Patricia Westerhof was born to Dutch Canadian parents, and spent parts of her childhood in Holland and in rural Alberta. Her Dutch roots and memories of these places are the inspiration behind
Catch Me When I Fall
, her first book-length work of fiction. Her short stories have been published in
