He crawled up her body and kissed her long
and hard. Angel could feel his cock pounding in his boxers, wanting
to get out, and she wanted him inside her. She wiggled her hand
between them and found the split in his shorts. Bishop shuddered
violently when her hand snaked inside the opening, taking hold of
his shaft. Gripping him tightly, he began to move his hips in a
fucking motion, growling low. He sounded like an animal on the
edge, about to lose control.

“Will you fuck me, Bishop?” Angel whispered
in his ear. She could feel the length and thickness of him, the
veins that lined his magnificent cock. “I want to feel you inside
me.”

“Oh fuck! The condoms are downstairs,” he
rasped.

Angel thought about it for a moment. He was
in no condition to go get them. “Next time, then,” she kissed
Bishop and then made her way down his body, much the same way he
had hers. She kissed and ran her open mouth over his well-defined
muscles, starting with his strong jaw and thick neck. His
impossibly hard chest, and washboard abs came next, and Angel
marveled at his reaction to her. His hand gripped the hair at the
back of her head but he didn’t try to stop her progress.

Moving lower, she came to his jutting
member.
Ohmygod!
Her eyes grew large, eyeing his impressive
girth. Just imagining it inside her made her trickle with renewed
desire. She moaned, kissing all around it until Bishop arched his
hips, forcing his cock closer to her mouth. Angel laughed softly,
teasingly, making eye contact with him. His face was a twisted mask
of raw desire, his eyes as dark as cobalt. She had never seen a man
look as dangerous as he did now.

Deciding to put him out of his misery, she
slowly lowered her mouth over his rigid flesh.

“Aaaaaah!” Bishop groaned, throwing his head
back and arching his hips off the bed.

Angel loved his cock thoroughly, slowly,
tonguing the cum-filled slit down to the twin sacs at the base,
savoring his heady essence. She felt every ripple and vein of his
blood-filled member, taking pleasure in the taste and arousing
scent of it, responding to the hot steel encased in a satiny
sheath. In no time Bishop was reaching a powerful orgasm, his large
body convulsing uncontrollably while coming inside her mouth.

“Aaaaaahh,” he rasped in a guttural sound,
his hand twisting in her hair.

When his body calmed his hand dropped to
Angel’s shoulder and he pulled her up his body. Kissing her, he
forced her down against him. “Whew!” he said when their lips
parted.

“Are you okay?” Angel asked laying her head
against his chest.

“I haven’t come that hard in a long time,”
he confessed, caressing her backside. “Did I hurt you?”

She raised her head and met his eyes with
surprise. “No.”

He released a heavy breath. “I know I was
rough. You’re the first woman I’ve been with in six months. As soon
as I laid eyes on you last night I wanted to fuck you.”

“So any woman would have done.” She was
careful to disguise the disappointment in her tone.

“No, not just any woman, Angel. I’ll admit
I’ve been horny as hell the last couple of days, but since my last
mission ended I’ve had plenty of opportunity to, ah, relieve some
of the tension, and I didn’t.”

Angel laughed, relieved to hear she wasn’t a
convenient outlet for his sexual urges.

“You’re the breath of fresh air I’ve needed
for a long time.” His hand settled on the curve of her hip. “Truth
is, I’m tired of leftovers.”

“Leftovers?”

He shrugged. “I don’t know any other way of
putting it. I live a hard life, Angel. No roots, no place to call
home, except here on occasion. Some men like me don’t get married,
much less have permanent girlfriends. The women we meet are the
ones we find in bars or on street corners. They provide us with sex
and fun times with no strings attached. Some charge for their time.
I’m not proud of that, but I’m not going to apologize for it
either.”

She gasped.

“If that shocks you, I’m sorry. And if
you’re worried about whether I’m clean, don’t. My last physical was
three months ago, and everything checked out.”

“That’s kind of sad.” She smoothed her hand
over his chest, gently touching his faded scars. “No one should
settle for less, Bishop. Especially someone who sacrifices so much
while serving his country.”

“Don’t pity me. It’s the life I chose, and
not all of us have the same philosophy. I just knew when my last
assignment was over that I wanted something different for a change.
Someone soft, innocent, not as,” he hesitated as if searching for
the right word, “used.”

“Someone who doesn’t sleep around?” He
remained quiet, and Angel decided to change the subject. “Where was
your last assignment?”

“I don’t talk about that…ever,” he said
firmly. “What we do is classified, unglamorous, and sometimes ugly.
When the job is done I like to leave it behind.”

Oh. I guess I can’t blame him.
“So,
you, ah, think I’m innocent?”

Their gazes met and held. “You’re the worst
kind of innocent.” He leaned down and kissed Angel, drinking the
innocence from her lips. She didn’t know how potent she was, how
hungry she made him, while at the same time fulfilling a fierce
need in him. The feelings she roused demanded he do something about
it. He wasn’t anywhere near sated yet. It would take more than one
blow-job to do that.

Her soft moan brought him back to reality.
Bishop tore his mouth away from hers before it led to other things.
He wanted to fuck the hell out of her, and his cock was hard again,
demanding he do something about it. The only thing he wanted to do
was sink inside the sweet sheath of her body. He thought about the
condoms downstairs.

“You’re the first man I’ve ever done
anything like this with, Bishop. I want you to know that I don’t
sleep around. And I’ve never slept with someone I just met.”

“You made an exception for me?” He found
that thought interesting.

She glanced down as if suddenly turning shy,
and wouldn’t meet his eyes. “Well, I kind of feel like I know you.
Diana talks about you all the time, and there’s a recent picture of
you down on the mantle above the fireplace.” She hesitated before
adding in a low tone, “You’ve been…in…a dream, or two.”

That little bit of news fascinated Bishop.
The blush staining Angel’s cheeks revealed they might not have been
normal dreams, either. Was that why she’d given herself to him so
willingly?

“Would you like something to eat?” She asked
after a while.

He cocked a brow and looked at her with a
growing smile.

“I mean, breakfast,” she quickly clarified,
smiling in return.

She had a pretty smile that made her eyes
sparkle. The rose staining her cheeks revealed that she was
innocent, if something as small as a double entendre made her
blush. The heady taste of her was still on his tongue, the scent of
her sex still in his nostrils. It wouldn’t take much to have him
lapping at her pretty pussy again.

Was he hungry? Yeah, but it wasn’t for food.
He could use some coffee, though, and while he was there he’d make
sure to get the condoms in his duffle bag. He intended to have a
taste of Angel again, until some of her virtuousness rubbed off
onto him and he began to feel human again. The last year had been
the worst in his career as a SEAL.
Hell, maybe I’ve been at it
too long, and it’s time to get out.

“Hello?”

“Coffee will do,” he said, smiling in the
face of her slight impatience. “And more of you.” He watched her
eyes flare with surprise and awareness.

A small smiled tugged at the corners of her
lips. “How do you like your coffee?”

“Black.”

Bishop watched her reach for her ruined
night shirt. But before she covered up her nudity his gaze raked
over her lush, full breasts with those tasty, little, nipples. Then
he saw the marks and knew his whiskers had chaffed her tender
flesh. He made a mental note to be more careful next time. As she
slipped her arms into the shirt, he couldn’t help but glance down
at her pretty naked pussy. It was plump, pink, and caused a rush of
volcanic heat to fill his gut, especially when he recalled how
sweet she’d tasted.

“I’ll be back.”

He watched her leave. After ten or so
minutes he’d go down.

Chapter 4

There was nothing like the smell of fresh
coffee in the mornings. As Angel waited for it to finish she took
her vitamins and ate a yogurt. Sex always made her hungry. Having
sex with a man like Bishop, well, she might have to eat two. Her
thoughts drifted to the man upstairs, surprised at herself for
sleeping with someone she didn’t know. But when Bishop had turned
to her and said that he wanted her, it had seemed the most natural
thing in the world to do, especially since she’d wanted him, too.
The only difference was that Angel had started wanting Bishop long
before last night.

He was a good lover. Thinking about how
thorough he’d been, seeing to her needs first, made her tingle all
over. His confession about the type of woman he usually got
involved with didn’t surprise her. Diana had told her a few things
about Bishop, what being a SEAL meant to him, and the sacrifices
he’d made to serve the country. Not all of them gave up having
families, but Bishop wanted to keep a clear head. He didn’t want to
have to worry about anything but carrying out a successful mission
while he was on an assignment. In his mind, leaving a wife and
family behind would jeopardize that.

Was he tired of living like that? Angel
wondered if he was beginning to have regrets about his choices. His
comment about being tired of leftovers said a lot, but she didn’t
know Bishop well enough to venture a guess where his head was at.
All she knew was that right now she was a means to some kind of
normalcy for him, and they all needed that in their lives.

Barnie was letting her know in his noisy way
that he was hungry. He jumped up on the counter where she was
standing. Angel took his little head in her hands and rubbed her
nose against his. “You hungry, baby?”

Meow!

Laughing, she put him on the floor, then
freshened up his water and opened a can of cat food, which he
proceeded to wolf down as if he hadn’t eaten for days. She gave him
a final pat on the head, and turned back to the coffee maker.

“Oh!” Bishop was standing in the kitchen
doorway, silently watching her. “You scared me.” Try as she might
she couldn’t keep her eyes from roaming over his hard body. Most of
his scars were old, with the exception of one. Her heart hurt for
the pain he must have gone through.

“Not a pretty sight.”

Her gaze moved up to meet his. “You’re still
the sexiest man I’ve ever seen.” It was the truth. Angel couldn’t
believe how forthcoming she was being, but he made her feel
comfortable and free to speak what was on her mind. She shook her
head. “I’m not usually this outspoken. I don’t know why, but I feel
like we’re friends. Probably because Diana and I are close, and she
talks about you.”

Amusement showed in his eyes as he slowly
gave her a once-over. “I think we’ve gone past the guise of
friendship, don’t you?”

Angel wished he wasn’t looking at her like
he was ready for round two. She couldn’t think straight, not while
she was slowly melting into an inner puddle of desire. His gaze
didn’t hold anything back, moving over her with lazy intent,
lingering on her nipples until they peaked. When his gaze dropped
to her pussy she felt a rush of burning excitement there. Standing
before Bishop’s smoldering gaze, she began to tremble wildly.

Hoping to pull herself together, she took a
breath and turned to the cupboard. “Coffee is ready.”
Oh shit! I
sound like Minnie Mouse!
Angel cleared her throat. “Let me pour
you a cup.” She removed two mugs from the cupboard and set them
next to the maker. “Would you like a yogurt?” She filled the cups
and turned to set one on the island closest to Bishop.

His laughter filled the kitchen as he sat
down on one of the barstools. “No self-respecting SEAL would be
caught dead eating that girly stuff.”

Angel watched him take a cautious sip of his
coffee. Lord, he was a sexy man, and the dark stubble on his square
jaw made him look attractively dangerous. His torso was ripped with
solid muscles that tapered down to lean hips and thick thighs. She
didn’t have to imagine what his boxers were hiding. His cock was an
impressive muscle, even flaccid. A smile turned the corners of her
lips upward.

“Besides, I already told you what I want for
breakfast.”

Huh?
His comment broke into her
wayward thoughts.
Oh… yes, he had.
Heat traveled up her neck
into her cheeks. She could only hope Bishop didn’t guess she’d been
taking inventory of his assets.

Meow!
Barnie jumped up in front of
Bishop.
Meow!

“I think he remembers you.”

“He’d better. He was my cat for the first
seven years of his life.”

Angel smiled at the way Barnie rubbed up
against Bishop’s chest. She was envious of the cat and his freedom
to cuddle up against Bishop, recalling how strong and powerful his
chest had felt beneath her hands.
Are all SEALS built like him?
Like hard, unstoppable machines?
It dawned on Angel she was
staring again. Raising her gaze, she met his eyes, which were
filled with knowing amusement.
Damn!
She took a drink of her
coffee and pretended he hadn’t just caught her ogling him for a
second time.

“How long have you and Diana been friends?”
He asked.

“Since she and Alex got married. I was a
guest at the wedding.” Angel saw his expression become grim,
guessing he was thinking about that day. He hadn’t been able to
make it. “Alex and my brother Steve are best friends. Steve didn’t
have a girlfriend at the time, so he begged me to go with him.”
