My foster mother had always said that I had uncanny instincts. That I sensed things a normal wolf would never sense. Sometimes it felt like it was a handicap. I became overly sensitive to things and overthought things far too much.
Maybe that was the case here.
Maybe it was just the shock of discovering her existence and in the morning I would feel very different.
She’d said that she would return to see me again. Maybe she would come with my father next time.
Maybe, after getting to know them, any uncertainty I felt would vanish.
Maybe I would even open up to them regarding Victoria. Maybe I would even want to introduce them to her, and explain that we were in love.
