About the Author

Kerron Streater
was born in Queens, New York in April of 1987. He was raised in
the suburban environment of Kernersville,
North Carolina, and graduated
with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performing Arts from the Savannah College of
Art and Design in 2009.

He's come full
circle, now living in Brooklyn,
New York, where he pursues both
writing and acting careers.

This is his first
published work.

Acknowledgements

I've
never written an acknowledgements section before, so bear with me. There are
tons of people that need thanking, whether it be for suggesting a name, or planting
an idea in my head. I find it hard to believe any work of art is the creation
of the artist alone, we are all products of our environment and our creations
reflect that.

First
and foremost I would like to thank my mother and sister, Cynthia and Ronai Streater,
who, almost daily, push me to be an honest and hard working individual. I love
you both.

I
would also like to thank my friends Tiara and Joshua Maye, Jo Arellanes, and
Stephanie Ward, for their constructive critiques, and for helping to correct my
many spelling and grammatical errors. As well as my friend Alex Miller, who
certainly deserves praise for his amazing cover design. This book would
certainly be lacking if it weren't for all their efforts. Many thanks to you
all.

I'd
also like to thank anyone who has ever believed in me, aunts and uncles,
cousins, friends, teachers old and new, mentors, co-workers, and innumerable
strangers. Writing this book has been a very awkward process with many false
stops. I can't recall how many times I've told people I was "almost
done," and I honestly believed I was.
