When his eyes finally open and he finds out I’ve left, will it be too late?

Note: Pressure Point is a standalone novel, though characters from New Point make appearances.

Point of No Return

I had it all: an adoring husband, supportive friends, thriving career, a homey condo in the city.

Amend that.

I had it all except for love from my family. But life was good because I had him. Max was everything I dreamed a husband could be and somehow he loved me just as wildly as I loved him.

Until one cruel night he was stolen from me.

Then I had nothing but a vicious battle ahead of me. It’s a struggle so treacherous, I’m not sure if I’ll make it out with my heart in tact. But on the other side of that brutal war waits the most wondrous prize.

Will I allow myself to move forward?

Behind Her Smile has truly been a labor of love. There were times when I wondered if I should publish it at all, but thanks to support from a special group of people, this book is here today.

To my husband, thank you for explaining Florida law to me, reading everything I write, and encouraging me to keep going when I falter.

To my parents, I’m just thankful for you. Period.

S, M, and J, because you are you.

G and G, I’m always striving to make you proud.

Bianca and Christine, this one’s for you because you talked through it all with me. Alec and Karolina belong to you, too.

Sigal, seriously, you are everything. Who else would I vent to when I’m in full panic mode? You make me laugh, you make me cry (tears of joy!), and I still cannot believe we’ve been friends two years.

I am endlessly grateful to the beta readers who took the time to read through this book and give thorough insightful comments. Without your honesty, this book would be very different.

Hang Le, it was a pleasure working with you on this cover. Thank you for your patience with my strange direction. I can’t wait to do more projects together.

Jenny, you are the greatest. I love getting your Facebook messages with progress updates and seeing your name in my inbox. I’m so thankful to call you my editor.

To the bloggers, friends and followers who share my work with the world, thank you. Without your support, I wouldn’t be able to connect my work with my readers.

And lastly, to all the readers who buy my books, leave reviews, comment on my Facebook posts, re-tweet and send me messages, I adore you! Every message from you brightens my day, knowing my work means something to you, makes me float.

Thank you.
