"How
are
you
getting
back
home,
Mookey?"
Queen
asked
concerned.

"Logic
got
me
a
plane
ticket.

I'm
flying
out
in
a
couple
of
hours."

"Okay
well,
give
everybody
my
love
and
have
a
safe
flight."

"I
will."
He
said
as
he
hugged
her
tight.

"You're
not
mad
at
me
for
bringing
him
here,
are
you?"

"No,
never."

"Are
you
sure?"

"Yeah
I'm
sure."

"Alright
I'll
see
you
when
you
come
home.

Love
ya."

"Love
you
too."
Queen
responded
as
she
kissed
him
goodbye.

Obviously
pissed,
Teddy
closed
the
door
behind
Mookey.

"Please
don't
tell
me
that
smug
mother
fucka
is
staying
in
Atlanta."

"What's
up
Queen?

What
is
this
bullshit
about
seeing
you
in
class?"

Paul
asked
as
he
took
a
seat
on
her
roommate

s
bed
waiting
for
an
explanation.

"Apparently,
Psycho
Bob
has
transferred
to
FDC.

But,
you
know
what?

I
can't
even
begin
to
process
that
bullshit.

Give
me
a
minute
to
get
my
shit,
so
I
can
get
the
fuck
out
of
here!"

Paul
and
Teddy
remained
silent
as
Queen
quickly
packed
with
purpose.

It
was
quite
evident
that
Logic
had
rattled
her.

But,
it
was
even
more
obvious
that
she
was
pissed.

They
could
see
that
she
had
been
crying,
but
neither
one
of
them
said
a
word.

Moments
later
there
was
a
knock
at
the
door.

Teddy
opened
the
door
to
find
Jade.

"Where
is
that
bitch
ass
nigga?"

"He's
gone
for
now."
Queen
answered.

"How
did
you
know
he
was
here?

"Paul
called
me."
Jade
replied.

"What
do
you
mean
for
now?"

"Don't
even
ask.

I
am
so
fucking
mad
I'm
about
to
explode."

"Apparently,
your
boy
transferred
to
FDC."
Teddy
explained.

"He
did
what?"
Jade
asked.

"This
mother
fucka
is
crazy.

I
told
you
his
ass
had
problems.

I
knew
he
wasn

t
going
to
just
let
you
walk
away
without
a
fight."

Queen
did
not
reply
to
Jade's
assessment
of
Logic.

Mainly
because
the
thoughts
in
her
brain
had
her
head
spinning
at
two
hundred
miles
per
hour.

Trying
to
keep
it
all
together
she
continued
to
pack
at
warp
speed.

Finally,
as
she
zipped
her
last
suitcase
she
thought
to
herself,
"Why
in
the
fuck
did
you
let
that
bitch
kiss
you.

What's
wrong
with
you?"

But
Queen
knew
the
answer
to
that
question.
She
was
still
hopelessly
in
love
with
Logic
in
spite
of
his
infidelity.

CHAPTER 8

Jade
followed
them
home
to
help
Queen
decompress
and
unpack.
She
could
tell
that
Queen
was
unraveling
like
a
two
dollar
sweater
from
the
clearance
rack.

Unsure
of
what
to
say
or
to
do
she
simply
asked,

So
what
are
you
going
to
do?

"About
what?"

"Queen
you
know
what
I'm
talking
about.

Don't
try
to
play
dumb,
it's
not
becoming
or
pretty."

"What
can
I
do?

Stay
away
from
his
ass
is
about
all
I
can
do
at
this
point."

"So,
even
if
that
were
possible
what
is
it
going
to
accomplish.

You
know
that
he's
going
to
come
straight
at
you.
He
moved
to
Atlanta
to
get
you
back
and
he

s
not
going
to
make
it
easy
for
you
to
avoid
him."

"Don't
remind
me.

Why
in
the
hell
can't
he
just
leave
me
the
fuck
alone.

I
left
the
state
to
get
away
from
him.

Can't
he
take
a
damn
hint?"

"I
told
you
that
you
should
have
officially
ended
it.

Some
niggas
just
can't
take
a
hint.

And
that
flamboyant,
cocky
nigga
is
convinced
that
he's
God's
gift
to
Queen.

I
would
have
loved
to
see
his
expression
when
Paul
stepped
to
his
ass
and
declared
himself
king."

"Girl,
you
know
Logic.

He
just
laughed
that
shit
off.

Still,
he
was
a
little
shocked
to
hear
that
I
was
screwing
somebody
else."

Queen
answered
without
thinking.

"Come
again.

You're
doing
what?"

Queen
stopped
in
her
tracks.

She
had
forgot
that
Jade
had
no
idea
what
went
down
between
her
and
Paul.

"You
fucked
Paul
last
night,
didn't
you?

What
did
I
tell
you?"

"No,
in
my
defense
I
didn't
fuck
Paul
last
night.

It
was
actually
early
this
morning."

"Semantics,
it's
the
same
damn
thing
Queen."

"Jade,
I
was
horny.
He
came
in
my
room
while
I
was
sleep
and

You
act
like
you've
never
slept
with
somebody
on
the
first
date.

I
don't
do
that.

The
only
other
person
I
slept
with
on
the
first
date
was..."
Queen
stops
mid
sentence.

"Was
who?

Finish
the
damn
sentence
Queen.

Who
was
it?"

"Okay,
it
was
Logic."

"Yeah,
and
how
did
that
work
out?

I'll
tell
you
how
it
worked
out.

That
boy
has
you
sprung
like
a
broke
ass
clock.

I
could
see
the
confusion
in
your
face
when
I
arrived.

He
fucked
your
shit
up
when
he
showed
up.

Didn't
he?"

"I'll
admit
that
he
threw
me.

But
in
retrospect
I'm
glad
I
slept
with
Paul.

If
not
I
don't
know
if
I'd
have
the
courage
to
resist
Logic
and
pursue
this
thing
with
Paul."

"That's
the
first
thing
I
thought
when
Paul
called
me.

I've
seen
firsthand
how
weak
you
are
for
Logic."

"I
can't
believe
he's
here.

I
keep
thinking
that
it's
a
dream."

"It's
a
dream
alright
a
damn
nightmare."
Jade
interrupted.

"I'm
only
going
to
say
this
once.

Leave
Logic's
ass
alone.

He's
going
to
do
everything
in
his
power
to
come
between
you
and
Paul."

"I
think
he's
already
accomplished
that
mission.
Well,
he

s
at
least
planted
a
seed
of
doubt.

Paul's
different."

"How
so?"

"He
seems
distant
and
guarded
now.
I
don

t
think
he
trusts
me.
Not
to
mention
he

s
mad
as
hell."

"Queen,
why
wouldn't
he
be.

Who
the
hell
follows
a
woman
across
four
states
for
some
damn
pussy?

He
knows
that
Logic's
still
in
love
with
you.

What
he
doesn't
know
is
how
you
feel
about
Logic.

Matter
of
fact,
go
up
stairs
and
talk
to
him
right
now.

Judging
by
the
expression
on
his
face
you
got
a
lot
of
damage
control
to
do."

"I'll
go
when
we're
done.

I
can't
deal
with
it
or
him
right
now."

"No,
you'll
go
right
now.

I
got
this.

Go
find
Paul
and
just
tell
him
what's
up."
