“Are you okay?” His voice rumbled in her ear, deep and husky.

“Oh, yes,” she moaned. “Oh, God, baby.” She arched back and shoved herself farther onto his cock. He pulled partway out and then buried himself inside her again, making her gasp with pleasure.

“Harder,” she said to encourage him.

“I don’t want to hurt you.” His breath grew ragged. He licked her shoulder, her neck.

“You won’t. Don’t stop. You feel so good.” Over and over, his hips pounded with solid, rhythmic strokes. The head of his penis ground across her G-spot. His cock swelled with each penetration, and his animalistic pants and growls inflamed her more. She answered him with her own cries of unbridled pleasure.

He reached around her hips to pet the slick folds that sheathed him. His fingers found her clit and circled it. She moaned, and he plunged deeper, thrust harder. She arched to meet each possessive thrust. Waves of pleasure flooded her, and her rhythmic convulsions increased. He stroked her nub and took her over the edge with a blood-rushing climax.

A proprietary howl ripped through him, and with a final convulsive thrust, he pulled her back against him and drove deep, locking himself inside her and sinking his teeth in the soft flesh of her neck. The bite ignited fireworks, and a feeling of ecstasy claimed her again. The dizzying explosion of feeling drew a scream from her throat.

His strong arms held her steady until her body stilled and her thoughts became coherent again. He’d taken her higher than ever, and she felt an intimacy she’d never experienced before, a connection that bridged their cultural divide.

Boneless in his arms, she would have fallen on her face, but he held her to his chest. The throbbing in her neck abated as he ran his tongue over the sensitive spot.

“I love you.” he whispered as he rolled them over to their sides.

She loved this new closeness, the feel of his sweat-soaked body wrapped around hers. “I love you too.” She shifted position in his arms.

“What’s wrong?”

“Nothing, baby. Everything’s right, but I think you woke Malcolm.” She pulled his hand over her belly so he could feel the little kicks.

“Malcolm?” He turned her so he could see her face. “When did you decide on a name?”

“Weeks ago. I decided his name should be Malcolm Ian after his father and my father.”

“Even though I wasn’t around?”

“Especially since you weren’t around. He needs a father. I would have made sure he knew he had one.”

“I’ll always be here for him.” He pulled her close. “And you. You’re mine now.” He sounded fiercely possessive, and a rush of love exploded inside her.

“I was always yours,” she murmured, stroking his face. The intensity of her feelings overwhelmed her. “I love you. Do you know how long I’ve waited to say those words? How many times I prayed you would say them to me?”

“I’ve been so stupid.”

“Yes, you were.” She kissed him. “I love you anyway.”

“I love you more.” He groaned with pleasure and rubbed her back.

Utterly content in his embrace, she vowed nothing would separate them again.

“Malcolm?”

“Hmm?”

“The baby is so big. If I carry him for nine months, I’ll set a record for the biggest newborn in history.”

He let out a self-satisfied chuckle. “Our babies grow fast. The women only carry them for seven months. He pulled the blanket over them. “Shit. That doesn’t give me much time to make a nursery.”

“In Black Wolf?”

“Wherever you want, but I’m not sure the city is the best place for him. Think about it. We’ll stay here until you’re ready to make a decision.”

“Can we get married?”

“Sweetheart, we
are
married.” He licked the bite on her neck. “But we’ll do it your way too.”

“Promise?”

“Promise.”
