A female came down the stairs in fitted jeans and a green motorcycle jacket. She was high yellow with jet-black silky black hair that fell to the middle of her back. She stepped in long strides as if she was a model for Baby Phat. She got to the booth and watched. Kane, Diamond’s younger brother, saw her first. His eyes searched the unknown female. She was breathtaking.

Danté saw her, too. He came out the booth with no shirt, a pair of Red Monkey jeans sagging off his ass, and a gleaming diamond and platinum chain hanging from his neck.

“Who let you down here?” he asked.

He stared into her hazel eyes. They were beautiful, but he wasn’t interested.

Kane and the other two guys stared from a distance. They thought Danté was spitting major conversation. They saw him point toward the stairs, and then the female left. Danté went back to where they were standing, drooling and lusting.

“Man, who was shawty?” Kane asked.

Danté shrugged. “Some chick. She can’t even speak English good.”

“Man, we need to be upstairs. That’s where all the action’s at,” another guy said.

Danté looked at him angrily. “Nigga, we ain’t no muthafuckin’ groupies. We on some get money shit ourselves.” Danté then looked at Kane. “You must ain’t told dis nigga what
time it is?”

Before Kane could say anything, the other guy said, “Niggas sho’ talk jazzy out the mouth when they get a lil’ change in they…”

Before he could finish, Danté caught the guy with a powerful left hook that dropped him to his knees.

He grabbed his jaw and looked up at Danté. “Whatcha hit me fo’, shawty?”

Danté looked at Kane. They were partners for real, more than the other two guys.

“Let him know whuzzup, bruh. Nigga don’t know me fo’ real.”

With that said, there was nothing else spoken.

Chapter 63

Summer sat in a leather high back chair next to a huge fireplace in their family room. Her legs were tucked underneath her as she casually sipped champagne from a long-stemmed glass. Jermaine and Jeremy were sitting on a leather sofa across from her. Even though they were both in the NBA, they were two down-to-earth people. Danté was laid out on the loveseat sipping on spring water and fumbling with Alisa’s hair as she sat on the floor with the family dog, a well-trained Neo-Mastiff that drooled a little too much. His name was Jaws. Danté named him; he was always thinking crazy in some kind of way.

Summer allowed her eyes to scan the room. She had all of her children right there before her at the same time. She took another swallow from her glass and decided to share a small story with her kids.

“This does not leave this room,” she said, her eyes narrowing.

Jermaine leaned in closer, his elbows resting on his knees, and began to stare directly at Summer. “You think Alisa should hear this?” he asked.

Alisa was beautiful. Her skin was evenly toned, and when she smiled at her brother, she flashed a set of pearly white teeth that was lined with a thin strip of metal, a retainer.

“I’m old enough,” she whispered in her soft voice, while rubbing the back of Jaws’ neck.

Summer stared directly at her and then began explaining to them how she went to the feds when she got out and took over a strip club in Augusta. She told them how her and Bookie had come up with a plan to elude the feds. That’s when she admitted herself into Georgia Regional and played crazy. Everything was on point. She told them how she dressed up in rag doll clothing with different color tube socks pulled up to her knees. She stood on the front lawn in front of every high school in Augusta and walked around talking to herself. That was an idea she’d gotten from a guy who went by the name Screaming Demon. She had carried on like that for nearly two years, and it paid off for her. Then she went on and on about Danté and their uncle. She saw the smiles that spread across the twins’ faces.

Then, out of the blue, Alisa asked, “What happened to Bookie?”

Summer downed the remainder of her champagne and removed her legs from under her. She stood up and walked across the floor to the wet bar that nearly took up the entire wall. Her back was to her kids, but when Lil’ Danté tried to quickly change the subject, Summer rejected his attempt. She turned and looked Lil’ Danté in his eyes. She was caught up for a moment and then she looked at Alisa.

“It was an accident,” she simply said, then left the room.

Alisa got up and left behind her. Jaws hurried to his feet and fell in step behind her. Lil’ Danté looked over at the twins.

“What y’all two gonna do tonight?” he asked, his eyes wandering from one to the other.

Neither of them responded. Lil’ Danté sensed something was wrong. He shrugged his shoulders as if he didn’t care about nothing at this point.

“Why you do that shit?” Jermaine asked. He wanted the truth by the way the words came from his voice.

Lil’ Danté’s eyebrows bunched together. “What shit?” He stood to his feet like he wanted to fight his older brother.

Jermaine stood up and towered over Lil’ Danté’s 5’9” frame.

“Nigga, we already know you killed Bookie, and you know how Mama felt about him.”

Now Jeremy rose to his feet and stepped between them. “Nigga, we blood from the same womb, and ain’t no outsider gonna break up our family.”

Jermaine shook his head and just walked off.

Taking that as an insult, Lil’ Danté shouted, “Fuck you then, nigga!”

Jermaine paused in his tracks and turned around. No sooner than he took three steps heading toward Lil’ Danté, Lil’ Danté flipped his shirt up and removed a compact .45 from his waist.

“Don’t run up on me, bruh,” Lil’ Danté growled.

Jermaine stopped and stared at the gun.

“So you gonna shoot me?”

“Put the gun down, Danté,” Jeremy said, standing off to the side.

By then, Summer had returned and saw what was going on. She walked between the three of her sons. Without hesitation, she took the gun from Lil’ Danté.

“I will not tolerate this bullshit in my house!” she shouted. “I built this. I put this together, and it’s my way or no way.” She glanced around at all three of her boys. “Is that understood?”

Both twins responded in unison, and they meant it. She looked at Lil’ Danté and repeated, “Is that understood?”

He was so stubborn that it nearly killed him to suck it up. He finally mumbled under his breath, “Yes, ma’am.”

He didn’t mean it, though. Hatred was built up in his heart, and he had an understanding level of zero.

The following night, Lil’ Danté pulled up in Jonesboro South to holler at Kane. Lil’ Danté bumped the horn, and Kane came outside, his platinum chain bouncing on his chest.

“Get out, shawty,” Kane said.

Lil’ Danté kept the car running with Young Jeezy bumping from the stereo system.

Kane dapped him up. “Nigga, I heard you drew down on yo’ brotha’.”

Lil’ Danté leaned up against the car and crossed his feet. Kane fired up a cigarillo filled with purple kush. He hit it two quick times and nearly burst his lungs. He tried handing it over to Lil’ Danté, but he refused.

“Just a lil’ misunderstanding,” Lil’ Danté replied.

“So y’all got that shit straightened out?”

“Yeah, we straight.”

“You sure? Man, you look like you got something on your mind.”

Lil’ Danté remained silent, and then he reached for the blunt. Kane hesitated, but then went ahead and gave it to him. Lil’ Danté took a pull and nearly coughed his lungs up. His eyes became teary and red. He wanted it out of his hand quick. The regular wouldn’t have done him like that, but on the other hand, this was the new age marijuana; it was no joke.

The night was muggy. They both got in the car, Lil’ Danté behind the steering wheel and Kane secured in the passenger side. He pressed a button, reclined his seat, and then looked over at Lil’ Danté.

“Where we goin’?” he asked, while removing his Glock from his pants and placing it underneath the seat.

Lil’ Danté looked over at him while turning the Bentley around.

“Let’s go fuck with some bitches.”

Kane checked his watch. “Let’s go by Justin’s.”

“How ‘bout that studio downtown?”

Thirty minutes later, they were in the parking lot of Pleasers. Exotic cars and major players were everywhere. Lil’ Danté stopped at valet, where an attendant stepped to the door and opened them for them. Lil’ Danté peeled a crisp one hundred dollar bill from a knot of money and handed to the attendant.

An hour later, he and Kane were exiting the club with two beautiful females who didn’t mind leaving with two big spenders, but what Lil’ Danté and Kane hadn’t realized is that they were being followed.

Chapter 64

Summer finally had the eight-bedroom estate to herself. She knew she could do whatever she wanted to do whenever she wanted to do it. Last week, she’d met a female lady friend over the internet from San Diego, California. The two women exchanged photos over the webcam and gave interesting stories.

Today, Summer had flown the half-French, half-American woman into Atlanta. Summer had already broken her in and gave her a sweet nickname.

Milky Way.

Milky Way was evenly tanned all over. Her body was tight and petite. She wasn’t a delusion; she was just naturally beautiful with innocent green eyes. But, the real reason she was there was because she’d told Summer that her boyfriend was a hot movie producer in Los Angeles.

Summer wanted her daughter in a major film, and she would stop at nothing to get it done. She’d developed more manipulative ways than a politician; however, she was comfortable. At the moment, she was sprawled out over her satin sheets with her legs spread wide apart. Milky Way was there, her soft wet tongue damn near had Summer climbing the walls. She pressed her shaved vagina against Milky Way’s face. Milky Way knew what she was doing as she gently sucked on Summer’s clitoris. It became swollen almost instantly. Summer felt herself about to cum. Her heart began to pound. Next to getting money, this was the best feeling in the world for her.

She cocked her legs in the air and grabbed her own ankles, her abdominal muscles tightening. She allowed a loud moan to escape from her mouth and tiny drops of sweat started to bead up on her forehead.

Milky Way savored Summer’s sweet juices before she climbed up on her and allowed their nipples to rub against each other’s.

“How was it?” Milky Way whispered into Summer’s ear.

“Is this your first time tasting expensive pussy?” Summer asked her between kisses. She dug her manicured nails in Milky Way’s back and clawed her down to her firm ass cheeks.
