(The maid or matron of honor gives the ring to the minister; the minister gives it to the bride; the bride then places it on the finger of the groom and repeats after the minister:)

Ring Vows with the Covenant of Salt
Minister: "For centuries, rings have symbolized the sealing of covenants and commitments."
(The best man gives the bride's ring to the minister who then holds it up and says:)
"This ring is a circle; it symbolizes the continuity of the marriage bonda marriage for as long as you both shall live."
(The minister hands the bride's ring to the groom and instructs him to place it on her finger.)
Minister (to the groom): "Do you, ________________, give this ring to ________________ as a token of your love for her?"
Groom: "I do."
Minister: "Then, as a ceaseless reminder of this hour and of the vows you have taken, ________________, place this ring on the hand of your bride and repeat after me:"
Groom (repeating after the minister): "With this ring I thee wed, with loyal love I thee endow, and all my worldly goods with thee I share, in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen."
