"So nice, I'm going to fuck you in the ass one day, Yani."

She whimpered and her body quaked in his grip.

He bent his head, and ran his tongue through the crack up to the small of her back, where he placed a small kiss.

"Right now, I want to feel your sweet pussy."

He groaned, reveling in the scent of her arousal mixed with the euphoria driving his senses.

Corbin centered the tip of his penis between her swelled labial folds, finding the tender ring of her pussy hole. Then with a deep, resonating growl, he drove his massive erection up her cunt.

Yani jerked forward with a shout. Her breathing became shallow, ragged.

Corbin relished the feel of her tight pussy clamping around his ridged flesh. He started fucking her then. Fast, hard, deep. Giving her every possible inch of cock her succulent body could accept.

Soon, her hips moved to his urgent rapidity. She matched his erratic strokes with sharp jerks of her body.

He tossed his head back and hissed as his cock pulsed with pending release.

Her pussy began to spasm with rolling waves, squeezing his shaft like a vice. It was more than he could take when Yani screamed, pressing her ass against his pelvis, as her pussy pumped violently around his cock.

His sex throbbed harshly, forcing seed up his shaft and out in a series of ecstasy filled eruptions.

When he came down, Corbin's head hurt, even as his body succumbed to the sated aftermath of great sex. The cramping in his stomach indicated that the Trill was wearing off. He sighed, knowing he would soon need another dose.

He looked down at Yani as she slept in his arms. A soothing calm eased the sudden, painful, tremors in his gut. She stirred emotions that he didn’t want to deal with, not now, not again. He held her close and set the autopilot on a course to Yor. Her steady breathing, and warm, soft, body, nearly lulled him into a peaceful slumber.

CHAPTER NINE

"What have you done now?"

Yani woke to the sound of an angry male voice. She sat up and looked around. After her eyes focused, she suddenly realized where she was. This had to be Corbin's domicile. It was a lot smaller then she would have guessed.

In fact, only the stuffed pallet, which she currently lay in, occupied the small space. Even more shocking, it sat only about twelve inches off the floor on a slab of stone. Okay, so she had heard the Dregs preferred simplicity in life, however, she had not expected it to be "simple" to the extreme.

Looking around, that was exactly what she saw. Yani wondered if the rest of the home was this unremarkable. In front of the bed she sat on, a shear sheet covered the doorway, separating the "bedroom" from the rest of the house.

She stepped off the bed, stretching her body as she stood. Cool breeze hit her exposed skin. Yani looked down and frowned at her nakedness. Of course he would strip her naked! Lifting her hand to her neck, she felt bare skin.
Well at least I'm rid of that awful collar.

She rolled her eyes and searched for her dress. Instead, she found a short sarong skirt and a long scarf. She knew what to do with the skirt, but the cloth was another story. After several minutes of trying different ways of covering her breasts, she decided to just wrap the damn scarf twice around her chest and then tucked the ends into the strapless top she created.

She would find Corbin and simply demand he return her to Azuri...
Yani thought about that for a moment
. Do I really want to go back to Azuri, and to Gor, and to whatever sequestered slavery of a life he had planned for me?

Well, no she didn't! Maybe she could talk him into taking her back to Zen. However, the minute she set foot back on her home planet no doubt her parents would simply send her on the next shuttle back to Azuri.

Damn
, she really needed to sort this out.
Should she tell Corbin she was a member of the Zen royal family? He obviously did not know. Then again, Corbin didn't seem like he would care, considering the way he kidnapped her.
That realization really ticked her off.
Who did he think he was anyway?

Okay, so maybe she was sort of glad to see him again when he barged into her room, but kidnapping her? Unfortunately, try as she might, Yani could not seem to get as angry about that fact as she knew she should. After all Corbin had, in a very inadvertent way, saved her from a life of hell... Maybe she should thank him.

The yelling outside got louder, grabbing her attention.

She stepped out into a kitchen area.

It had little furnishings, and a very large cooking cove carved into the far wall. Another room, to the left of the one she stepped out of, had the same sheer curtain hanging in place of a door. A table, five chairs – all handmade – decorated the center of the oblong shaped room. Other than shelving built into the walls, which contained kitchen supplies, no other furniture took up space.

A large pot sat on a metal grid suspended over a fire by iron brackets hammered into the oval shaped stone hearth. Panic crept up on Yani as she noticed there were no indoor lavatories or toilet facilities.

A loud crash startled her. Yani followed the loud angry voices. She walked to the front entrance and stepped outside.

She stopped short when Corbin and another older Dreg male stood facing away from her arguing. Not knowing what else to do, she shrank back just inside the doorway and listened.

* * * *

"This is completely irresponsible!"

Corbin stared stone-faced while Teagan unleashed his anger on him. He expected nothing less from his father.

"Joran never gave me a worry! You should take his example, but no Corbin; you always have to do as you wish, no matter what the consequences. Now you bring another whore into my home!"

His father shook his fists as he spoke. Here he went with Joran again. Corbin lived his whole life in Joran's shadow. He had grown to resent his own brother. Every time he tried to impress his father, Joran always won all the prideful praise while he only received his father's wrath, even when Joran was to blame.

He pushed the painful thoughts aside.

Corbin put his hands on his hips and looked down at his feet. He shook his head and looked back at his father's disapproving grimace. "Father I–"

His father pointed that hated finger at his nose, "Don't you call me that! No son of mine has caused the ignominy you have, and still expects my favor."

The words stung a lot more than Corbin would let his father know.

"Is there nothing about me that pleases you?"

Corbin's voice shook, sounded pathetic. He choked back tears, knowing it would only solidify Teagan's resentment.

He suddenly felt like that small boy who couldn't win his father's approval, no matter how hard he tried. He often wondered if his father's hatred towards him had to do with his mother's abandonment.

His mother left Teagan when Corbin was very young and went to live with her sister and her mate. Communal law allowed breeding mates to separate when the union creates a tumultuous environment for the children produced during the mating, or if it is unfruitful. Nevertheless, because warriors under Dreg law have the responsibility of providing and protecting their families, Corbin had to live with his father.

His father wasted no time in finding another mate, and Joran was born. He had grown up an outcast in his own home, always living in the shadow of his father's new family.

His mother's weekly visits had been sacred to him.

Teagan sneered. "You have no honor. Shame has been the bane of your existence. Do you not hear what others say about you? I have given you enough chances to save face and you have been a disappointment each time. It's all Iniana's fault for coddling you."

At the mention of his mother, Corbin snapped his head up and stared his father in the eye. "Leave my mother out of this!"

Teagan turned to leave; he dismissed Corbin with a wave of his hand. "Bah! She should have aborted you the moment she found out she was pregnant..." He turned cold condescending eyes on Corbin, "... Just as Kiana did with your bastards!"

He stepped up to Corbin.

Tilting his head back slightly due to Corbin's taller stature, he narrowed his eyes and spoke through clenched teeth.

"Take the Zen bitch and leave my home. I want you gone by tomorrow, before sunrise."

Corbin watched his father turn and walk away. He took a deep steadying breath. Heaviness sunk in his chest. It was not the first time his father had thrown him out, but each time it happened, Corbin shattered inside.

The all too familiar pangs of rejection stabbed his stomach. He turned towards the hut and stopped mid-step. Yani stood at the doorway. She stared back at him, her face a blanket of concerned sadness. Pity.

That angered Corbin; he didn't need anyone's pity, least of all his new fuck toy. Immediately after the thought, Corbin regretted thinking it.
Yani is not just a fuck toy.
It pissed him off even more that he would care.

He flexed his muscles and pushed his emotions back into the dark hole in his heart. As he walked passed her into the hut, Corbin motioned her to follow him.

"We're leaving."

Yani just stood staring at him. Her face was full of quiet understanding and sympathy. Damn her!

"Stop staring at me like I'm some poor infant in need of a tit to suckle!"

To his surprise, she didn't retaliate with a predictably patronizing remark. Instead, she laid a small, elegant hand on his cheek, bringing him unexpected comfort. Then, without a word, she went back to his room and began to pack up the blankets and pallet.

He had no idea how to react to Yani's strange behavior. All his life, only his mother had been truly kind. He had never built any friendships with others.

After he finished his warrior's training, Kaden became as close a friend as he ever had. Even so, that friendship had been more professional then private. As a child, he spent most of his days by himself. Memories of his childhood still made him feel worthless.

He looked at the hearth and flinched.

A vision of his father stood near the fire. In his hand, he held a steel rod. The flattened end bent to form a circular base. He'd never forget what happened that day. The memory took him back to his twelfth year. He was just a boy.

He stood the moment his father walked in. His rage had been so profound that Joran sat behind him motionless, trying not to even breathe, lest he be the one to receive punishment.

Corbin accepted punishment for both of them. He did not dare tell his father Joran had taken their grandfather's dagger and lost it. The six year old hadn't meant any harm. He just wanted to show his friends the beautifully hand carved knife.

His father pointed to the floor under his feet. "I said come here, boy!"

Corbin turned his head to look at Joran. His heart broke when he saw the tears streaming down his brother's face. Faking a brave stance, he nodded once and gave Joran a reassuring smile.

The low growl coming from his father's direction reverted his attention back to the hearth and the fire heating the flat end. He swallowed and walked slowly towards Teagan.

His head bowed down, Corbin stood in front of his father. "Father I am sorry – " Sharp pain heated his cheek from his father's backhanded blow. He fell back and landed, with a hard thud, on the packed dirt floor of the hut.

Tears burned behind his eyes, but he had learned not to show weakness before his father. His sobs seemed to be stuck in his throat and he tried to force them down.

He looked up to see his father baring his teeth, the anger pouring from him. The iron flat-ended pole that was used to brand animals came into view, as his father pulled it out of the fire. The flattened end glowed bright red. Its heat reached Corbin's face.

With no further warning, his father bent and used his free hand to grab a fist full of Corbin's shoulder length dreads and yanked him up off the floor,

"Get up you little bastard, I'll teach you to steal from me. Joran come here!"

Corbin saw Joran's frightened expression as he moved to do their father's bidding. Teagan's grip tightened on his dreads, making him wince at the crushing pain. Corbin's body trembled with the strain of trying not to cry out. All he could do was take his punishment and hope that it would be quick.

"Good boy Joran." His father's voice sounded less harsh regarding his youngest son. "Now when I place Corbin face down on the table, I want you to climb up and place your knees on his head, and press down to hold him there."

Joran jerked his head to look at Corbin. His face foretold the reluctance he had in participating in his older brother's punishment. Corbin lowered his eyes, not wanting Joran to see the pleading in them for him to disobey their father.

Teagan dragged Corbin to the table and slammed him, face first, into the wooden top. He then motioned for Joran to take his place as he had instructed.

There was nowhere to go. Corbin lay trapped beneath his father's weight, face down, with his brothers knees digging into his skull. Helpless to turn and see what his father was about to do, Corbin could only wait for the inevitable to happen. The awful anguish of waiting for what he knew was sure to hurt, became agonizing.

He then heard his father's slightly muffled voice. "You'll never cheat me again..."

His screams filled the hut, as the hot iron rod pressed against the tender flesh of his lower back, scarring him forever.

Corbin held back tears threatening to stream down his face. That day would haunt him until his death. He shook the evil thoughts away. The pains in his stomach started to churn once more. He tried to ignore the tremors starting in his hands, hating himself more, because he knew temptation would win.

CHAPTER TEN

"Corbin?"

Yani stepped out with the folded pallet and blankets neatly tucked inside. Corbin stood near the fire looking down at it, as if in some kind of trance. The moment she said his name, his head snapped up and he turned to look at her.
