Amber:
Also known as Ambrose SaVan, she is a pureblood vampire from a royal line. She is the younger sister to Levi and was promised to Felix by her uncle a very long time ago. She is the astronomy and paranormal studies professor at the university, and she is also one of the main doctors at the vampire hospital.
Ashton Weslin:
Ashton is Avery’s older brother, and previously friends with Laney, Carter, Kiera, and Zoey.
Avery Weslin:
Avery is Ashton’s younger sister, Tate’s ex-girlfriend, and formerly friends with Laney, Kiera, Zoey, and Carter.
Brooke:
Brooke is Laney’s mother, Draven’s wife, and Lilly’s younger sister. She is deceased.
Carter:
Carter is Kiera’s fiancé, older brother to Harrison, stepson to Julie, and a distant relation to Felix. He is closest to Laney, Felix, Isaac, Tate, and his mom, Julie.
Cyrus:
Cyrus is an angel who works with the Brookehaven Vampires.
Draven:
Draven is Laney’s father, Brooke’s husband, and Lilly’s brother-in-law.
Ezra Morgan:
Ezra, or Mr. Morgan, is a demon-halfling who is a former biology and paranormal studies professor at the university.
Felicia:
Felicia was Justin’s girlfriend. She is the pregnant girl Laney and Carter encountered outside of Wal-Mart (book 2). She is bonded to Marcus and is Amber’s patient at the vampire hospital (book 3).
Felix:
Felix is a Brookehaven Vampire and Oliver’s BHV coworker and friend. He is a pureblood vampire, a distant relation to Carter, and bass player in the band Bitten. He is also one of the main doctors at the vampire hospital.
Gladys:
Gladys is the vampire slayer/cat lady who lives near the college and across the street from Professor McBaldy Bald.
Grandma Levesque:
Grandma Levesque is Zoey’s grandmother. She is also a vampire with a connection to Brookehaven.
Gwen:
Gwen was a Brookehaven Vampire and Vance’s field partner. She was killed, presumably by Oscar, in book 3.
Habitha:
Habitha is the fortuneteller from the street fair, and a witch.
Harrison:
Harrison is Carter’s younger half-brother and Julie’s son.
Hayden:
Hayden is Oliver’s niece and the daughter of Julz and Oscar. She is Isaac’s stepdaughter, but he has raised her as if she were his own.
Isaac:
Isaac is Hayden’s stepfather, Julz’s longtime boyfriend, and lead singer and guitarist in the band Bitten.
Jack:
Jack was Laney and Kiera’s regular Chinese food delivery guy, and now he is a fellow student in their paranormal studies class.
Julie:
Julie is Carter and Harrison’s mother. She is actually Carter’s stepmom and was his biological mother’s best friend.
Julz:
Julz is bonded to Oscar, Hayden’s mother, and Isaac’s longtime girlfriend. She was made a vampire by Oliver.
Justin:
Justin was Felicia’s boyfriend, and he was the Brookehaven Vampire who died protecting Laney and Oliver from a werewolf in book 1.
Kiera:
Kiera is Carter’s fiancée, daughter of Roger and Jane Blake, and close friends with Laney and Zoey.
Laney:
Laney is the main character of the BHV series. She is Oliver’s girlfriend, daughter of Draven and Brooke Alexander, niece to Lilly, and her closest friends are Carter, Kiera, and Zoey.
Levi:
Also known as Levingston SaVan, he is a pureblood vampire from a royal line, and Amber’s older brother.
Lilly:
Lilly is Laney’s aunt, Brooke’s older sister, and Draven’s sister-in-law. She is deceased.
Lola:
Lola is a Brookehaven Shepherd. She is currently in the care of Oliver and resides with Julz, Isaac, and Hayden.
Marcus:
Marcus was bonded to Felicia. He was killed by Felix in book 3.
McBaldy:
Also known as Stanley Stuart, he is the English professor at the university. He is Gladys’ neighbor who was attacked by werewolves outside of his house in book 1.
Niemus:
Mr. Niemus is Laney and Carter’s academic counselor.
Oliver:
Oliver is Laney’s boyfriend and a Brookehaven Vampire. He is Oscar’s twin brother, Olivia’s older brother, and Hayden’s uncle. He is Julz’s maker, and Felix’s BHV coworker and friend.
Olivia:
Olivia is Oliver and Oscar’s younger sister. She was killed by vampires the day before her sixteenth birthday.
Oscar:
Also known as Oz, he is bonded to Julz, Oliver’s twin brother, Olivia’s older brother, and Hayden’s biological father.
Paul:
Paul is a vampire slayer.
Phoenix:
Also known as Phen, he is the son of the BHV coven leader.
Rudy:
Rudy is Zoey’s boyfriend and a Brookehaven Vampire.
Steve the Cat:
Steve is one of Gladys’ many cats, but he is the only one who is not afraid of vampires.
Tate:
Tate is Carter’s best friend. He is friends with Ashton and is Avery’s ex-boyfriend. He was also Laney’s prom date.
Vance:
Vance was a Brookehaven Vampire. He was Gwen’s BHV field partner. He was killed, presumably by Oscar, in book 3.
Zane:
Zane is Laney’s guardian angel.
Zoey:
Zoey is Rudy’s girlfriend, Grandma Levesque’s granddaughter, and close friends with Laney, Kiera, and Carter.
