Tanner’s heart melted
during Aqua’s presence over the next few years. He would spare no effort to
give her whatever she wanted, spoiling her to no end. Despite this, she did not
become arrogant in the slightest. She became a little rebellious at times, but
nothing more.

Tanner always guarded her
from men with ill intentions, but Aqua was never even slightly enticed by them
and didn’t require his protection. This all changed when the child named Regal
appeared in his store and somehow managed to capture his daughter’s heart.

Many things happened after
that fateful day. It could be said to be a beginning, both for the young and
