Ethan smiled at her.

“I wish the lord blesses me with someone as precious as you one day.”

Harrison took his eyes off the delightful sight and looked out at the water. She did deserve to experience motherhood just once. “I think you will make a great mother.”

“You think so?” she asked.

He turned and found Ethan on Angel’s lap cuddling. “Yeah, I think so.”

Angel watched Ethan while Harrison swam in the water. They had tried to put Ethan in, but he had a fit as soon as the water touched his feet. Maybe she should recommend a beginner’s swimming class to Harrison, because now was the best time to break Ethan’s fear of water. Well, she didn’t think it was a fear of water…more a fear of getting his hair wet. He was the first vain two-year-old she’d ever encountered and he was ever bit his father’s son. Even now she saw the strong resemblance. They shared the same golden blond hair, big blue eyes, and infectious smile. They even had the same wit. She liked when Harrison told Ethan something sarcastic and the child just smiled at him like,
oh yeah right
, or simply ignored him. Yet to hear Harrison speak, one would think Ethan was an alien sent to earth to torture him. Of course she knew that Harrison loved the child and he was doing everything he could to give Ethan a happy life. The problem was he expected everything to go perfect immediately when kids had their own way of progressing into adulthood.

Like this thing with Ethan’s hair. Personally, she liked the curls, but she was not his mother so she didn’t pass an opinion. So what if Roy liked to touch Ethan’s curls? A child’s sexuality was determined at birth and there wasn’t anything Harrison could do about it.

Harrison finally came out of the water.

Angel gulped.
Huh?
And he thought she looked sexy. Apparently, he hadn’t looked at himself in the mirror lately, or noticed the way the young women were watching him at this very moment. He was forty, muscular, and blond. In her book, that spelled hot. His wet trunks rode low on his slim hips. She allowed her eyes to go a little further. Damn, she could make out the outline of his cock through the fabric as he neared.

“You’re right, the water is great,” he said, flopping down on the beach lounger. “You better lie him down before you spoil him.”

Angel looked down. Ethan had fallen asleep in her arms with his head pressed against her chest and she hadn’t noticed.

“For someone who doesn’t like to be touched, he has no problem cuddling with you. It must be the jugs.”

Angel rose and then stooped and laid Ethan on the blanket under the umbrella to shade him from the direct sunlight. “It’s the heartbeat.”

“What?” Harrison asked, pulling her onto his lap.

“He likes the sound of my heartbeat. It has something to do with lying in the womb for nine months. I think I read somewhere that a child can hear its mother’s heartbeat and it’s soothing.”

“Maybe you’re right,” he said. “Let me see.” He put his head against her breast. “You’re right. It is soothing. Remind me to go to sleep just like this tonight.”

“Is this your way of inviting me to spend the night?” Angel asked.

Harrison lifted his head. “Yes. We’re dropping Ethan off by my sister-in-law after we leave here. She’s been missing him and wants him to spend the night.”

“Which means you’ll have the entire house to yourself.”

“Ah ha,” Harrison said, kissing her neck. “And we can have a little naked adult fun without a little head popping up at the end of the bed trying to see what we’re doing.”

Every muscle in her stomach tightened at the thought of being alone with Harrison. “That means you can scream and get freaky,” she teased.

“And I can explore every inch of your body from head to toe.”

Angel giggled. “I can do the same thing to you. Do you know I can suck your fingers and turn you on?”

His dick hardened beneath her stomach. “I’ve never had my fingers sucked before.”

“And I bet you’ve never been tied and whipped either.” The more she spoke, the harder his cock got. “And I bet we can get pretty crazy with bananas, whipped cream, and chocolate syrup?”

“Why do I suddenly have a craving for a banana split?” Harrison asked.

“You’re hard,” she teased.

“Yes, I am.” He cupped her face in his hands and kissed her. “I’m going to rock your world tonight.”

Ethan stirred on the blanket.

“Did you ever have curls?” Angel asked.

Harrison stepped away from her. “That is one secret I’m taking to my grave. Let’s eat while the baby sleeps.”

Angel moved down onto the blanket and opened the picnic basket. “I hope you like fried chicken.”

“I love fried chicken,” Harrison said, following her down on the blanket. “And cherries.”

Angel blushed. Harrison was so silly.

Ethan didn’t put up much of a fuss when he dropped him off at Trudy’s. In fact, he went tearing through the house looking for his toys. Luckily, Harrison had remembered to pack Bunny or he’d have to go all the way home to get him and then drive back.

Harrison introduced Angel to Trudy and Jeb, even though they had already met each other a while ago. The two women hit it off immediately. He’d been a little worried about that since Trudy was Olivia’s sister. But Trudy didn’t seem to mind. “I’ll come to get him in the morning,” Harrison promised.

Trudy shook her head. “I’m taking him to church with me,” she told him. “I’ll drop him off after lunch.” She winked at him and Angel blushed.

After a quick stop at the store for things to make the banana splits and steaks he’d promised to fix her for dinner, he dropped Angel at her house so she could change and shower while he cranked up the grill. It felt good to cook for her for a change and he wanted to show off his grilling skills.

Angel returned about two hours later dressed in a pretty floral sundress and sandals. She made the salad while he finished the steaks and the baked potatoes. He had a bottle of Chianti chilling to go along with their dinner and he had just taken the steaks off the grill when the first rain drops fell. He’d planned to eat with her on the patio, but he kitchen table worked out just as well.

After dinner, they moved to the den to sip Chianti and to listen to the rain fall.

“This is nice,” Angel said. “I like to hear the rain falling.”

“Me too,” Harrison told her. “But it sounds much better from the bedroom window.”

“Is that a hint?” she asked, rising and reaching out her hand to him.

Harrison took her hand and carried the Chianti in the other. Moments later, they were both naked and kissing like newlyweds in the center of his bed.

The rain came down heavily and lightning flashed in the window the moment he pushed his cock inside her. The Chianti heated his blood and had him in rare form as he made love to her. They moved around on the bed and changed positions a couple of times before Angel ended up on top of him, riding him and not holding anything back. The moonlight from the window cast their shadows upon the wall, giving him an erotic view of them as they coupled. He found it better than any porn movie.

Angel removed the condom from his cock and mounted him in a perfect sixty-nine position. They had never attempted this before, but he was game to try new things. And she got no complaints from him as she licked and sucked the chocolate syrup from his dick while he dined on her whipped cream-covered snatch.  He tried to fight it off, but her warm mouth and flicking tongue proved too much and he exploded, filling her mouth   with his hot cum.

Angel came up for air, swallowing and licking her lips like a trooper.

“I would say that my ego took a big blow if it didn’t feel so damn good,” Harrison said, cuddling her into his arms. Now I have to recuperate.”

Angel licked the side of his face. “Whipped cream,” she told him with an innocent little giggle. “I’m okay just being in your arms like this.”

“But you’ve only come twice so far,” Harrison replied. “Your record is four times, and I had plans on seeing if you could achieve five.”

Angel rolled out of his arms, crawled off the bed, and disappeared out of the room for a few minutes. She returned carrying a banana.

“What do you plan to do with that?” he asked.

“Perform some magic,” she said, climbing back on the bed.

Harrison sat up on the bed. “What do you mean?”

She put the banana in her mouth and sucked on the tip of it. She opened her mouth wide and pushed most of it inside.

Harrison raised an eyebrow. The clever day lady was full of surprises. Moments later, he watched her peel the banana. She leaned back and aimed it between her legs.

“You wouldn’t dare,” he said.

The smile never left her beautiful face as she pushed the banana deep inside her pussy. “Try to find it,” she challenged.

Harrison jumped at her, buried his head between her legs, and ate every bit of the banana out of her.

Chapter Five

There was something about waking up to the sound of pots being beat at five on a Monday morning that just erased the weekend’s banana fantasy right out of his memory. Harrison got out of the bed to investigate. He found his precocious two-year-old sitting on the floor surrounded by every pot and pan they owned.

The television on the counter blasted the cartoon station at its highest decibel. Harrison checked the lock on the door that led outside. Locked, chained and from all indication, no one had broken in and wrecked the kitchen, so all the evidence led to the blue-eyed cherub looking innocently up at him. Harrison maneuvered his way around the pots, pushed the kitchen chair turned step stool back under the table, and turned the volume down on the television.

Harrison sat down on the floor and stared at Ethan.

“Daddy,” Ethan said.

“Too late to kiss up to the Gunny,” Harrison told him. “One, why are you up? Two, why are you in the kitchen? Three, when did you learn to turn on the television, and four, why did you take the pots out of the cabinets?”

Ethan crawled onto his lap, stood up, and began jumping on his thighs.

Harrison shook his head. He didn’t even have the energy to scold. “Hey, watch those big feet,” he said, lifting the child away from his genitals. “I might need those again.” He put Ethan on the floor. “First, I’m going to clean this up and then I’m going to get you ready for day care.”

The doorbell rang. Harrison rose, picked Ethan up, and carried him like a football to the front door.

Ethan giggled, obviously enjoying the attention.

Angel stood on the other side dressed and ready to go to work. In her hand she carried a home baked coffee cake. “I thought you and the fellows might enjoy this while you paint,” she said.

Harrison stepped back and allowed her to enter.

Ethan tried to get at her.

“No,” Harrison said. “You’re punished. No love from the neighbor lady.”

“Why is he punished?” Angel asked.

“He destroyed the kitchen.”

Angel ignored him and proceeded toward the kitchen with the coffee cake. She stopped in the doorway. “What happened to the cabinet locks I had on the list?”

Harrison shrugged. “The hardware store was out of them. But I will be their first customer this morning when they open.” He righted Ethan in his arms and Ethan kissed him on the cheek.

“That is so sweet,” Angel said, maneuvering herself around the pots. She put the cake on the counter and walked back to the door.

“Normally I would love the affection, but he’s trying to bribe me, and he knows it. He’s been very affectionate lately and damn clever. He moved the chair up to the television, turned it on, and put it on the cartoon channel.”

Angel sighed. “I’m sorry to have to tell you this, but you might have an exceptionally gifted child on your hands. Maybe you should have him tested.”

“I was thinking more in the realm of sending him off to baby boot camp, or maybe a good reform school. Or I could try booby-trapping the house so he can’t get past his bedroom.”

Angel kissed Ethan on the head. “Don’t pay any attention to Daddy’s threats. I’ll see you at school.” She waved goodbye to them.

“Hey, what about me? Don’t I get a kiss?” Harrison asked.

Angel blew him a kiss from the door and left them standing in the kitchen door.

“Mama kiss,” Ethan said.

Harrison looked down at Ethan. “Do you know what you just said?” He’d made an almost complete logical sentence after seeing Angel blow the kiss. Maybe she had a point about his intelligence. “Let’s clean up this mess,” he said. “We can discuss your punishment later.”

“I think I’m going to marry her if you don’t,” Everett said after he ate his second piece of pecan coffee cake.

“You’re already married,” Harrison reminded him.

“I will divorce her ass for coffee cake,” Everett said.

Harrison chuckled. “You would not.”

Jeb has ducked out early to take his pregnant wife to her doctor’s appointment and to check on their stores. But he did manage to take a piece of cake out of the door with him.

They had finally completed the painting, all the other repairs had been done, and they had been busy all day answering phones and signing up students. So far he had hired on two other teachers, both ex-Marines who were black belts. He hadn’t planned on hiring Marines, but it had just worked out that way.

Everett had signed up his son Tyrone and had ordered his karate outfit.

“I’m thinking about taking a couple of classes myself,” Everett answered. “It’s been years since I’ve trained and I’m getting rusty.”

“Glad to have you,” Harrison said. “Frank, Bill and I will be performing a demonstration on Friday at seven to bring in more students, so you’re welcome to stop by.”

“Did you invite Angel?”

Harrison nodded. “She said she might stop by if she’s not busy. What will she be busy doing?”

“She might still be a little skittish after what she went through with Henry,” Everett said.

Harrison scratched his head. “I hadn’t thought of that. Martial arts can get a bit rough. Maybe I should ask her not to come, or tell her that she can leave if it gets to be too much for her.”
