“Donny, this is my stepsister, Lisa,” Jake said.

“Hi,” she said. “good to meet you.”

“Likewise,” Donny said with an approving look in his eyes.

Jake punched him in the shoulder, hard. “Watch yourself,” he said.

Donny winced at the punch but laughed.

He started talking to Jake about fighting. Lisa could tell Jake wanted out of the conversation but was unable to find a polite way out.

She said her goodbyes and left the two of them talking shop as she walked out of the gym.

Her mind was buzzing. A man who just the other day she thought was the biggest douchebag on two feet had helped her. He had shown her some kindness. When your stepsister is as hot as you are. Had he said that? That she was hot? And for the first time since she had met him he called her his stepsister. Did that mean...and was he about to kiss her before that guy walked into the gym?

She couldn’t deny, it. Jake had a certain charm.

She also couldn’t help notice as she walked to her car that she was walking just a little bit taller.

Chapter 6

Dish

“He was...amazing,” Lisa said.

Janis immediately sat on the bed and gave Lisa her full attention. “Tell me.”

Lisa chuckled, “Look, it was no big deal but–”

“Girl, don’t give me that shit. Dish. I want it all. Tell me,” Janis said.

“Well, for starters, he got...hard,” Lisa said, blushing.

Janis’ eyes popped out of her head. “He did not!”

“Yes, he did,” Lisa said. “At least, I think he did. I mean, I felt something...there. And he seemed pretty embarrassed by it. So, yeah, um, I think so.”

“Oh my god,” Janis said as she put her hands to her mouth. “Was it...you know...impressive.”

“Oh god Janis, you’re terrible,” Lisa said as she pretended the question was beneath her. “Yes!”

They both erupted in giggles, but Janis wasn’t done. “More, tell me more.”

“Well, he actually did teach me something. I choked him unconscious.”

“Wait. You mean, like, out...cold?” Janis said.

“Yeah, he was out. I mean, what he showed me was the real deal. I think I could actually use that.”

“That’s crazy. How does it work?” Janis said, interested, for the first time, in a detail about something other than Jake.

“You wrap your legs around their head and squeeze. I have to say,” Lisa said, unsure whether she wanted to admit it, “it was...kind of hot.”

“Oh my god, you want your brother.”

“I do not.”

“Oh yes, you do. You’re hot for your brother.”

“No! It’s not...I mean...first of all, he’s not my brother. He’s my stepbrother. And, whatever. I hardly know him. It’s not like we grew up together.”

“Oh, god. That’s so hot. You’re going to try to do your stepbrother aren’t you. You dirty little–”

“Janis, stop. I’m not doing anyone. I just said...you know...it was kind of hot. I mean, like, his face was...” she motioned between her legs, “like, right here.”

“Girl, I’m teasing. You better get him in bed! That man is fucking hot, and I want all the details!”

Lisa considered it for a moment. “He is, isn’t he. I mean, it’s not just me, right?”

“Just you? What the fuck are you talking about? Did you not see how everyone in the store was looking at him when we ran into him? Like, how every woman working there had a reason to come adjust clothes on racks where he just happened to be? Lisa, that man is Grade A, Prime, Hunk of Man, and if you don’t find a way to fuck his brains out, I definitely will!”

“He texted me this morning,” Lisa said with a smile. She looked at her phone to get the exact wording. “He said I need another session tonight to ‘drill the position.’”

“Drill the...what the fuck? Lisa, drill the position! Hon, he’s going to drill you!”

Lisa laughed. “Don’t be stupid. He’s a professional. He just wants to make sure I understood it. You know, internalize it.”

“Yeah, internal. There’ll be something internal I guar-own-tee you that!” Janis said as she  laughed and jumped off the bed. She started making grinding motions with her hips. “Oh, Jake. Like this,” she said in a fake, high-pitched voice. She was thrusting her hips in a motion that simulated sex, “Am I doing it right, Jake.”

Lisa just shook her head and repressed a laugh. “You’re the worst! I’m done with you.”

“Jake, but it’s so hard, are you sure I can take it,” Janis continued in the high voice as she thrust her hips.

Lisa finally let out a laugh and Janis laughed with her.

“Okay, okay,” Lisa said. “But hey, maybe something you can help me with. He said I need to wear, like, spandex or something. Something that’s clingy, so it doesn’t come off when we grapple.”

“Clingy? Girl, you think he cares about your grappling? Oh my god, it’s so obvious. He wants to see your bod!”

“No, I think he’s serious,” Lisa insisted. “I looked online. All the women’s grappling clothes are tight and stretchy.”

“Uh huh,” Janis said, feigning agreement.

“I’m serious!” Lisa said. “Whatever, do you have something I can borrow? I mean, something other than my baggy sweat pants?”

Janis looked Lisa up and down and a devilish grin broke across her face. “Girl, I have just the thing.”

Chapter 7

Arm Bar

Lisa walked into the gym. She had been looking forward to her second session with Jake all day. Yes, the guy was an insufferable egomaniac. He probably spent most of the day checking his muscles out in the mirror, but she was falling for him. And when they were alone he seemed more...real. He also had a kind side. If he weren’t her stepbrother Lisa could actually imagine a future with him.

Who was she kidding? He was her stepbrother. There was no future there.

She walked into the gym feeling a little more at home this time than she did last time. She was still a little self-conscious in the outfit Janis had picked out for her. Black spandex tights down to her calves hugged the curves of her rear and legs. The top was a black strappy sports bra that also accentuated her every curve. Lisa had never worn anything like it in her life. Still, when she looked in the mirror she had to admit, she looked pretty darn good.

They walked through the gym back to the area with the grappling mats. Again it seemed they had the place to themselves. Jake said he thought meeting at night would be less intimidating for her. There were fewer people around. He was right. If there had been twenty muscle-bound jocks she had to walk past it would have been much harder for her.

It was yet another example of how thoughtful Jake could be.

As she neared the grappling mats she saw Jake doing tumbling drills. His agility never ceased to surprise her. He darted and rolled and spun on the mats like a man half his size. It made Lisa sorry for the man that had to tangle with him in a cage.

“Hi, Jake,” she said as she neared him.

He looked up from the mats and smiled a thousand-watt smiled that for a brief moment made Lisa want to turn and run.

“You came,” he said. “I was beginning to wonder if you would show.”

Lisa checked the time on her phone. She was three minutes early.

“I’m early,” she said.

“Huh. Feels like I have been waiting forever,” he said as he shrugged his shoulders. “Anyway, you look...that outfit is much better. I mean, it’ll stay on better if we’re rolling hard.”

Lisa was assaulted by a vision of rolling hard with Jake between soft bed sheets.

She knelt on the mats beside him. “What...what are you going to teach me today?” she asked, trying not to sound too eager.

He brushed his hair back with a hand, “Well, I was thinking about that. You’ve got a great guard and a killer triangle choke from guard. I was thinking maybe I could show you another option from your guard. It’s a joint lock called an arm bar. Have you ever seen the Women’s Bantamweight champion? It’s her signature move and if done right you can pop a man’s arm like a wing on a Thanksgiving turkey.”

Lisa dimly recalled hearing about her. A woman had blown through her division setting all kinds of records. Still, the thought of breaking another person’s arm just didn’t sit right with her. “That’s gross,” she said.

“Well, it might not be so gross if you’re saving your own life with it,” Jake said. “Anyway, before we do that, I wanted to show you how someone might attack you and some things you can do to recover. Stand up,” he said as he stood up.

Lisa stood up with him.

“Ok, first, we gotta get those glasses off. Don’t want to break them,” he said as he again reached for her glasses.

Lisa closed her eyes as he reached up to her face. It felt as if his hands cradled her face for a split second and she opened her eyes.

He reached for the frames and pulled them off her face. Was he touching her on purpose?

He folded the glasses and sat them aside.

“Um, this too,” he said as he reached behind her and grabbed the clip that held up her messy bun. “Yeah, this will hurt if you come down hard on that. Um, here, I can’t quite see...”

He pulled her to him almost burying her face in his muscular chest as he looked over her shoulder to see what he was doing. She felt him fumble with the clip and run his fingers through her hair. God, it felt good. He let her hair down and it cascaded over her shoulders.

She inhaled, smelling his soapy clean scent. His fingers danced through her hair as he teased out a tangle. She closed her eyes and let out a soft sigh.

“Do what?” he said.

Lisa startled back to awareness. “Oh, nu-nothing,” she said. Had she made a sound?

Lisa’s heart was thumping in her chest. Could he hear it? Could he see it somehow? It made her feel self-conscious, but she couldn’t help it. She also couldn’t help the response that was happening between her thighs.

“Turn around,” Jake said as he tossed the hair clip aside.

She turned and Jake came up behind her pressing his body up against hers. He wrapped his massive arms around her. He crushed her breasts under his muscular forearms and squeezed her tight. The sudden friction on her nipples sent a shiver to her core and she felt them harden in response. Could he feel that?

He seemed to be moving his arms slightly as he loosened and tightened his grip, or was she imagining it? She wasn’t sure, but it felt amazing, and it had been...so long.

Jake tucked his face into the side of her neck and took a deep breath. Did he just sniff her hair? Lisa angled her neck to give him more access, but as soon as she exposed her neck, he seemed to pull back.

“Okay,” he said. “A guy grabs you from behind. What do you do?” He tightened his squeeze and again the friction on her nipples gave her shivers.

“I...I don’t know,” she managed to say as she fought to stay concentrated on his lesson. His voice was soft and deep in her ear. His breath was warm on her neck. His arms rubbed her breasts. She felt a complete and total feeling of powerlessness in his grasp. It all seemed to conspire against her., turning her brain to jelly.

“I guess...I don’t know, you tell me,” she said as she relaxed and melted in his arms, giving herself to him.

“Spread your legs,” he ordered.

She did it. It felt right to do as he said, to be his unthinking servant and follow his orders.

“Good,” he whispered into her ear. “That lowers your base. Makes it harder for me to control you. Spread them wider.”

She opened her legs more, lowering her body even more.

“That’s good, Lisa,” he said as he pressed his body into her from behind. He adjusted his arms and this time Lisa was sure she felt his hand graze a breast. She gasped as the touch and his hand darted away. Had the touch been intentional?

“You see how my legs are between your legs now? If you reach down and grab an ankle you can pull it up between your legs and get me off balance.”

“I’m not strong enough,” she said.

“Yes you are,” he whispered back. “You can do it.”

Lisa bent down and grabbed his tattooed ankle. She tugged but the ankle didn't budge.

“You have to explode, Lisa. Explode!” he ordered.

Lisa put her back into it and pulled with everything she had. His leg jerked off the mat and she felt his weight totter behind her. He released his grip on her and fell backward to the mat with a loud thud.
