Later, Tyler wandered through the festively decorated quad, taking the candy cane-lined path down the hill to the bus stop. He was in a daze. A total and complete daze. Several times he picked up his phone, checked the time, looked at texts, dropped his hand back without remembering what he’d seen.

When he reached his apartment, he found the place empty. His roommate Crowley was at violin practice, and he had the whole space to himself, which definitely wasn’t what he needed just then. He needed kind, rational Crowley to help him get his head on straight. Had Tyler Lang really agreed to a date… with a
