“Liv, what’s wrong?”

Liv dabbed at her eyes. “It’s nothing…”

Melanie came over and rubbed her arms. “Doesn’t look like nothing.”

Liv looked at the other witch sheepishly. “I think it’s just my hormones blowing things out of proportion. I wanted Alec to dance with me and he wouldn’t… that’s it.”

Melanie snickered. “I’m sorry, but yeah, I think it might be your hormones. Alec really doesn’t strike me as the dancing type.”

Liv huffed.
What does she know?
Standing there in her tight black dress, with her skinny perfect body and lovely caramel skin…
Okay, so now all Liv felt was jealousy.

Liv exhaled deeply. “I’m overreacting, I know. I just wanted him to want to dance with me. I don’t want to have to try and force him to do things with me.”

Melanie snorted. “Yeah, good luck with that. I also want my mate to want to spend time with his family, and want to not threaten every guy who comes into Pizza Moon because he’s convinced they’re trying to hit on me. He’s never going to want to do those things, but he does them anyway for me.”

Considering Melanie was mated to Hans Lucas, the most cantankerous wolf in the pack, it was a testament to how he felt about Melanie that he even considered doing those things.

Liv smiled weakly. “Yeah, I guess you’re right. I’m glad I rushed in here before Alec could see me cry. I didn’t want him to think I was crying to try and manipulate him into dancing. Thanks.”

Liv approached the mirrors and inspected her light dusting of make-up. In the reflection she noticed Melanie shifting from foot to foot impatiently. “Everything okay?”

Melanie licked her lips. “I was coming in here to take my underwear off. I was going to go out and give them to Hans,” she blurted. “You know to show him that I wanted to… ummm… well you know.”

Liv felt heat suffuse her face. She couldn’t imagine ever doing that.
Would Alec be shocked if she did?
“Oh, well, I’ll leave you to it.”

Liv left quickly. She could see Melanie was a little flushed, but in truth the Latina witch was trying not to laugh. Coming out, she slammed straight into her hovering mate. Alec immediately wrapped his arms round her waist. She looked up at him with moist eyes and smiled.

His wolf stilled
. “You’ve been crying.”

“It’s just my hormones. They’re all over the place.”

Alec ran a thumb down her cheek. “I’m sorry I wouldn’t dance with you angel.”

Liv shook her head. “It doesn’t matter…”

“Yes it does. All you wanted was one dance, and I was being an ass. I was just worried about looking like an idiot. I, uh, I can’t dance.”

Liv’s face lit up in mirth. “Oh Alec! Why didn’t you just say something?”

Alec shrugged and looked at her sheepishly. “Manly pride. But it doesn’t matter, I don’t care about that. I only care about you. I don’t want to ever regret not doing things with you.”

“Oh! Hi guys.” Melanie came out the bathroom and sashayed past them in search of Hans. Liv noticed she was clutching something in one of her fists.

Alec pressed a kiss to her forehead. “How about we go have that dance?”

Liv bit her lip watching Melanie’s progress towards Hans. Heat suffused her body. “You know, actually, dancing doesn’t seem all that important now.”

She took his hand and pulled him back into the ladies bathroom. His cheeks pinkened, and he tried to protest as Liv locked the door. Alec watched in wonder as Liv shimmied out of her panties and pushed them into his jacket pocket before attacking his pants. Before he could object, she had his cock free and was stroking him to life.
His wolf was howling in delight at this turn of events
.

“Liv, I…”

“No regrets, right?” She looked at him with sparkling eyes and licked her lips.

Liv moved to kneel in front of him, but he groaned lustily, and hurled her up against him, eagerly seeking her lips. She raked her fingers through his hair as she hungrily devoured his mouth.

Alec carried her over to the counter, and, breaking the kiss, he carefully laid her down and hiked up her dress to her waist. She squealed excitedly as he pulled her to the end of the table so her ass was on the edge. He lifted her legs up to rest on his shoulders and smoothed his hands down her creamy skin.

Alec positioned himself at her soaked entrance and looked down on his beautiful mate affectionately. Vaguely, he was aware that perhaps they shouldn’t be doing this,
at his Alpha’s wedding reception, in a ladies bathroom…
But he couldn’t have stopped himself even if he wanted to. His wolf was pushing him to take his mate and there was no way he was going to argue.

He grasped her hips and slowly pushed inside, groaning at how wonderfully tight she felt around him. She moaned as he filled her and clutched the edge of the table. He rested for a few moments enjoying the erotic thrill he always felt at being joined so intimately with the woman he loved. Growing impatient, Liv contracted her muscles around him.

Alec let out a low, disapproving growl that made her giggle, the vibrations coursing through his body. Unable to hold back, he pulled out and thrust into her. He set a hard and fast rhythm. Spurred on by her eagerness and the fear of being caught, he knew he couldn’t last long.

Liv panted as he drove himself relentlessly inside her, the wonderful burning need for release spread throughout her. She looked into his lust drenched amber eyes, at his rugged handsome face, and, overpowered by her love, her orgasm gushed through her body. She slapped a hand over her mouth to stop herself from screaming out loud.

The pleasure soaring through their bond, and the deep, sensual massage her clutching body afforded him, were too much. With a final plunge he swelled and exploded within. As his wolf roared his satisfaction, Alec strained with the effort of not doing the same. Instead he focused on their shared feelings of love and satisfaction, and the exquisite feel of her body pulsating around his softening manhood.

His flushed little mate beamed at him, and he felt his excitement begin to rise again…

Bang! Bang! Bang!

“What the heck is going on in there?” an irate voice called out through the door.

While his mate snickered, Alec quickly tucked himself back in his pants and cleaned her with some paper towels. The downside to having sex in public, Alec thought wryly.
Not that he’d ever done it before
. He lifted her off the table, and, with a quick kiss, Liv led him outside.

Carrie stared at the disheveled pair incredulously.

“Hi Carrie, how lovely to see you again. Bathroom’s all yours,” said Liv with fake sweetness, as she confidently strode past the gaping woman.

Alec grunted and allowed his little mate to pull him with her. As she moved towards their seats, he tugged on her hands and guided her onto the dance floor.

Liv looked at him a little sheepishly. “You don’t have to do this. I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have pushed you into dancing. I was being selfish.”

“No, angel, I was. You weren’t asking for much.”

Liv tried to tow him away from the other dancers.
Without much success
. “But I shouldn’t force you to do something you’re uncomfortable with…”

“So what if I’m uncomfortable? I’ll get over it. It’s no big deal.”

“But…”

Alec shook his head and wrapping his arms round her began swaying with the music. “Let’s just say we’re both selfish jerks and leave it at that.”

Liv nuzzled into his warm, hard chest. “Well, alright then, as long as we’re in agreement. But just this one dance, okay?”

Alec’s thoughts swung to the panties burning a hole in his pocket. “Just one angel. I don’t want to tire you out. There are so many other things I’d rather do to get you tired.”

Liv’s fingers clutched at his shirt. “Oh?” she asked innocently.

“Yeah, I really think we should investigate the rest of this building, who knows what other rooms we may find.”

Liv trembled slightly in his grip. “Screw dancing, let’s go exploring!”

With that, his little mate grabbed his hand and dragged him away, wiggling her hips. His wolf roared in happiness.
If that determined look in her sweet face was anything to go by, he was in for a long night
.

Terri & Mal – A Family Christmas

23
rd
December

Terri Tanner yawned. She turned her head away from her mate, hoping he wouldn’t notice.
Fat chance
. He noticed everything she was trying to hide, while missing everything she wanted him to see. He was infuriating that way, yet she found herself besotted with him.

“Hey, you okay, baby?” Mal Tanner stroked her cheek, worry lacing his voice.

She turned back to him and smiled.
God he was gorgeous
. Mal didn’t own a suit, so instead she had settled on dressing him in a pair of smart slacks, a white shirt and blue tie.
Left to his own devices, he would have turned up in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt; it would have been a toss-up as to whether they would have rips in them, too.

Mal was 19-years-old. In some ways, he seemed older than his years, in others, not so much. He was much more responsible than when they first met, but he hadn’t lost his childlike zeal.
In truth, she hoped he never did.

He’d spent the entire night tugging on his tie. If it weren’t for the fact that he was six-foot-six tall, with a set of very impressive muscles, she would swear that he was a 9-year-old boy. He raked his massive hand through his wavy blonde hair and pouted his full lips.
Oh, the things she wanted those lips to do to her...

Terri was just shy of being four months pregnant, and she was horny as hell. Unfortunately, she was also suffering from sporadic pregnancy sickness.
No scratch that, she was suffering from horrific, sporadic pregnancy sickness.
The kind that had her waking up to retch at 3am that morning, and left her shaking and sobbing so hard she couldn’t get back to sleep.

Mal was a wolf shifter, and Terri was human. Humans, when carrying shifter babies, suffered from varying degrees of illness, and hers just seemed to be a lot worse than others.

She smiled at him and placed her hand over his. “I’m fine, sunshine.”

He growled lightly at her as his wolf prowled in his mind.
Their mate was not fine; she was tired and weak from lack of sleep, and not being able to keep her food down.

His wolf howled at him for not taking better care of her. They should have stayed home, where he could wait on her hand and foot. This whole wedding was draining what little energy she had left.

“We shouldn’t have come...”

Terri rolled her eyes.
He was such a worrywart
. “I told you a thousand times; there was no way I was going to miss the wedding.”

Mal pursed his lips. He wanted to be annoyed at her, but she looked too damn good. She was wearing a dark green silk dress, patterned with pink and purple flowers. It was modestly cut with cap sleeves, full skirt and showed just the hint of cleavage. Which, in Mal’s opinion, was far too much. Her breasts had gotten bigger over the last few months, and he couldn’t help but notice the attention they garnered.
No one should be looking at her, except for him, of course.

He placed his hand over her stomach possessively; she only had a small bump so far, but seeing it made him inordinately proud.

She had donned ballet style flat pumps. Her feet were always aching, making heels unbearable. Giving her foot rubs had become a regular occurrence,
the fact that they turned her on was also a bonus
. Flats made her five-foot-four frame seem tiny next to him.
In truth, he loved it.

Terri yawned again. More forcibly this time. His wolf was now snarling at him, almost forcing the shift. Mal held onto himself tightly, willing the wolf to back down.

“You’re clearly tired baby...”

Not surprising either. After waking in the early hours of the morning, she had spent a good hour doubled over the toilet, hurling until she had no more food left in her, and then hurling yellow bile. He had of course been there with her, mopping her brow, holding her hair and rubbing her back. But he felt guilty that he couldn’t do more than try to soothe her.

She had looked so small and pale he could have cried. When they went back to bed, she was shaking so badly she couldn’t sleep, so instead, they had sat up together all night. The lack of sleep didn’t bother him so much; in general shifters could manage on very little sleep
. But Terri was human. And pregnant. And sick.

Terri watched the couples on the dance floor for a few moments. She snickered at seeing her three brothers-in-law terrorizing and delighting three young female wolves in equal measure.
All the Tanner boys were part infuriating and part desirable.

Kayleigh and Don Cross were impressive as they shimmied across the floor, while Mac and Andy Harper clung to each other as they slow danced. Terri blushed as she noticed Kira Norton and Gabe North had given up dancing entirely to make out.

Terri turned back to her mate, the look of concern and disapproval marring his lovely face. “Alright, let’s go home.”

Mal raised his eyebrows in surprise. “Really?”
Was she actually giving in so easily?

“Well, I am a little tired...”

Mal chuckled before giving her a deep, sensual kiss. Despite her exhaustion, she felt every nerve ending tingle with awareness. He stood up pulling her with him and began leading her to the exit.

She tugged on his hand. “Wait, we should at least say goodbye to the Alpha.”

Ignoring his grumbles, Terri pulled him over to the newly married Alpha couple, Adam and Rosalee. They were at the head table with the pack Beta, Alec and his mate, Liv. Liv was also pregnant, just a couple of weeks behind Terri. But while Terri was tired and wan, Liv looked radiant.
Terri found it exceedingly annoying.

Terri and Mal offered their congratulations. Rosalee got up and hugged Terri.

“Any news on the sex of the baby yet?” asked the female Alpha excitedly.

“Oh no, not yet, soon though.”

“How about names?”

Terri looked at Mal, and he groaned. “Well, my mother wants me to name the baby after my grandfather if it’s a boy.”

“Oh? What’s that then?”

“Wang.”

“We won’t be doing that,” said Mal.

Terri rolled her eyes. “It’s a perfectly respectable name.”

Mal folded his arms. “Wang Tanner? Nuh-uh, no way.”

“We’re still thinking about it,” Terri told Rosalee.

They said their goodbyes and soon Mal was bundling his mate into his SUV and speeding home. They were living with his parents and three younger brothers. It wasn’t ideal, but it was temporary while they built their house next door.

Mal cut his eyes to his mate as he drove; she was dozing. He stroked a finger down her cheek, and she smiled weakly.

“The wedding was lovely, wasn’t it?” she murmured.

“Yeah, sure if you like that sort of thing.” Putting on a tie and listening to boring speeches didn’t exactly thrill him. He’d much rather be at home snuggled up with his mate, but at least she had enjoyed herself.
That was what mattered
.

A thought occurred to him. “Do you wish we’d got married, baby?”

They had bonded, so the two of them had already wed, at least in the eyes of shifters. Some shifters still insisted on going through with the ceremony, but most didn’t. No one in his family ever had, but then Terri was the first human mate in his family. He’d been pleased when Terri legally changed her last name to his, but they had not officially married in the eyes of the law.

“No, I’m more than happy with the way things are. I wouldn’t change a thing.”

His wolf preened at her answer. He certainly wouldn’t change a thing about Terri either. At first she had worried over their age difference, she was nine years older than him, but he never cared about that. To him, she was perfect.
He might however change their living arrangements…
His pervy younger brothers delighted in catching Terri getting changed and were pretty noisy, often waking her from much-needed naps. Not that she complained; she was far too sweet for that.
His perfect, sweet, mate…

Arriving at home, he parked and found Terri had fallen asleep. Carefully, he carried her upstairs, undressed her, laid her in bed and curled up next to her. His wolf whimpered at how lovely she was, and he fell into a deep, contented sleep.

Terri blinked awake to find her mate lying next to her, propped on his elbow and stroking her slightly swollen belly.

“Morning, baby,” he purred.

“Hmmmm what time is it?”

“Just gone 10.”

Terri grinned. “Wow, I made it through the whole night without having to get up! This calls for a celebration.”

Eagerly she pushed her mate down on the bed and rolled on top of him, straddling him, so her sex brushed against his. Mal growled lustily. It was hard to pick a favorite, sex with Terri was always amazing, but if he had to, he would say he liked this position the best. It afforded the best view of her breasts.

Terri rocked her hips from side to side making him groan as his manhood strained to be inside her. She reached down and fisted him, smearing the pre-cum down his length. She lifted herself up on her knees and directed him to her waiting entrance and…

The door burst open and Darryl, one of Mal’s brothers, came into the room. Terri yelped, and Mal pulled her down to his chest, quickly pulling the covers up around her.

“What the fuck?” roared Mal as Terri buried her tomato red face in his shoulder.

Darryl snickered when he saw them. “Don’t mind me. Mom wants your TV for the guests’ room.”

Seemingly uncaring as to what they were doing, Darryl unhooked the TV and left, telling them to carry on as he closed the door.

Terri winced as she heard some shouts and bangs echoing throughout the house. Ellie, Mal’s mom, had invited her sister’s family for Christmas. They were due to arrive that afternoon. The household appeared to be in uproar as everyone rushed to get everything ready. Mal’s dad, Hank, told Ellie to relax but the she-wolf had been fretting for days over her sister’s arrival.

The sisters did not get on.
Ellie’s older sister Corinne had married a doctor who belonged to an affluent pack further north. She had a massive house with eight bedrooms; three well behaved children all in college, and drove a Mercedes. Although Ellie was happy with her life, having married her true mate and given birth to four, admittedly unruly, boys, she couldn’t help but be needled by her snobby sister’s put downs. Ellie was determined to make the house as lovely as possible for Corinne’s arrival.

In truth, Terri was a little unsure of what Corrine would make of her. Terri wasn’t a wolf, and she was almost a decade older than Mal. Not to mention she slept with, and got pregnant by, Mal the first day she met him.
She hoped Corinne would be kind to her
.

Terri looked at her mate sheepishly. “Maybe we should have locked the door, let’s save this for later.”

Mal shook his head fiercely. “Nope, why don’t we take this somewhere a little more private?”

Terri squeaked as Mal picked her up and wrapped a blanket round her, maneuvering them out of their bedroom towards the bathroom. Mal didn’t seem bothered by the fact that he was naked, nor did Ellie as she said good morning, bustling past them.

Terri had learned that most wolf shifters were quite blasé about nudity,
unsurprising given how much time they spent stripping off to turn into their wolf forms
. Mal was laid back about his nudity, but he was adamant that no one was allowed to see his mate naked, and she wasn’t allowed to see any man but him naked.
He’d gotten into fights with his brothers numerous times after they were strutting around the house nude, and Terri got an eyeful
.

Mal locked the door behind them and placed her in the shower. He turned the water on and slowly, sensually began soaping up her body, taking his time to massage every inch of her before she did the same to him. She smoothed her fingers over his hard muscles, cooing at his gorgeous body before taking his engorged member between her small hands and stroking him.

Mal growled gutturally and lifted her body up. She wrapped her legs around him and moaned as she felt the fat head touch her wet core and…

Bang bang bang!

“Come on! I need to take a shower! You’ve already been in there thirty minutes,” another of Mal’s brothers, Craig, shouted through the door.

“Use the other shower!” snarled Mal.

“Dad’s in it. Hurry up!”

Terri flipped the water off. “Another time, sunshine.”

Mal grunted in annoyance, willing his erection to go down.
Not easy as he avidly watched Terri drying her luscious, curvy body
. They wrapped towels around themselves and went back to their room.
Mal resisted the urge to punch Craig in his stupid face!

Mal was going to suggest they resumed where they left off when Eric, his third brother, poked his head round the door.
