She complied without hesitation or shyness. His gaze wandered admiringly over her body, and she watched him, her hands moving restlessly over her breasts and torso as if longing for his touch.

“I am going to make you come over and over,” he told her, pulling away the hand that had covered up one of her full, gorgeous breasts. “I love to watch a beautiful woman orgasm. Last time I was a bit distracted and didn’t get to enjoy it. So I will now.”

He climbed slowly onto the bed beside her. She looked surprised and a little disconcerted. “Aren’t you going to get undressed?”

“In time, my dear, but for now it is important that I stay firmly in control and show you some of the benefits of being my submissive.” He chuckled. “Trust me, you’ll enjoy this, and it will help establish in your mind some of what we have been talking about so much lately.”

He laid his hand on her hip, and she moaned as his fingers glided across the flesh of her thigh, circling nearer and nearer the crease between her legs. “Very good, pet, you have shaved yourself nice and clean just as I instructed,” he breathed into her ear.

“Thank you, Sir.” She gasped as the pads of his fingers brushed the top of her mound. Her hips thrust toward his hand, searching for more contact. He smiled, watching her need express itself. The need in his cock was growing also, twitching with every movement of her body. But he controlled himself and concentrated on her. It wasn’t time to satisfy that craving yet.

“In good time, love. My good time—remember that. Your body is here for my enjoyment, to be used as I see fit. Isn’t that right?”

“Yes, Sir,” she whispered, her voice sounding strained. She arched, her head tilting backward, offering herself to him completely.

“Good girl.” His fingers finally swept down and across the cleft between her legs. They came to rest on the lips of her pussy and began to rub in a circle. As he gently increased the pressure of his fingers, her breath rasped in and out in rapid pants. Her head came up, and she looked into his eyes. He watched her intently, gauging her reactions, playing her body perfectly. Little tremors began, building to a crescendo of ecstasy, but just as she was about to explode, he pulled his hand away. Her body shuddered in disappointment, and a moan of frustration escaped her lips.

“You, my love, have forgotten something very important. Haven’t you?” He chuckled evilly when their eyes met again.

“I—what?” she whimpered.

“The same thing you reminded liege of last night. If you want the release you were so close to getting, you should think,” Karl murmured in her ear as his fingers again stroked her heated cunt to the edge and then disappeared.

Writhing in need, she looked into his face, searching for a hint of what he wanted. He refused to give it to her, forcing her to think back on their negotiations. Finally he saw memory spark in her eyes, and she said in a meek voice, “Sir, may I please come?”

He smiled down at her and returned his fingers to her molten center. Her muscles tensed and released, and he watched as she shivered violently, waves of ecstasy washing through her entire body. It was the loveliest sight he’d ever seen, he thought, his cock straining against his jeans in protest against not being allowed to participate. When her thrashing finally subsided and she lay calm again, he let his fingers glide between her labia and settle on the throbbing button of her engorged clit. His stroking led her to one incredible come after another until he lost count of the number of times he brought her over the edge, crashing into oblivion.

Finally, panting through the last vestiges of the latest climax, she begged, “Please, Sir, stop before you kill me.”

“Oh, you won’t die, pet,” Karl said, but he stopped, chuckling at her expression.

“That was amazing,” Allie sighed, her breathing gradually slowing to a more normal rate.

“Good. Rest for a minute and catch your breath. We aren’t done yet.” He gave her a half smile and climbed off of the bed. Allie looked up in surprise.

“Where are you going?”

“I’m not going anywhere, babe.” He turned back to her, a small foil package in his hand. Quickly undressing, he stepped to the edge of the bed and handed the sealed condom to her with a look of pure unadulterated lust. “As soon as you help me with this I am going to fuck the living daylights out of you.”

Allie took the package from him, staring at it as if she hadn’t seen a condom before. With a mischievous grin, she tore it open and popped it into her mouth. Then, crawling to the edge of the bed, she pushed her face into his groin, and her mouth engulfed his manhood. It took a bit of maneuvering, but she managed to get the condom on him as his penis rapidly swelled to fill it.

“That’s an impressive trick,” Karl managed to say, pushing her onto her back and planting his knees between hers. Then, without waiting any longer, he thrust into her wet, warm center.

It was as if the two of them were being fused together, a perfect fit. Even though he had been living in this room for many years, Karl had the feeling that he had finally come home. He pumped into her and she thrust her hips into his until their pelvises met. He looked down at Allie. She was looking at him with an expression of hunger.

“I want to be part of you,” she whispered, pulling him into her as if to bind them together as much as possible. “I can’t get close enough.”

“I know,” he said. There was a kind of urgency overtaking them both, to cement their connection. Finally his orgasm flooded through him, and his body stiffened against hers. She cried out, and they rode a delicious wave of pleasure to climax.

When it was over, they lay curled together, Allie tracing the planes of his chest and stomach and Karl gently caressing her breasts.

“I feel so safe when you’re around,” Allie whispered, resting her head on his shoulder and snuggling closer to him.

He tightened his arm around her and murmured, “We have got to discuss fluid bonding soon. I want to feel you completely.”

“Fluid bonding?” she repeated drowsily.

“Yes. We all need to get tested and negotiate our exclusivity.” His voice was soft and intimate, as if they were still making love rather than discussing sexually transmitted diseases. “It’s not that I don’t trust you, my sweet girl, but now that we are experimenting with polyamory we need to establish the boundaries and make sure we’re all on the same page. What if Brad decides that since you have taken a lover, he will as well? We need to discuss if and how we are going to negotiate new partners, what kind of protection is required, and under what circumstances it wouldn’t be. I will wear a condom until we’ve established what our guidelines for fluid bonding are, but only until then.”

Allie lay quietly for a few minutes. He would have thought she’d gone to sleep, but the tension in her shoulders told him she was worrying about what he’d said. Probably about Jane and Brad, he decided. And it was a valid concern. He knew Jane very well, and she was definitely up to something.

“And now, my dear, much as I would love to lie here all day with you, I think we both need to get back to work.” Karl pushed her gently to the edge of the bed, and she stood up reluctantly.

“Yes, I guess I’d better go get some groceries,” she agreed, searching for her scattered clothes.

Chapter 22

When Allie pulled into the driveway later, there was a bright-red convertible in her spot. Jane was back.

“Great,” Allie muttered, loading herself down with bags and heading in. Didn’t the woman have a job to get back to? There didn’t seem to be any real reason for her to be hanging out here. It wasn’t like she was actually friends with any of them, especially Karl. She seemed to think that something interesting was about to happen and wanted to make sure she was present when it did. Allie shook her head, wondering what Jane could possibly be expecting. If they were going to make the place into a fetish resort, then they still had quite a bit of work ahead of them before they were likely to get any guests. And speaking of guests, she told herself, this time she was going to ask Jane to pay for her time there. Even if Jane considered herself a sort of relative—she almost laughed picturing herself introducing Jane as her stepmother—that didn’t mean she could just freeload on their hospitality forever. If Allie was going to be a legitimate businesswoman, she had to learn to deal with people in a firm and professional manner. This would be good practice for that, she admonished herself sternly.

She dumped the groceries in the kitchen and went to look through the house, determined to have it out with Jane once and for all. At the top of the staircase she heard the murmur of a voice coming from the tea-party room where Jane had been staying. Allie paused, trying to decide whether to leave and come back later or wait, at the risk of seeming like an eavesdropper.

“—when you came to check it out the other day,” she suddenly heard, very clearly, just as she had begun to turn to go back downstairs. She stopped, not caring anymore if she was overhearing something private. She had a feeling this was about the house, and she felt as if she had the right to hear what Jane was saying.

“Yes, I knew it would be perfect,” Jane went on, sounding smug. “I just need to work on it some more. Give me another few days before you come back. This is a delicate situation, and I need to talk to my lawyer.”

Allie’s mind was whirling. “Before you come back”? Was she talking to Charlie? Who else had come to “check it out”? What was the “delicate situation”? She began to edge closer to Jane’s door, not wanting to miss anything.

“Okay,” Jane said. “Send me an e-mail about what rights you’ll need. Hopefully it won’t come to that. I’d much rather do it myself…That’s true. But you never know what’s going to happen. He might be persuaded to help, and I can be pretty convincing when I want to be.”

She chuckled and said good-bye to whoever it was. Allie backtracked in a panic to the staircase, suddenly terrified that Jane was going to catch her. Some assertive businessperson I am, Allie thought in disgust as she tiptoed back downstairs. But she needed to think. If Jane and Charlie were plotting something that had to do with the house, then who did Jane think she could convince to help? Karl? Brad?

Allie went back into the kitchen and started putting food away. She couldn’t believe that Karl would turn against her. He’d stayed to help her out of loyalty to her father—or that’s what he’d said, anyway. But then, Jane had also said basically the same thing. Except that she hadn’t been living here for the last six months helping to remodel the house. Then again, Karl could have been making the same kinds of phone calls from out in the barn where she couldn’t accidentally overhear him. It was too confusing.

Jane came into the room just as Allie was refolding her grocery bags. She looked as if she’d spent the day in a spa. Allie felt incredibly frumpy and plain in comparison to Jane’s sophisticated elegance, but she forced herself to smile as Jane leaned in and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

“Sweetie, how are you?” Jane looked into the fridge and took out a bottle of water. She sat at the kitchen table and regarded Allie with an odd smile.

Allie avoided her eyes for a minute, debating with herself about what to do. If she was going to be a dominant, at least part of the time, she needed to become stronger and more assertive. She needed to know what Jane was up to, especially if it had something to do with lawyers and Allie’s house. She simply couldn’t take chances like that. Jane might refuse to tell her, but she had to try.

She took a deep breath and sat down at the table too. “Jane, I need to know what’s going on here,” she said, folding her hands in front of her and trying to look as serious as she could.

Jane blinked at her. “What do you mean, Allie?”

Okay, it wasn’t going to be easy. She should have known that Jane wouldn’t simply admit what she was up to.

“I heard you on the phone,” Allie said, hoping she didn’t sound apologetic or guilty. “What are you talking to your lawyers about? And what do you need a few more days here to work on?”

If Jane was actually plotting something against Allie, she was a marvelous actress. She leaned forward, a look of concern on her face.

“Oh, honey,” she said quietly. Her expression suggested that she thought Allie was having paranoid delusions and might jump up at any moment and start stabbing people. Her eyes darted to the side as if searching for a handy straightjacket. “That was about a business deal. It had nothing to do with you. Did you think I was plotting against you?”

Her smile looked both sad and amused. Allie half expected her to put a hand on her heart and declare that she was horribly hurt by these malicious accusations.

A blush crept up Allie’s neck as she tried desperately to remember the exact words that Jane had said. “You said that you needed more time here before Charlie came back,” she began, when Jane let out a light laugh.

“You thought I was talking to Charlie? No, no, no. I was talking to my assistant. We’ve had some legal issues with the agency, and I wanted a few more days to try to work out a solution before getting our lawyers involved.”

“But—” Allie stopped, flustered. That wasn’t what she’d heard, but she had a feeling that Jane would distort anything she repeated. She didn’t have a recording, and even if she was positive that Jane had been talking to someone about their having come here, Jane could simply deny it.
