After a long while, Valtiel broke the kiss and pulled away, though he remained close enough to feel the heat of Kero's breath against his lips. Their eyes met, and for a moment, Valtiel could have sworn Kero's pupils had changed. Slitted, reminiscent of a dragon's, with this eerie amber glow. But in the next moment they looked as they always had, and he couldn't be sure he had even seen it. Dismissing it for the time being, Valtiel nudged himself into Kero's lap and leaned in for another kiss.

Warm hands came up to rest on his waist, but Kero stopped there. Kero was radiating heat, though not so much as to cause discomfort, as if his body instinctively accommodated to Valtiel.

"I didn't know elves could be so bold."

"I didn't know dragon knights were so tame. I heard you'd abuse any chance to sleep with each other."

"That's what you think about us? Such a perverted mind. Shame on you, Valtiel."

"Shut up and kiss me."

"Where will this lead us?" Kero asked.

"Interesting question. For later, though. I'm not done with you right now."

"Very well, my dear elf."

"And cut out the sweet talk. You are horrible at that."

Kero grinned broadly, shifting his position to get more comfortable and allowing Valtiel to steal several more kisses. To find Kero so very obedient pleased Valtiel, though he didn't think on that too long as it proved a very distracting train of thought. That had to wait until they had some privacy.

After some time had passed, they finally broke apart and returned to the interior of the fortress, as it had grown almost unbearably cold for Valtiel. Neither Kero nor Valtiel spoke as they moved through the halls towards what Valtiel assumed was Kero's sleeping chamber. He didn't feel nervous or uneasy as he would have thought, but rather eager and a tiny bit impatient.

The moment Kero had closed and locked the wooden door behind them, Valtiel embraced him once more to kiss him deeply, his fingers sifting up to brush through Kero's hair. He didn't think about where this would go or any possible consequences. All Valtiel could do was helplessly follow wherever this path led him.

They ended up tangled around each other on Kero's bed, which was surprisingly soft and large. As they kissed, they lazily shifted against each other, bit by bit removing Kero's shirt. His bronze skin and pale scars were already so familiar to Valtiel, he couldn’t help  teasingly nipping along them, here and there, which provoked a protesting groan.

Before he knew what had happened, Valtiel was turned on his back with Kero looming over him and straddling him. A faint blush came to Valtiel's cheeks, but he remained composed. There were no words, just Kero slowly pushing his hands beneath the fabric of Valtiel's top and stripping it off. Odd how serious Kero seemed to take it, Valtiel thought, noting how calm and focused he was.

Valtiel moaned softly when he felt Kero's hands running along his body, brushing along his sides and over his ribs, fingertips drawing invisible paths along his skin. Through half lidded eyes, he watched Kero scooting down bit by bit, always finding a spot to stroke and tease. There was both experience and curiosity in his movements, and every touch showed him that Kero didn't want to merely take, but to also give pleasure through his touches. So far, Valtiel couldn't complain in the least.

As Kero reached Valtiel's stomach, he paused and looked up. "You're not quite ready." It was a mere comment, and Kero's tone easily reassured Valtiel.

"It's just new to me to have someone of your kind close to me." Valtiel explained, somewhat embarrassed.

Kero smiled and retreated from his stomach. "I don't mind, Valtiel. You don't need to worry."

"Shut up already and come up here."

"Whatever you wish."

Kero settled against Valtiel, snickering at the expression on his face. Valtiel was restraining himself from hitting Kero for being so irritating.

"I still see you as rival," Valtiel said, tone defiant.

Kero laughed, nodding gently. "Sure you do. But I don't mind. Would be strange if that ever changed, wouldn't it?"

About the Author

Since the age of 16, Robin would have been able to limit her life to her desk, plotting and writing out stories to her heart’s content. It wasn’t until some years later that she would start to actually show some of this work, product of twisted fantasies and nights of writing excesses.

Currently studying Biology, she abuses every free minute for writing out more ideas, even if the results may vary from what she imagined in the first place…

Somewhat regular updates on unrefined works and spontaneous writing fits can be found at her DeviantArt. Robin is always happy about visitors!
