“Stop.” She met his eyes in the mirror.

A heartbeat passed and he withdrew, his face full of questions but he didn’t say a single word. She turned and led him to the bedroom and pulled him down over her. If they were going to do this again, she was going to look at him. She wanted him over her, pressing her body into the mattress while he thrust inside her. She wrapped her legs around his hips as she guided his cock inside her again.

Tank kissed a path along her neck as he smoothed his hands along her arms. He pressed her into the mattress with the weight of his body as he linked their fingers together. She loved him. That was never a doubt. Even when he walked away from her she loved him with all that she was. He took her slowly, watching her with his dark green eyes.

The soul deep connection was intense the first time she felt it, but now it was what she looked for. He broke their stare and leaned down to kiss her neck, sliding his hard muscled chest along her breasts. Her nipples ached for some attention as his cock rocked into her. She gasped as his mouth surrounded one tip, her eyes drifting closed. More, she wanted more.

The slow and sensual love making turned hot fast. Tank scraped his teeth along the crook of her shoulder. She clutched his flexing ass with both hands while he tried to keep most of his weight off her. When he reached between them and rubbed her clit, she exploded.

Her body arched off the mattress, pressing her breasts against his chest as her pussy clamped around him. His soft grunt came seconds later as she clung to him. Sweat dotted their skin and mingled with the bathwater still lingering. She didn’t want to let him go. She didn’t want the moment to end.

“You look like you’ve been thoroughly fucked.” He kissed her and withdrew, tugging the condom off and tossing it in the trash. “I kind of like that look on your face.”

She smiled. “Why? Because you put it there?”

“Damn straight.” He scooted her over and lay down beside her. “I’m getting tested tomorrow. I’m tired of the damn condoms.”

She sat up. “I haven’t been with anyone but you in the past three years so I’m very low risk. But I’ll get tested if you want me to.”

“I trust you. The last time we were tested we barely made it out of the clinic without fucking.” He shook his head. “God, were we horny back then.”

“Still are.”

He smiled at her. “You want to go another round?”

She grinned. “Maybe in the morning. I need some energy back.”

He pulled her to him and covered them with the comforter before wrapping his arms around her. “We’re going to have to work on your stamina.”

“What the fuck is this?” Tank stared at numerous pictures of
Josslyn
at a younger age. Several were of her with men in her father’s club. Some were of her topless and a few with nothing on.

He glanced up at Deuce. “Where did these come from?”

“Left on the front step this morning. I’m assuming someone at the Reaper Boys MC.”

“Is this supposed to make me break up with her?” He shoved the pictures in to the envelope and grabbed his lighter. He lit the envelope and watched it burn a few seconds before stomping out the flame. “I’m trying to be diplomatic for the sake of the club, but I’m ready to walk in their club house and blow the fucker’s brains out.”

Deuce blew out a breath. “We’d all like to do that. But it’s only going to end badly if we let that happen.” He pointed to Tank. “How’s the shoulder?”

He was sore. He woke up barely able to move it though he thought that was from the position he slept in and the fact that
Josslyn
laid her head on that arm for most of the night. It didn’t matter. It wasn’t something he couldn’t handle.

“It’s fine. Sore.”

“We’re trying to prevent backlash. The slimy fucker is going to mess up and when he does, it’ll all be over. Just have some patience.”

Tank snorted and headed to his apartment. He wanted to move most of his stuff into
Josslyn’s
house before she got home. If he didn’t, she’d be bitching about the mess he’d made.

“You’re really moving out?” One of the blonde bitches that he screwed around with came to the doorway as he packed his bag. “Out of all the guys, we didn’t think you’d be the one to settle down first.”

“Yeah, well, having a kid changes things.” He didn’t know her name and he didn’t care. He glanced around at the mess he’d made since
Josslyn
cleaned the place up and cringed. He really needed to try not to be a slob.

“Are you sure he’s yours?”

Tank glanced over at her. “Why would you ask me that?”

The blonde shrugged. “From the pictures they left. The time stamp was three years ago. Right around the time she got pregnant. She was fucking other men.” The bitch shrugged. “He could be someone else’s.”

Tank shook his head. “No. He’s mine. Nice try though. Get the fuck out of my room.”

She blinked a few times before leaving. He didn’t fucking care what anyone said. Jeremy was his kid. He shoved his clothing in the bag and carried it out to the motorcycle.
Josslyn
was working and she’d left Jeremy at a new daycare center. It killed him since the little boy couldn’t exactly fit on a Harley. At least not with his mother’s permission. He needed to see about getting a truck. Something to drive Jeremy around in when he needed to go places.

Now he was turning into a fucking soccer mom. He needed a beer. He rode home and climbed off his bike.
Josslyn’s
garage had enough room for it, but he left his bike outside for the moment. He went up to the door and let himself in. Before he even made it to the bedroom, his phone rang.

“Yeah?”

“You’re not going to like this.” It was Deuce.

“What?”

“Someone is streaming videos of
Josslyn
fucking men. It’s a constant stream each showing a different man she’s been with. All appear to be filmed in the Reaper Boy’s fuck rooms.”

He rubbed his forehead. “They took videos of her fucking men?”

“Apparently. Graphic videos too. She’s a little kinky.”

“Shut the fuck up, Deuce.” Tank dropped the bag on the bed and headed back outside. “I’m on my way back. By the time I get there, someone better have a plan started on how we’re going to end this fucking war.”

Nobody came after his family.

Nobody.

Chapter Eight

Dooby lit a cigarette and stared at Tank. “You know the easiest way about doing this right?”

“Go in guns blazing?”

“No.” Dooby took a drag from his cigarette. The tip of it glowed orange before he sat it down in the ashtray again. “Draw them to us.”

Deuce folded his hands on the table in front of him. “How exactly do we do that?”

“What does Matthias really want to keep private?”

Tank sat back. “He’s got a beef with Danny. Something pretty big. Both kind of buried it, but if provoked in the right way, Danny may spill his guts.”

“Provoked how?” Torque asked. “Money?”

“And women and drugs. It probably wouldn’t take too much effort to convince him to snitch.”

“Set it up,” Torque told Dooby. “I want a meeting with the Sergeant of Arms and he needs to come alone.”

“He won’t come alone,” Dooby commented pulling his phone out. He lifted his cigarette and met Tank’s eyes. “Maybe you should set it up.”

Tank reached for Dooby’s phone and dialed the number. If there was something worthy of knowing, maybe he was the one to find out. Danny wasn’t his biggest fan but he knew the man. He worked his way up in the ranks about like Tank did. Both held the same position in their clubs.

“You’d better talk fast because I don’t have time for bullshit right now.” Danny’s greeting on the phone made Tank snort.

“It’s Tank.”

A pause. “What the fuck do you want?”

“A meeting. With you. Nobody else.”

“Let me guess. I show up and your crew is there too. You want to make me a sitting duck. No thanks.”

“No crew.” Tank glanced over at Torque. “Just me.”

“I don’t trust you as far as I can throw you.”

Tank sighed. “What if I told you that we’d like to make you a deal?” Joker handed him a piece of paper and Tank’s eyes widened. “A very hefty deal involving six figures.”

“What do you want in return?”

“Meet me and we can talk about it.”

“Okay. The Barker’s Club on Forty-Seventh. There is an alley behind it. Come alone.” He hung up the phone and Tank clicked it off.

“He wants to meet. Looks like Danny-boy is a snitch after all.”

Torque stood. “For the right deal, anyone would snitch.”

Tank didn’t agree, but he let it go. Joker went to the safe and pulled out the cash. Tank wasn’t entirely sure what kind of
Pandora’s box
he was opening, but whatever juicy details Danny had he wanted to know them.

“How’d you know about Danny’s beef with Matthias?” Joker asked.

Tank stared at his friend. “Do you really need to ask me that question?”

Joker sat the stacks of money on the table. “Is she okay with you using what she tells you to take down her father?”

Tank stood and grabbed a black bag for the money. “
Josslyn’s
situation with her father is Scarlett’s situation times a thousand. She’s not on his side.”

Joker counted the money and then recounted. “Yeah, but if you use what she told you in confidence, then it could make her look like a snitch.”

“Danny is the snitch. Not Joss. She doesn’t know what he knows. She just helped them keep it a secret.”

“I can imagine how that ended.” Joker took the bag.

“What is your problem with her?”

Joker stopped and stared at Tank. “Sleeping with the enemy never helped anyone.”

“She’s not the enemy. Her father is.”

“And she doesn’t talk to her father? Hell, you had to go into his club and save her ass.” Joker shook his head. “Don’t even get me started on the way she treated you. You can forgive and forget, but I don’t trust her.”

Tank stared at his friend. “You don’t have to trust her. You have to trust me and that’s all that fucking matters.”

Joker blew out a breath. “Fine.”

They left the room and Tank wasn’t sure where they stood. He understood the way
Josslyn
threatened them. She was MC royalty in a rival MC. Tank didn’t like it though. She didn’t plan to participate in that life, but he didn’t want it to be an issue for anyone. Joker had always been unsettled about the way things went down three years ago. Tank just didn’t realize how much.

They went to the meeting place. Tank was fine going alone, but Deuce and Torque insisted that Joker and Dooby go with him. He knew how skittish Danny could be so they agreed to wait away from the destined alleyway.

Danny came out of the shadows when Tank walked up. His long hair was tied back in to a bun while a jagged scar marred the side of his face. He wore the Reaper Boys cut and a scowl that Tank thought was amusing.

“What’s this about?” Danny asked him.

Tank licked his lips. “I want to know what Matthias’s secret is. The one that
Josslyn
had to sleep with you to keep you silent.”

Danny grinned. “Is that what that bitch told you?”

“Joss didn’t tell me anything. One of your prospects did.”

Danny’s smile went away. He studied him for a moment. “And that cash is to buy my information?”

“Depends on how good it is.” Tank stared at him. “If you take Matthias down you can win the crown of the Reaper Boys. It’s why he didn’t make you
Vice
in the first place.”

Danny rubbed his chin. “How exactly do you propose I get the crown?”

“Snitch on Matthias. We take him down and we take down Eddy. Kill two birds with one stone. Sergeant of Arms gets the President position until the next vote. Is there anyone that would go against you?”

“Nah, I think I can pull the vote.” Danny met his eyes. “Why should I trust you?
Me
and you are not friends. You could just as easily turn on me as I could you.”

“The Charming Bastards want some peace with the Reaper Boys. With you at the head of the table, we can reach that peace.”

Danny licked his lips. “Nothing is ever a sure thing in this business.”

Tank shrugged. “Things usually work out if you really want it.”

He held out his hand and Tank gave him the money. “A few years, Matthias made a drug run for David Riley. The bastard set him up and Matthias panicked. He shot two cops and disposed of the bodies out by Silo Road next to the green barn. You can’t miss it. The case went cold when they couldn’t find out what happened. He covered his ass and gained much respect from Riley, but the cops keep hinting around about that time. They want anything they can sink their teeth into and he’s desperate enough to do anything to keep it quiet.”

“Any way we can link the dead bodies to him?”

“Riley had security cameras that caught everything on tape. Apparently had Matthias’s face very clearly. He uses it to keep him in line. I don’t suggest getting in bed with Riley though. That bastard is cold as hell and a million times worse than Matthias.”

“So you threatened to squeal when Matthias hooked you up with
Josslyn
?”

Danny met his eyes. “I threatened to tell Riley that Matthias was cutting his profits and keeping the money for himself. If Riley ever found out, Matthias would be as good as dead but Matthias just thought that he would release the video to the cops. The poor bastard is afraid of jail even with all the dirty shit he’s got on his hands.”

Tank nodded. He had no intention of getting involved with David Riley, though it would be a good fall back for when things went down. If Matthias thought that Riley was behind it all, then he wouldn’t come after the club.

“Thanks.” Tank stuck out his hand and Danny shook it.

“None of this comes back to me.”

“None. We want peace not war.”

As Tank left, he thought about the mess they were in. Danny’s information was good if it was reliable. They needed to go to Silo Road and find the bodies first. And while that happened, he needed Mac to start hacking into Riley’s system to get the video footage.

It was just another day at the office.

Josslyn
picked Jeremy up from the new daycare with a smile. She had two sellers sign with her and a buyer interested in one of her properties. It was a good day. He came to her with a picture in his hand.

“Hey, sweetie.” She hugged him and smiled at the daycare worker. “How was your day?” He shrugged. She titled her head to the side. “What’s wrong?”

He hugged her, wrapping his arms around her neck.
Josslyn
lifted him and glanced at the teacher who said nothing. The first daycare she sent him to was highly regarded in the city as being one of the best. She did her research and checked the place out before she even thought about leaving her kid there. They screwed her over by letting someone kidnap her kid.

Jeremy whimpered in her arms and stroked his back. “It’s okay.” She kissed him.

“The director wanted me to ask you to not come back. She doesn’t want to get involved in the motorcycle club violence.”

Josslyn
held Jeremy to her. “What violence?”

“They came in here. They threatened us. They said it was because of you and your kid.”

Josslyn
turned before the girl even finished. “Don’t worry. We won’t be back.”

She carried Jeremy out to her car and saw her father leaning against his bike with a few others in tow. She unlocked the door and opened the passenger’s side to put Jeremy in his car seat. His sniffles turned into alligator tears streaming down his face. She pulled out her phone and pressed Tank’s number.

“Talk to Daddy.” She closed the door and went around to face her father. “Do I want to know why you’re terrorizing little kids?”

He folded his arms over his chest. “Is that what you think I’m doing?”

“The very fact that you’re here with your crew proves that much.”

He stood. “What did you tell him?”

She stared at the man that was half responsible for her DNA. “What could I possibly tell him? I haven’t been in your life, in your world for three years. Believe it or not, people do exist outside the club. There’s a whole world out there where people get legitimate jobs and work their asses off to take care of their kids. I know you know nothing about that, but trust me, it exists.”

His eyes narrowed. “Do you think you’re funny, little girl?”

“Whatever issues you have with Tank, should be taken up with Tank. My life and my devotion is for that little boy in the car. You touch him, I won’t hesitate one second to put a bullet in your brain.”

She went to undo the driver’s side door and one of his goons stopped her. She turned back to face her father.

“Don’t threaten me, little girl. You won’t like the consequences.”

“Don’t come around my son again. Actually don’t come around me either.”

She jerked the car door open, daring his goons to do anything, and got in the driver’s seat. Jeremy was talking to Tank on the phone, sniffling in the backseat. She put the car in reverse and left them staring after her.
