Clare threw a leg over her Triumph and kicked it into gear. The sun was shining, a bunch of people were dead, and Cloutier had actually told her she'd done a good job.

She was heading north, to the trailer park near Orillia. She wasn't moving in, like she'd implied to Matthew. But she did plan to stop and say hello.
