of course I was. You can’t bring a hot piece of man meat in here and go into a private room without me listening. Not happening. I need some good ammo for my vibrator sessions.” Her voice comes out even like she didn’t just tell me she would be thinking of me and Trent while she gets herself off.

I sit back into my chair still feeling Trent’s hot tongue between my legs. “Speaking of hot men…what’s going on with Ryder?”

Her face turns an embarrassing shade of red and she looks down at her keyboard.

“Nothing. He’s just an old friend,” she says.

“Yea, sure. Have you told your boyfriend about your ‘friend’?”

She ignores me and continues typing away on her keyboard.

“Thanks for keeping Jason.” I kiss my mom on her forehead ready to get over to Noelle’s house.

“It’s no problem. I haven’t had to keep him in a long time and I missed having him as a lunch date.” She smiles at me touching my cheek.

“Well, how about Jason and I take you out to lunch on Friday? I have to take the day off anyways since we’ll all be heading up to Lake Geneva, but then I’ll drop him off with Alex before I go up there.” I stand on the lower step but I still tower over my mother.

There are some days, like today, where I can tell she misses my dad. I miss him too. Even though it’s an honor to walk Erin down the aisle I still wish my father was here to do it. My heart breaks every day since he has been gone…not only for me but for my mother. She loved him so deeply. I envied them.

“Okay, give Noelle a kiss for me,” she says and then starts laughing. “But not that kind.”

I grab Jason’s hand and he takes it. “I will and thank you for the talk last night, Ma. I love you.”

She swats her hand towards me and smiles. “It’s nothing. Now work on making her my daughter and giving me more grandchildren.”

I leave her on the porch as I shake my head. The lady has six grandkids. I think she wants a baseball team.

Making it to Noelle’s in no time I set Jason up on the couch with a cartoon while I get dinner started. I don’t know if she realizes I still have a key but either way I’m not giving it back. Just the thought of sneaking in here at night and waking her up with my tongue causes tightness in my pants.

I attempt to make her homemade pizza but am sure to clean up the mess as I go along. I’m trying to stay on her good side and breaking into her home and trashing her kitchen wouldn’t help me.

Last night started out as the worst night of my life. I thought I had lost Noelle for good. I mean in the back of my mind I had always known that I would try again and that we could make things work. But when Alex came back I had forgotten all of that. I still need to focus on Jason getting to spend as much time as possible with his mother, before she can’t anymore. At the same time, I have to live my life and Alex doesn’t want me putting it on hold for her any longer.

I am so thankful to her for going to Noelle. I couldn’t be the one to tell people what was going on.  It wasn’t my story to tell. My mother being the only exception. It wouldn’t surprise me if the entire family knows now since Erin found out, but for Alex to go and explain to Noelle means the world to me.

“My God it smells so good in here.” Noelle’s singsong voice startles me as I push the pizza into the oven.

Impatient, I practically run to her and scoop her up for a kiss. She’s very accommodating, kissing me back fiercely.

“Noe!” Jason screams from the couch and she drops me like a bad habit and picks him up.

“My favorite man! How are you?” She pushes her nose across his and kisses him on the tip of it.

“You’re more excited to see him than you are me.” I feign hurt.

She laughs, placing him down, and passes me to set her stuff down. “Well, he is cuter.” She jokes.

Walking up behind her, I push her hair aside, and envelope her body. “Then he has to go.” I quietly joke, kissing the exposed skin on her neck.

“You’ll go before he goes.” She half-heartedly threatens.

“I can’t do that anyways. We’re a package deal.” I gently lay kisses on her neck before releasing her.

“That’s what makes you so appealing.”

Spending quality time with Noelle comes easily. Our witty banter keeps it interesting and she can’t seem to keep her eyes off me. She’s changed from the easier access dress to a tank top and jean shorts.

“Jason helped me set the table and just so happened to put you next to him,” I say pulling out a chair for her and kissing her shoulder.

As we all sit around the table, an immense feeling of happiness overcomes me just thinking about a future like this.

“Is it good, Jason?” Noelle asks him taking a sip of her wine.

“Pizza,” is all he says and tries to hand her the slice he is holding.

She takes a quick bite. “Thank you. Now you can have the rest.”

He smiles at her and says in a little voice, “K.”

“Did you have a good rest of the day at work?” Her eyebrow quirks up at my question.

“Well, the beginning started off fantastic but after a morning like that the day just kind of goes to shit.” She laughs.

Jason giggles with her. “Shit,” he says over and over again.

“Oh, no, baby, don’t say that word. It’s a grown up word.” She backtracks while trying not to smile.

“Noe, shit!” He screams.

Her mouth drops open. “Did he just say no shit?” Her voice low so only I can hear.

“I think he said Noe, like your name, and shit.” I correct her taking a swig of my beer.

“I’m so sorry, Trent.”

“Eh, he’s heard worse,” I say trying to make her feel better.

Kids repeat stuff. It’s going to happen. I’m surprised he hasn’t repeated more that has come out of my mouth.

Her face seems somber. “Still. I feel bad.”

Jason interrupts before I can tell her to stop worrying about it. “Pizza!” He yells shoving his slice in her face again.

Time slows as I watch the red sauced dinner fall to the ground onto Noelle’s pristine carpet. It hits the floor and bounces right back up splattering sauce all over the place.

I watch, and I wait for Noelle to lose it. To see if she starts crying or yelling.

Jason looks to the floor and jumps down to pick it up, stomping on the slice and most likely rubbing it deep into the carpet. I glance at Noe. She is motionless, speechless and I’m scared. Should I run with my child?

He picks it up and takes a bite, placing it back on his plate. I’m too nervous to move, but I apologize profusely.

“It’s no worry. We’ll get to it later.” She shrugs her shoulders, as if it isn’t a big deal, and takes another bite of her pizza.

I look around the room behind me and then back at her. “I’m sorry. Am I in the right house? The Noelle I know would be losing her shit right now.”

“Shit!” Jason yells again.

Noelle laughs and kisses Jason on the cheek. “Remember, that’s a grown up word, baby.” She smiles at him and then glances at me. “He’s two. His dad can clean it up later.”

“Too, Noe.” He chimes in standing on his chair and returning her kiss.

“He’s saying…” I start to remind her of his response when someone says I love you to him.

“I remember. Love you, little man.” She smiles but looks my way.

By the time dinner is over Jason is exhausted, but I’m not ready to leave. I’m still in shock that she hasn’t tried to clean up the pizza spot on the floor.

As if she could read my mind she tells me that Jason can fall asleep in the guest room. After setting him up I find Noelle in the living room with another beer for me and a glass of wine for herself.
