were second nature to them.

I know,” I reply. Trying to come up with a good excuse on why we

shouldn’t be making out right now, as much as I had dreamed of this

day happening.  Only in my wildest dreams – no, not even in my

wildest dreams have I considered this to happen.

Why me?

Why did this have to happen to me?  I closed my eyes, trying to  savor

this very moment.

You know what?” He asked. I felt his hands behind my back now

through my shirt as they stopped at the back of my bra.

I Whisper his name again. “Michael,” His eyes lock on mine, and I

could see the lust inside him, the same lust and need, I had for him.

My dad and your mom will never know,”

My mom will, somehow she always knew what I was doing, and I

could never figure it out till this day. She had eyes and ears all over the

place.

This, was really happening, Michael touching me, kissing me, telling

me he wants me more than ever

Chapter Nine

You have Ella,” I said.  Trying to remind him of the longest

relationship he had ever had.  I Gently pushing him away from me. He

knew I was right. Ella would be disappointed if she found out, and

also, worse could happen. He didn’t seem to care, the look in his eyes,

when I said Ella’s name was like he was looking at the wall.

You seem to not understand,” He said. His voice was a bit harsh,

almost as if he were getting agitated.

Understand what?” I asked. “There’s nothing complicated about

this,” I reassured him. Because it was the truth. Nothing was

complicated, he had Ella and that was that. I didn’t

consider Michael to be a cheater?

Or was I wrong on that too?

He furrowed his eyebrows. “Do you think it’s just that easy?”

What do I think is easy?”

I was now completely confused on what he was talking about.

Seeing you every god damn day of my life, since last year, not being

able to touch you, to kiss or hold you, not being able to sleep with

you,” My mind went blank at those words. “I am not giving up Grace,

you can try and fight me all you want, but I know how you feel about

me, and I feel the same, despite what is going to happen in the future,

I want you,” It almost sounded like it was a promise that he was going

to have me.

He sounded sincere, and yet tough at the same time.

I then ask. “What if our parents find out?”

He replied. “They won't, if we don’t tell them they will never know,

there staying at my aunts tonight Grace, she lives six hours away, we

have six hours to devour each other, isn’t this

what you have always wanted? I know I have,”

Yes.

I closed my eyes, trying to calm myself down, trying not to give in, but

he was giving me a speech about sleeping with me, and that was

tempting enough.

What about Ella?” I said after a few minutes. I he then looked at me

and Placed a hand on my cheek, moving in closer.

Ella doesn’t have to know either, I need my fix,”

So I’m just a pawn?”

No,” His forehead was now inches from mine. The way he said no

gave me chills.

You're much more than that,” His lips now crushing mine before I

could even speak.

Chapter Ten

He lay over me, we were both breathing heavily, He kissed my neck

gently up and down now, everything around me was spinning.

I felt more disoriented than I have ever in my life, apart of me wanted

to believe that it was a good thing, and another part of me wanted to

believe it was bad.

He got up off of me, He lay by my side His hand gently placed on my

cheek, and I could help smile, I knew that it was the best sex I had ever

had.

So?” He said. Whispering to me, as he pulled the sheets up.

So?” I repeat. As my eyes start to drift asleep
.

How was it?” He

asked, His arm gently went around my back, and I felt his fingers

slowly move up and down my spine.

Fantastic,” I say. Then I fall asleep.

Its the fastest I had ever been asleep in my life through a

thunderstorm.

Chapter Eleven:

It had been a good few weeks since the Thunderstorm and Blackout

had happened. Since then, Michael hasn’t really talked to me, let alone

looked at me. I was heartbroken of course, I sat on the couch watching

TV with my mom eating ice cream out of the carton we were having

our girl on girl time, while both of the boys were out. We watched our

favorite Movie,
The Wizard of Oz.

Mom looked at me, with a light smile.

So sweetie, who broke your heart,” I stopped looking at mom,

Hesitated to speak.

What do you mean?” I ask. Hoping she didn’t find out about me and

Michael.

N
o one,” I say soon after. I smile. “Promise,”

Girls only eat ice cream from a carton if someone broke their heart, or

if their pregnant,” She Squinted her eyes, looking at me at concern.

I promise, I’m not pregnant nor did I have a boyfriend you didn’t

know about,” I say. She kissed my forehead.

If you were pregnant though, I would be a little disappointed, but

happy,”

You would?” I questioned her. Surprised to hear that. She had always

told me if I got pregnant at a young age she would want me to give the

baby up for adoption.

What about the whole adoption thing you told me when I was

younger?”

That was just to scare you into not getting pregnant,” Mom chuckled

Lightly. “Of course I want to be a grandma,”

I smile lightly. Of course she would.

Michael came into the house slamming the door shut. His forehead

was creased, and his eyes were full of anger. Mother and I both looked

at him.

Michael what’s wrong?” Mother asked. Getting up from the couch and

Going to him.

Ella broke up with me, that’s all,” He said. Looking at my mom with

Sincere eyes.

I’m so sorry baby,” Mother said. “Is there anything I can do to help?”

No thanks Loretta, I’m just going to go in my room,”

Michael headed up the stairs glancing at me from the corner of his eye,

then reached his room and shut his door.

It had been a few hours since Michael had been home, and everything

was quiet in the house. Mom and Gary were in their room taking a

Nap” together. I knocked on Michael's door once, and then walked in,

just like he did with me, except the knocking part
.

What do you

want?”

Just making sure you’re okay,” I say. He was laying on his back,

bouncing his basketball up at the ceiling and catching it.

I’m fine,” He says harshly.

I don’t leave.

How did she break up with you?” I pressed on. Knowing it was going

to be a personal subject, but I wanted to know.

Why do you care?” He asked. As the ball had hit the ceiling.

Oh gee, I don’t know because maybe I actually care about you?
