Nykin’s arm was starting to ache, but he was determined not to let his injuries ruin this. He leaned in close so his mouth was right next to Ryneq’s ear. “Come for me, Ryneq.” Nykin tightened his grip a little more, feeling Ryneq’s dick pulse as he got nearer to the edge. “I want to see.”

Ryneq’s whole body tensed. Nykin quickly shifted back to watch, his hand drawing out every last drop as Ryneq spilled all over his belly. Nykin hadn’t seen anything that hot before, and he let go of Ryneq to wrap his hand around his own neglected length, almost painfully hard by now.

“No,” Ryneq growled and pushed Nykin’s hand away. He eased Nykin onto his back and shifted down the bed to settle between Nykin’s legs. He looked up at Nykin and grinned. “It’s my turn.”

Nykin moaned loudly when Ryneq licked at the head of his cock. His breath caught as Ryneq slowly sucked him into his mouth and the delicious, wet heat surrounded him inch by inch. Nykin’s arm throbbed a little, and his back ached where it pressed into the bed. But the sight of his king with his lips stretched wide around Nykin’s cock was more than enough to distract him from everything apart from the growing tension in the pit of his stomach. He felt it build with each slide of Ryneq’s lips and every swipe of his tongue. It curled up and along his spine, getting stronger and stronger until Nykin couldn’t hold it back any longer. He buried his fingers in Ryneq’s thick hair, fingernails digging in as he cried out. Waves of pleasure wracked his body, and the niggling pain in his side was forgotten as Nykin’s release pulsed out of him and Ryneq swallowed it all.

After a few moments, when Nykin had recovered enough to move, he tugged on Ryneq’s hair and urged him back up the bed to lie beside him.

They stayed like that for a long time—Ryneq’s head resting on Nykin’s shoulder—both of them breathing heavily in the silence of the room. Finally, Ryneq extricated himself from Nykin’s arms and fetched a cloth to clean himself up. He tossed it onto the floor before settling back down and resting his hand possessively on Nykin’s hip, tracing absent patterns over the skin.

Nykin reached down to place his hand on top of Ryneq’s and caught sight of his mark. He stared for a moment or two at the rider’s sigil on his wrist. Being without it had been like losing a part of himself, and Nykin hoped he’d never have to do that ever again. His hair would take a lot longer to get back, and Nykin smiled ruefully as he ran his fingers over his short locks.

“What?” Ryneq propped himself up on one elbow and peered down at him.

“I was just thinking. I have my mark back, but my hair….” Nykin waved a hand near his head as if to illustrate his point.

Ryneq grinned, moving to rub his fingers over Nykin’s head and scratch softly at his scalp. “I like it.”

Nykin rolled his eyes and pulled Ryneq down for a quick kiss. “So, what happens now?” He mumbled the words against Ryneq’s lips, sighing and closing his eyes as Ryneq started to leave soft, wet kisses along Nykin’s jaw.

“Well, I have at least one spy to flush out… a wedding to attend….” He bit the tender skin behind Nykin’s ear, making him gasp. “But right now?” Ryneq shifted until he was flush against Nykin’s side with his arm wrapped securely around Nykin’s waist. “Just this.”
