Aron’s insides clenched as he watched the struggle on Roman’s face, suddenly unsure whether Roman could do it. Maybe he was asking for too much too soon. And then his darkling’s head threw back and he heard the strangled shout of his name as Roman shuddered, clenching around him hard, his nails digging into his skin almost to the breaking point as Roman came apart in his arms.
It was the most beautiful thing he’d ever seen. Aron’s mouth went dry, and his eyes locked on Roman as he shattered. It took a few seconds for it to sink in, and then his body was dragging him along for the ride, his own orgasm surging to the fore with a fury. He drove deep, his forehead pressed to Roman’s, still staring into his eyes as he flooded him with a hoarse shout.
Aron tried to catch his breath, lowering down over him onto his forearms and gathering Roman close, one hand cradling the back of his head and the other braced on the furs to keep from crushing him. There weren’t any words for what Roman had just gifted him with, and what made it all the more beautiful was that Roman didn’t even know he was the gift. Not yet.
But maybe Aron could show him? Did he dare? The orgasmic bliss faded as he was faced with the thoughts and reality trying to intrude, but he refused to allow it. He rolled to his side and brought Roman with him, holding him close and burying his face in his soft, sweetly-scented braided hair. He would worry about everything another time. Tonight he just wanted to love his darkling until neither of them could move.
