He grinned. "Any sane woman would."
"I'm still mad at you."
"I figured that."
"You have a lot of explaining to do."
"Probably take a lifetime to do it." His grin was devilish.
She gave him as level a gaze as she could summon up, given the crashing and thudding of her heart. Obviously hearts tended to do that kind of thing when the object of their desire dangled in front of them, lush fruit for the picking. "Then again, I could spend the rest of my days making you as miserable as I've been these past few days." She ran her index finger along his jaw. "That could be fun."
He pulled her hard to his chest, and she could feel his heart—its beat as erratic and unpredictable as her own. "Then, let the fun begin." He kissed her, a deep lingering kiss so mystical and soul stirring, she couldn't believe it could ever be topped.
Until he kissed her again.
She kissed him back, a kiss from her soul to his. It was the kind of kiss a woman could only give the man she wanted to share her life with. A kiss of fulfillment.
"Is that a yes to the exclusive idea?" he asked, his lips against her throat.
She ran her hands through his thick hair, pulled his head up to look into his eyes. "That's a definite maybe," she said, giving him her own version of a devil's grin. "I want you to start suffering as soon as possible."
He threw his head back and laughed. "I think I've made the biggest mistake of my life."
Ginger smiled. "Better you than me."

A romance set on an idyllic Pacific Northwest island, it tells the story of Emily Welland, a timid, reclusive island woman who meets a golden California man—a man determined to calm her fears and gain her love. Lynn MacDonald, a single mother, gets a break from her busy responsible Salt Spring Island life with a trip to Paris. Open-hearted and open-minded to all that life has to offer, in the City of Light, she meets a man her polar opposite. (Coming soon, Grace's story—as yet untitled.)

Rosie O'Hanlon, a clever and funny tech writer, moonlights writing love letters for the "dating impaired" and ends up with love being returned to sender—in the form of the last man on earth she should fall for. (If Rosie doesn't make you smile—I'll turn in my writer's badge.)
