Eventually Kelsey kisses her way back up my
body, resting her head on my shoulder as her fingers trace random patterns on
my chest. My entire body feels like jelly as I wrap an arm around her shoulders
and pull her closer. “Perfect way to wake up,” I tell her.

Kelsey laughs and presses a kiss to my
neck. “What are your plans for the day?”

I let out a deep breath; my eyes opening as
I stare up at the ceiling. “I’m gonna need to call the station, tell them I’m
not coming back today like I thought,” I tell her. “I’m also going to call in a
favor on the phone trace for Jason’s cell and then call Finn and tell him to expect
a call from my partner, Detective Ryan Summers.”

“Thank you, Beck,” Kelsey suddenly says,
her voice quiet.

“For what?”

“For helping Finn out,” she says. “For not
trying to take over.”

I squeeze her shoulder, my eyes still on
the ceiling. “Finn’s a good cop, babe. I do know that. And I know I flew off
the handle last night, but it’s only because I just want to find that fucker,
Kels. I can’t stand the thought of him hurting you, of him being in here. He
should be behind bars.”

Kelsey lets out a deep breath, her arm
wrapping around my waist as she says, “I know, I never should have gotten
involved with him in the first place.”

A flash of anger shoots through me, not
just at the idea of Kelsey with someone else, but also because of what this
fuckhead’s doing to her now. If I hadn’t fucking left her in the first place,
none of this would have happened. Kelsey and I would have stayed together and
Jason wouldn’t even be in the fucking picture.

I swallow hard, forcing the guilt and anger
down. I don’t want to think about that today and I definitely don’t want to get
into another fight about me leaving and her staying.

Last night and this morning were so fucking
amazing, and even though I still have no fucking clue about what happens when
this is all sorted out, I know until it is, I don’t just want to look after
Kelsey, I want to
be
with Kelsey. In
every single way possible.

I take a deep breath and finally turn to
look at her, smiling to let her know that everything will be okay. “As for you
though,” I say, my fingers tucking strands of hair behind her ear. “You’re
going to call that manager of yours and let her know that you won’t be in
today…”

“Beck, no, I can’t do that.”

I kiss her quickly. “Yes, Kels, you can.
You’ve had a shit couple of days.”

“Couple of weeks,” she cuts in.

I exhale, running a hand through my hair.
“Couple of weeks then, which is all the more reason for you to take a day off,
relax and do something fun, without worrying about that fucking asshole and
what he might do next.”

Kelsey looks up at me with her big blue
eyes. “What are you going to do though?” she asks, her voice suddenly sad.

I grin at her now, realizing she doesn’t
understand what I’m getting at. “Well, first I’m gonna suggest we take a shower
together,” I say, running my thumb across her bottom lip. “Then I’m going to
recommend you get your gorgeous ass into a tiny bikini for me, so we can hit
the beach and I can spend the day perving at you and fantasizing about what I’m
going to do to you when we get back.”

Kelsey laughs now and it makes my heart
skip a beat. “Oh, is that right? You don’t want much now, do you?” she says.

I laugh, flipping her on to her back and
pinning her arms above her head, my hands at her wrists as I hover over her.
“Well, there is something else I want,” I tell her.

“Oh yeah,” she says, cocking an eyebrow.
“What’s that?”

I grin at her as I lean in and pull one of
her nipples into my mouth, sucking and biting until she’s squirming beneath me.

“Beck,” she breathes out.

“What, baby?”

“What else do you want?”

I let go of her nipple and stare up at her.
When Kelsey finally opens her eyes and looks down at me, I say, “To return the
favor, baby.” And then I kiss my way down her body, settling between her legs
as I start to slowly lick and suck.

Chapter
Eleven
Kelsey

As I’m laying here with the sun warming my
skin and smell of salt floating through the air, I can’t help but admit Beck
was right. It feels good to take a break, to relax and forget the inn, the
guests and the chaos of my life. He’s the only person who would ever be able to
convince me to take a break from my job, because right now he’s the only person
I want to be with. I want to enjoy every second of him being here, especially
since I know it’s going to come to an end.

After the amazing night with Beck and the
even better morning, I’ve decided to appreciate the time I have with him and not
dwell so much on the fact that he’ll be leaving. Beck makes me happy and even
if it’s just for the time being, I owe it to myself to be happy.

I’m on my stomach, my fingers sifting
through the sand as Beck sits up and reaches behind him, pulling his shirt up
over his head. The first bit of exposed skin and my bikini bottoms are
drenched. His stomach muscles make me weak, they’re flat and perfectly toned and
I trail my eyes down to the V of his hips, knowing exactly what it leads to.

I can feel my face flush because all I want
to do is take him back to my house and suck him off again until he fills my
mouth with his salty release. I love the way his soft skin slips in and out of
my hot, wet mouth, his hard, throbbing cock filling me in a way that only he
can. I love the way he moans my name and loses control, making me feel like I’m
all he’ll ever need. He makes me forget my inhibitions and fuck him with
reckless abandon.

“What are you smirking at?” Beck asks,
interrupting my thoughts.

I giggle before answering him with some
playfulness to my voice, “I was thinking about last night and this morning in
bed and in the shower and,” I say emphasizing the last
and,
“on my kitchen island.”

“Baby,” he groans. “Don’t remind me,
because you lying here in that bikini, your perfect ass on display, your pussy
already wet, makes me want to pull those bottoms to the side and fuck
you…hard.”

“How do you know I’m already wet?” I
question, wondering if he’s that in tune with my body.

“Because I can see it on your bikini
bottoms. Do you have any idea how distracting you are?” Beck asks running his
hand over the curve of my ass and dipping between my legs.

I gasp when his fingers brush over my
soaking wet bikini bottoms. “Beck, I want you right now. I want you to bury
your face in my pussy and make me scream your name. I don’t care who sees us. Show
this town what a dirty girl I am.”

I roll over and open my legs, tempting him
to do what I asked, but instead he settles himself on top of me, his cock stiff
and nudging impatiently at my wet opening through our swimsuits.

“Kels, baby, as much as I want to fuck you
right here, I want to be the only one who knows,” he stops and presses a kiss
to my lips and works his way to my ear before whispering, “that you’re a
fucking dirty whore in bed.” His words coupled with his hot breath in my ear
makes me moan and my hips grind against him.

“Beck, take me home,” I plead breathlessly.
“I need you to fuck me.”

Beck laughs and it’s deep and sexy. He
pulls back a little and smiles down at me, that cheeky grin that gets me every
time. “You really are a greedy little whore, but I’m holding out. Today we are
having some fun outside the bedroom.” He winks at me and I let out a huff.

“I want to have fun outside the bedroom,” I
whine, pouting. I push my bottom lip out and Beck captures it between his
teeth, nibbling before he runs his tongue across it.

“Stop being so fucking adorable,” Beck
demands before grabbing me and tossing me over his shoulder, my ass in the air,
laughing as Beck begins walking back towards my house.

Heading back up the boardwalk that leads to
my back porch, Beck slowly releases me, sliding me down the front of his
incredible chest as he shouts, “Look what the fucking cat dragged in!” He jogs
a bit leaving me behind, so I stop and wait for him to greet this person, who I
can only assume is someone he knows from Boston.

I don’t recognize him, but I watch as Beck
pulls the cute guy in a suit into a quick hug before they continue their
conversation. The two of them smiling and laughing as they make their way down
the boardwalk.

Beck’s friend looks me up and down, yet
something about it isn’t uncomfortable or weird, and I guess I deserve it
considering I’m standing in a skimpy string bikini. Beck’s friend says, “So
this is the reason you haven’t been back, huh?”

Beck nods and smiles at me and I return it,
waiting for him to introduce me. He takes my hand and gives me a little tug
forward so I’m standing next to him and he wraps his arm around my shoulders.

For some reason I’m nervous and I don’t
think it has anything to do with my attire. I can’t help but wonder what Beck
is going to say when he introduces me to his friend.

The part of me that’s a dreamer and a hoper
and a wisher wants Beck to call me his girlfriend, tell his friend that he
loves me, that he can’t live without me. But the cynical part of me, the one
who’s been through this all before knows it will only bring heartache. But
today I’m not dwelling on the past or what may come.

I lean against Beck and he squeezes me a
little tighter before saying, “Kelsey, this is my partner Ryan Summers.” I
smile, but Beck continues talking. “And Ryan, this is my girl Kelsey Walters.”
And when the last part leaves his mouth, my heart stops. “She’s the reason I
can’t leave.”

Ryan greets me with a kiss on the cheek and
a few words, but I’m in a daze, still replaying Beck’s words in my head and
struggling to keep that bit of hope that has seeped through under control.

Beck’s arm leaves my shoulders and his hand
gives me a pat on the ass, startling me a little, but bringing me back to the
conversation.

“You okay?” he asks.

I nod my head, before telling Beck I’m
going to go inside and get showered and changed.

I stop in the kitchen, listening to their
conversation through the open window; part of me needs to know why Ryan is here
and I have a feeling it isn’t because of the situation with Jason.

“So why are you here?” Beck asks.

“Gotta talk to you about some follow up
shit with that case that’s about to close. It’s going to trial. But we can talk
about that later,” Ryan says blowing it off like it isn’t important. But I know
it is to Beck. I smile when I hear Ryan say, “So where can a guy get a beer in
this town?” I can see why they’re friends, that’s the first thing Beck would
ask too.

Beck comes through the back door and into
the kitchen to find me still standing there.

“You sure you’re okay? I thought you were
taking a shower?” He leans into the fridge pulling out two beers.

“Yeah, I’m fine. All good,” I lie. I can’t
burden him with my issues right now. He grabs me and gives me a quick kiss
before squeezing my ass and telling me to get moving.

“Hey,” Beck calls as I’m heading to the
bathroom. “You mind if Ryan joins us tonight?”

“No, not at all. I’ll call Erin. See what
she’s up to tonight.” Beck lets out a chuckle that stops me in the hallway.
“What?” I question.

“You can invite Erin as long as you realize
Ryan’s gonna try to fuck her.” He shakes his head, taking the beers with him.

“I think you’re underestimating Erin!” I
yell as he walks out the back door.

Before getting in the shower, I send Erin a
text asking her if she wants to meet us at O’Loughlin’s in an hour for dinner
and drinks. Her response is instantaneous and it makes me laugh. The poor girl
is bored out of her mind. Since Beck has been back I’ve hardly spent any time
with her and with her being off in the summers, she expects me to be her
entertainment. Sometimes I wonder what possessed her to become a teacher and
why she would take a job in this tiny ass town.

An hour later the three of us are walking
into Beck’s dad’s place. I duck behind the bar greeting Pop with a kiss and a
hug, while Beck gives him a simple nod and walks to the back of the bar and
sits down with Ryan.

“Good to see you, baby girl,” Pop says,
slinging a towel over his shoulder. “You look happy,” he adds, smiling at me.

“I am,” I answer back as I begin pouring
Beck, Ryan, and myself beers.

“You’re not the only one who’s glad he’s
back,” he says, eyeing me and I know he knows that I’ve wanted this since the
day Beck left.

“I’m just enjoying it while it lasts,” I
respond back, slipping the beers onto a tray as I tell Pop I’ll talk to him
later.

Just then Erin walks through the door. You
certainly can’t miss her. Gorgeous curly red hair, stunning green eyes and body
to die for. But it’s that southern accent, paired with a short skirt and cowboy
boots that has every head in the bar turning to look at her, including Beck and
Ryan.

“Pop!” she yells, slamming her hands down
on the bar. “Did you miss me?”

“Always, Erin,” he says, before handing her
a pint glass of Harp, but the three of us know it’s what Erin likes to call a
Harp Shandy. It’s even on the menu as The Erin. Harp mixed with Sprite.

“Come on, crazy girl. Let’s go sit down,” I
say, dragging her away from the bar and the group of semi-drunk tourists who
seem to be a little too friendly for my liking.

But what I should be concerned about is the
way Erin and Ryan are eyeing each other before I even have a chance to
introduce them. I’m pretty sure Ryan just eye-fucked the shit out of her and
clearly he has no idea who he’s dealing with.

Beck stands up and gives Erin a quick hug
while Ryan can’t take his eyes off Erin’s boobs. I slide in next to Beck
leaving the only spot for Erin, which is next to Ryan.
