. Her short stories have appeared in the UK, Australia and South Africa. She has worked as a journalist and editor for Christian Aid and Barnardo’s, and written for the
Guardian, Sunday Times, Evening Standard
and
New Scientist
. She has a PhD in Creative Writing from Brunel University, London, and teaches Creative Writing at the University of Portsmouth.
