He cleaned himself off, rolled on a condom, and met his lover on the bed. He reached between her legs, rubbing her already slick folds, heightening his need. He lined up the head of his cock with her saturated entrance and thrust inside, oblivious to everything but her.
Two days later….
The crunch of gravel preceded a red Mazda Miata pulling into the driveway, and Cooper stopped tapping on the hood of his truck. Having already waited over an hour in the driveway of the two-story, red-brick house minutes outside of Port Perry, he’d begun to wonder if Melinda would ever show up. He reached inside the cab and grabbed the roses he’d bought at the grocery store on the way out. Nerves sent his stomach into a massive tornado of apprehension. He hadn’t told Melinda he’d meet her at her house, but hoped she didn’t mind. He’d needed to see her again, prove to himself his time with her wasn’t a dream.
After their evening together, Cooper had returned home, leaving her to her long-neglected conference. He’d likely wake up and learn his date with Melinda had been nothing more than wishful thinking, his imagination on hyper drive.
As she opened her car door, Melinda smiled, her eyes lighting up like the sun. “Cooper! What are you doing here?”
“I, uh….” He dug his toe into the driveway. “I wanted to see you again.” He shoved the flowers toward her to try and end his awkwardness. The last thing he wanted was for her to think of him as a stalker. She
had
given him her address and told him to come over anytime.
“Thank you. They’re beautiful. I love roses.” She tucked the bouquet under her arm and began to fish through her purse. “I’ve got something for you, too.”
He angled closer as she continued to dig, setting some papers on top of her car and holding others between her teeth.
“Do you need some help?”
She pulled out a key and dumped everything else back into her handbag. “Nope, I’ve found it. Here you go.”
Cooper held the key in his palm, unsure what to do with it. Did she give it to him as a symbolic key to her heart? “Thank you?”
She laughed at him and shook her head. “It’s a key to my house. For you. I know it’s a little rushed and all, considering we kind of just met. But, honestly, we’ve known each other for years, and I don’t want this to end.”
He wrapped his fingers around the key. “I’m honored. I mean, that you trust me so easily.”
Melinda shrugged. “Well, we’ve both got to trust each other, right? Now, go see if it works while I grab my luggage. Then, I’ll make us dinner, and you can spend the night if you want. Because, hey, I can always use some more hero inspiration for my stories.”
Cooper laughed to himself. She might consider him the hero, but to be honest, she was his heroine, accepting him in a matter of minutes for his true self. Maybe this Madame Eve did know what she was doing.
Dear Reader,
Thank you for your interest in my new 1Night Stand bundle! I have eight stories in this line out now, with plans to write more in the future. They are just as much fun for me to write as they are to read.
I remember a few years ago when I received an email from Rebecca Royce, who I met through the now defunct author meme, Six Sentence Sunday. Her first 1Night Stand was about to release and she suggested I write a story for the line, adding my own touch of sci-fi. I took her advice and, after many drafts, submitted my first story. I cried tears of joy when I heard back from one of the line's founders. Valerie Mann offered a contract for the story and helped me to make it shine. Four years ago, on July 1st, 2011, Celestial Seduction released. Since then, I've had seven more 1Night Stands release with Decadent Publishing, the majority of them being about sexy aliens.
This collection contains five stories about beings from different planets coming together for one night of passion and pleasure. But will their diversity send them fleeing, or has Madame Eve once again proven her magic with these unique pairings?
I hope you enjoy all the stories in An Alien to Love and find at least one sexy alien you adore, too.
