"My Lilith." His lips touched her forehead lightly as he kissed her.

"You're really here, Samael. You're standing here in front of me and not a hallucination but a wonderful reality."

"You remembered as I hoped you would."

Eva spoke up, and both of them turned to look at her.

"Samael, what did you do? The rules were that you could not tell her anything! She had to remember on her own!"

"You're right, Eva. The rules of the curse were that I couldn't tell her anything, and I didn't." He grinned. "There was nothing that said someone else couldn't remind her." Both Liliana and Eva gazed at him, waiting for him to finish.

Samael turned to gaze at Liliana
. H
is hand moved to cup her cheek and stroked gently over her lips, then moved to cup the back of her neck. "I knew I couldn't tell you anything. Then I got to thinking about the angel, Remiel."

"Remiel? Why does that name sound so familiar?" Liliana had forgotten about Eva being in the room, until she heard her speak and answer the question for Samael.

"Remiel is the Angel of Visions. Let me guess. You used him to enter Lili's dreams."

"Ah, she catches on so well. Yes, that's exactly what I did. I couldn't trust that you'd do what was right, and time was running out. All I needed was for you to be distracted." Liliana saw the beginnings of a smile on Samael’s face.

"Distracted? Who'd you use?" Before he could answer, Eva’s eyes widened, and her mouth hung open like a fish gasping for air. "Clay. You used Clay. Why’d he do it? Is that why he has been spending time with me? I knew it couldn't be because he wanted me. He had a fucking ulterior motive!" Eva looked furious.

"No, he didn't, other than to put right what you destroyed all those years ago."

Liliana looked at Samael. "She doesn't know, does she?"
s
he said softly.

"No, baby. Her trap, as clever as she was with it, also trapped the both of them, just as it did us."

"What do you mean it trapped them? Who the hell are you talking about?"

"I am talking about you and Clay, my dear Eva," Samael said to Eva.

Liliana watched the moment of clarity wash over Eve's face, making it apparent she realized whom the 'he' was.

"He's Adam, isn't he?" Just as Samael appeared when Liliana spoke her true name, Clay appeared standing just behind the other couple. He held his hand out to Eva, but she refused to take it.

"No, I won't go. You lied to me. I’m a mere distraction, right?" she growled out furiously. She turned frantic eyes to Liliana. "Lili, please, I’m sorry."

“No, I’ve had enough of your bullshit. Go please, and I’ll let you know if and when I want to deal with you again.”

“What about our business?” Eva was sputtering, no longer as cool and collected as she always was,
w
hich proved to Liliana that she wasn’t a hard ass like she pretended to be, demon or not.

“The business will be fine. I didn’t say I wouldn’t be working. I just have nothing to say to you, and right now, I am not sure I ever will.” She turned back to Samael and wrapped her arms around him, holding tightly to him, burying her face into the side of his neck with a whispery sigh.

Clay moved around Samael and Liliana and stood towering over Eva. This time he took her hand without asking for it. The look he gave Eva seemed to silence her and keep her in place. "I think it's time we left, Eva. We are finished here and unless Liliana invites you back or initiates contact, you will not bother them. It is done." Eva gawked at Clay, yet no words passed through her lips. With a smile, Clay nodded to Liliana and Samael.

"We'll take our leave now." Then they were gone.

"I'm not sure I'll ever get used to that." She chuckled.

"The disappearing act that we demons are fond of?” Taking her hand, he tugged at it, sitting on the large, black leather sofa and pulling her onto his lap.

"Yeah, that's very unnerving. I was used to it with you when I thought I had only one demon in my life, and now I find myself surrounded."

"I thought you were used to that from me?" She leaned up, kissing him, teasing her lips over his and gently tasting him. His tongue ran across the seam of her lips begging for entrance. Her eyes closed, and her head fell back into the crook of his arm as they indulged in each other. Tongues swirled together, hands moved over each other's bodies and before long, the room filled with heavy breathing. Parting her lips from his, she looked at him, still not quite believing he was before her.

"Is it really over, Samael? I mean, you won't be taken from me again?"

"It is, and it isn't." His fingers stroked over her frown to smooth her forehead.

"Remembering who you are is only the beginning to our story, not an ending." He grinned at her as she playfully hit his shoulder.

"You know you scared the shit out of me, right?"

"I will be here for the rest of your days, and mine, taking care of you. It has been designed so that our lifelines always intersect. Never fear that we are over, for even when we are no longer as we are now, we will be together again."

"Doesn't it stand to reason that the same can be said for Eva and Clay?"

He nodded in agreement. "Yes, it stands to reason that'd be the path for Eva and Clay. Alternatively, Eva would have to be sensible about everything that's happened. She can still go against the natural progression of how things were meant to be. They have a long road ahead of them. She's got a lot of jealousy and anger issues to deal with that concern him."

"I don't know why I care."

"You care, my love, because it is who you have always been. Caring and sweet, and she's been a huge part of your life. She's your sister and has been throughout time. Give it a bit.
P
erhaps you'll forgive her."

"Perhaps." She shrugged her shoulders, not wanting to think of that, at least not yet. "I must thank Clay and Remiel properly."

"You will, but they'll understand if we don't leave this house for a few days." She giggled, shaking her finger at him.

"I have other things to do besides lay about and be your sex slave." He leaned forward and nipped her finger, causing her to shriek. She laughed, and he leaned forward, kissing the tip of her finger.

"So tell me about these other things you have in mind to do besides being my sex slave."

"Um, you got me there. Do you have any ideas?" She grinned.

"Well, if you can't be my sex slave, how about I be yours?"

"Mmm, now that's very promising, my Samael. I love you so much. The one thing I could not bear was to be without you in the light so I gladly kept you in the dark. Just so I could have a piece of happiness with you."

"As Clay said, it is done. I love you, too, Liliana. I'd give up my wings again if it came down to it. You're worth that and so much more. Now we have forever."

"That we do, my demon, that we do. So how about we be each other's sex slaves?" Giggling and leaning forward, she kissed him soundly, cutting off his chuckle as they began to revel in their forever together.
