Her pussy was tight, and gripped his shaft as she settled in three slow pulses, downward. When their groins met, they sat face to face. She was unable to hide her strained expression or the blushes that deepened on her cheeks.

Another beer was dangled. She reached for it, wrapping her shaking fingers around it, then laid the side of the bottle against her cheek. “Fuck, I’m hot.”

He growled his agreement, sweeping a glance around the room. The twins wore grins that stretched wide across their faces. Killian gave a waggle of his eyebrows, then sat right beside Johnny and clinked his bottle against Johnny’s. “To women.”

“So not funny,” she said, putting the bottle to her lips and tilting it back.

“Tell me. Is she squeezing you?” Killian asked in overloud whisper.

“Shut the fuck up,” Johnny said, beginning to sweat.

Moisture oozed around him, and her eyes widened even more. She shrugged. “Not something I can help,” she squeaked.

“Drink your damn beer,” he muttered.

The twins crept closer on their knees.

“Back off,” he snapped.

“Whatcha gonna do about it?” Mace asked, grinning like a monkey. “This is way too much fun.”

“Besides, you can’t exactly make us move at the moment, can you?” Jason said.

Ellie glanced at Killian. Something seemed to pass between them. Since when had those two bonded enough to read each other’s minds?

She drank from her bottle again then leaned toward his face.

Johnny began to get worried when she pursed her mouth. Did she expect him to kiss her? As it was, he was holding on by thread.

She pressed her lips to his, waiting, her eyes wide open.

When he opened beneath the press of her lips, she squirted beer into his mouth. He gulped it down, felt it dribble down his chin, but she was quick, sticking out her tongue to capture it before it hit his chest.

“How’d that taste?” she whispered.

“Good.” He grunted. “Again.”

The corners of her mouth lifted and she drank again, giving him the beer pooled in her mouth. This time he drank it then sucked on her lower lip, preventing her from pulling away.

His dick twitched inside her, and she groaned into his mouth, her eyelids fluttering downward. Her thighs quivered.

“Think I’m gonna win that hundred,” Mace murmured.

Killian laughed. “I’d leave them alone to finish their beer, but they might forget about us.”

Johnny broke the kiss. The sight of her blurred lips and gaze filled him with a sense of possession. He’d put that look there. He nodded to Jason. “Come around behind her.”

Jason moved quickly, coming between Johnny’s spread legs.

“This is about her,” he said, echoing Killian’s sentiment, believing it now. She was lovely and coming unraveled, and he hadn’t moved an inch.

“Give me another drink,” he whispered.

She transferred another gulp of beer, but this time he didn’t swallow it down. Instead, he kissed his way down her neck, keeping the beer in his mouth. When he reached her collarbone, Jason got the idea and raised her, pulling her up on his cock, just far enough so that she could offer him her breast.

With the cool beer in his mouth, he nuzzled the hard tip of her breast, then carefully drew it inside, sucking harder to pull the whole areola and wash it with the slowly warming liquid in his mouth.

When he swallowed, she sighed. Jason lowered her back down Johnny’s cock. She rested her head against his shoulder.

Johnny felt the subtle squeeze of her pussy, clasping and releasing, around him.

“Kil—”

“Yeah, Johnny?”

“Grab our beers.”

Killian laughed but quickly plucked the beers from their hands. Jason climbed over his leg to move away.

Johnny sank his fingers in her soft, blond hair and cupped her lush ass. Then he rolled, tucking her beneath him.

Her legs whipped around his waist, holding him deep.

“This what you wanted?” he asked, his mouth an inch from hers.

“Yesssss,” she hissed, pumping her hips.

“I can’t be gentle.”

“I’m countin’ on that, cowboy.”

Johnny rested his elbows on the ground and began to move inside her, shallow strokes because she refused to ease her grip. “Baby,” he said, dipping down to kiss her mouth, “gimme some room to move.”

“Can’t.” She mewled. “It’s too much.”

“Let go. It’ll be all right.”

Her eyes filled, her head lifted to kiss his chin, his cheek, then rub quickly against his mouth. But she eased her legs from around his hips, opening her thighs to give him greater access.

Johnny closed his eyes, prayed for control, but it was already too late. Her moist heat surrounded every inch of him, subtle contractions rippling all along his shaft. He reared back, nearly pulling free, then slammed forward, grunting hard, unable to control his breaths any more that he could the quickening in his groin that fed his urgent motions.

He hammered her pussy, thrusting deep again and again, building friction, tension tightening his balls, his thighs, until he closed in, his strokes shortening, sharpening.

Her head tilted back, her chest rose. Her face screwed into a mask of ecstasy, reddening until she cried out and clawed at his back. “Faster, dammit, faster!”

He gave her what she needed, bringing his knees closer in, sliding a hand under her ass to keep her close, then pounding harder. She keened loudly and her body stiffened. He couldn’t hold back a moment longer, shoving his face against her shoulder to muffle his shout as he came, cum jetting deep inside her. “Fuck! Fuck!”

“Yes!” she cried.

“No,
fuck
. I forgot a rubber,” he ground out, still pulsing against her.

Killian laughed. The twins joined in. A hand patted his shoulder, and Johnny aimed a glare at his closest sibling. “Not a fucking word.”

“We had a whole box sitting next to the fireplace. Funny neither of you thought of it.”

“You could have said something.”

“I figure Ellie here’s a good woman. Not much to worry about. And you haven’t been with anyone in a while, have you?”

“I’m clean,” Johnny said, finding it strange he could look at Killian but not meet Ellie’s eyes, and he was still fucking her.

“I’m clean, but I don’t know about timing,” she said softly.

Reluctantly, he turned to meet her gaze. “Anything happens, I’ll do right by you.”

Her hands shoved against his chest. “I don’t need any man doing right by me. Not out of obligation.”

Johnny blew a breath, exasperated because he’d managed to get her back up again. “Can’t think,” he growled. “Not what I meant.”

Her lips pulled into a mulish pout. “You through?”

He saw the hint of moisture in her eyes, and wondered how he’d managed to spoil everything so quickly. “Sorry.” He withdrew slowly, reluctant to leave her slick heat. When his cock slid free, it scraped along the coarse wool of the carpet. “Damn stuff itches.” His brothers moved back and he raised up, kneeling in front of her. He raked back his hair. “Ellie…”

“I’m all right. Just…just give me some space. And I need a towel or you’ll have to wash this rug.”

Killian dropped a cloth between them.

Ellie’s eyes bulged, silently admonishing them all.

Johnny backed away from her to give her privacy then aimed glares at the rest of the guys.

His brothers left the room silently. Johnny turned his back, but stayed where he was beside her. “I’m sorry,” he repeated.

“It’s all right. I’m fine.”

“It was good.”

She snorted. “Maybe you shouldn’t try to talk to me right now.”

His lips twisted. “This wasn’t how I wanted our first time to be.”

“It wasn’t how I imagined it either…but I was okay with it. Until you poured cold water all over me.”

“Give me another chance?”

He heard a sigh. Felt warmth close to his back.

“I already called in sick,” she said, leaning her head against the back of his shoulder. “We’ve got plenty of time to figure out other ways to piss each other off. I’m not goin’ anywhere.”

“I wasn’t lettin’ you.”

He glanced over his shoulder to find her grinning at him. His own mouth stretched into a smile.

Her expression softened. “I think that’s another first. A genuine smile. You’re a handsome man, Johnny Logan.”

Johnny leaned back and waited. She leaned around him. The kiss she gave him was sweet. The nip she gave his bottom lip was sharp.

“Just so you don’t go thinkin’ I’m gonna be easy from here on out.”

“Baby, I’m not takin’ a thing for granted.”

They sat on the itchy carpet, staring at each other until Ellie’s eyelids dipped. “I’m not through playin’. You all right with that?”

Johnny grunted but nodded, happy she was enjoying herself. He nodded toward the kitchen door. “Those three probably have their ears to the door.”

“Well, they’re in the kitchen—they’re headed the right direction. Think they can rustle up something for us to eat? I’m starved. And since it looks like I’m the one who’s gonna be burnin’ the most calories, they can feed me.”

Chapter Six

Ellie felt a tug on her hair, and reached back to swat away the fingers as they pulled again. She muttered and snuggled deeper into the warmth surrounding her.

“Ellie.” The whisper was quiet but insistent.

She cracked open an eye to find Killian hovering over the bed.

He curled his fingers. “Come with me.”

She stretched, but arms enfolded her from behind. She was sandwiched between the sleeping twins. Johnny had left her with them sometime during the night to rest while he’d showered.

Killian offered his hand and pulled her up. The twins muttered and rolled to their backs. She spared a glance for each of them. They were beautiful, after all, and she’d had the pleasure of exploring their taut, toned bodies, one lick at a time. Even with their cocks softened, a lazy curl of heat stirred inside her.

A soft chuckle sounded. “We’ve created a monster.”

She gave him a baleful glance, noting for the first time that he was dressed. Had he come to take her home? She felt her face fall.

“Sweetheart, it’s not over. Come with me. Johnny and I have a surprise for you.”

Eager now, she slipped from the bed.

“Five minutes, then meet us on the porch.”

She hurried through a shower and dressed in her jeans and diner T-shirt. When she wandered through the living room toward the door, she heard a whinny.

Bemused, she slipped out the front door to find Killian and Johnny astride horses. Killian’s was red with a long flowing mane. Johnny’s was a pretty, splotched gray.

“You’re going riding?”

We’re
going riding,” Killian said.

Johnny pulled on his reins, guiding his horse beside the steps, then he kicked free of his stirrup and held out his hand. “Step into the stirrup. I’ll pull you up behind me.”

She bit her lip and gave him a dubious look. “I’ve never been on a horse.”

The men shared a glance. Both smiled.

Johnny curled his fingers twice, a gesture she was tempted to tell the men might work better on a dog, but she kept her tart comment to herself, not wanting to spoil their surprise.

Taking a deep breath, she climbed down to the first step, then accepted his roughened hand while stepping into the stirrup. He pulled her up so fast, she gasped, swinging her leg instinctively over the back of the saddle and scooting closer so all of her ass was over the lip.

“It’s high up here,” she squeaked.

Johnny gave her a look over his shoulder that was at once reassuring but also managed to make her hot all over.

“I won’t let anything happen to you,” he said, his voice a rusty grumble.

She slid her hands around his waist and pressed herself close to his back. “I’ll hold you to that. So we’re goin’ for a ride?”

Killian trotted his horse up beside Johnny’s. “We’re gonna check the herd. Thought you might like to get some fresh air and maybe see what it is we do.”

The ride to where the herd was gathered in a far pasture took long enough the gray dawn burned away by the sun rising swiftly over the horizon. Everywhere she looked filled her with a sense of awe. Tall green grass rustled to the slight breeze. Birds twittered from the branches of mesquite and lone oaks. Before they topped a hill, she could smell the herd. The odor wasn’t overwhelming, but put her to mind of the faint scent the boys brought into the restaurant. A scent she’d never minded, because it reminded her of what they were.

The herd was large and stretched across the shallow valley they entered. “It’s beautiful.”

Johnny snorted.

“You don’t think so?”

His shoulder shrugged. “Didn’t think a woman would appreciate it.”

She pinched his belly. “Don’t go makin’ assumptions about what I like, Johnny Logan.”

“I told you. I’m not takin’ a thing for granted.”

They pulled to a halt atop a grassy knoll overlooking the valley. Killian dismounted then came around to Johnny’s horse and held up his arms. Clumsily, she let him drag her down to the ground.

She winced when she straightened.

“Sore?” he asked, a hint of a smile in his eyes.

She wrinkled her nose. “A little. You must think I’m a wuss.”

“Not even. I’ve seen you in action.”

Ellie blushed and ducked her head, aware of every movement behind her as Johnny dismounted and led the horses to a tree to tie them off.

Killian pulled a thin blanket from a saddlebag and spread it on the ground. Johnny brought a lumpy paper sack and a thermos and knelt on the blanket. He pulled out three apples and a chunk of cheese. “Just a snack. We’ll go back for a proper breakfast.”

“This is fine. Just enough,” she reassured him, happy that they’d planned to spend some time alone with her. “No one else around?”

Killian grinned. “No one but us. We sent the hands off elsewhere checkin’ fences. Come have a seat. Let us feed you.”

She knelt gingerly then sat on her bottom, hiding a grimace for the slight ache, watching as Johnny pulled a pocketknife from his jeans and carved a slice of apple. He held it out for her.

“I could get used to this,” she said. She took a bite of sweet apple and moaned. She hadn’t realized how hungry she was.
