Chapter 36 – Monday Morning

I was still in shock on Monday morning, from the contents of the envelope Felicity had handed to me on behalf of Charles on Friday night just before I’d left. She’d given me a big hug and then told me to open the envelope. There was a note and two smaller envelopes.

Dear Amy,

I’m sorry I can’t be with you to say my goodbyes today but I wish you every success as you move on. If things don’t work out there will always be a place here for you at Chisholm’s. If nothing else, Felicity could do with an assistant and I know you have skills beyond mere typing. As a gesture of my appreciation you will find in the enclosed envelope a charge card that allows you up to a thousand dollars a month credit in our ladies wear department here. Don’t worry about the repayments, I will take care of those. Our few days together have been worth it. All the very best for the future,

Charles

I tore open the first of the smaller envelopes to reveal the charge card and a further note pinned to the back.

By the way this card is also good for two outfits a year from Melinda’s. Use them for Alan’s benefit.

Looking up I could see Felicity smiling at me.

“He said you were worth it, honey, and he meant it. Now open the other envelope, that might not be quite so much to your liking.”

The third letter was addressed to me in a handwriting I didn’t quite recognise but seemed familiar. Tearing it open I checked the signature first and then read the letter with a slight sinking feeling.

I hope you will be happy here from Monday, Amy. I am certainly looking forward to you joining our small team. Please follow the attached dress code which you will find I have modified extensively since your interview. I have arranged with my good friend, Charles, to provide you with the clothes you need via a thousand dollar clothing allowance, which he will add to the allowance I know he is already providing you with. I will see you at nine am sharp on Monday morning and I am definitely looking forward to seeing much more of you and getting to know you a lot better. As are the rest of the staff, and I am sure Charles will continue to be one of my best customers.

Yours, Ken Moore.

“Oh.”

Felicity gave me a hug.

“You’ll enjoy your new job. I know you will.”

As I read the details of the uniform I would be wearing in my new job the fluttering in my stomach increased.

* * * *

Pretty much as I’d expected, it was Mister Moore himself who let me into the back door of the shop at five minutes to nine.

“Good morning, Amy. I see you got my little note.”

I hadn’t bothered to wear a coat over the thin white translucent blouse and tight black skirt, there didn’t seem to be much point. Alan had given me a real big hug as I left and told me to enjoy myself. Since Thursday he hadn’t taken his hands off me and this morning had been no exception. I’d had to fight him off in the shower and afterward just to get ready for work. The fact that my new boss intended to use me right from the start in much the same way as Charles had didn’t seem to worry him at all. If anything it had stoked his ardour even further.

“Thank you.”

I followed him through to the front of the shop where the two young male assistants were waiting for opening time. They both did a double take when they saw me and as I saw from the glint in their eyes I knew Ken had already briefed them. They licked their lips and looked me up and down, lust glowing on their youthful faces.

“I’m just going to take Amy through into the office. Get all the forms filled in, that sort of thing. Must take down her particulars.”

The other two men sniggered.

“You are of course wearing your particulars, aren’t you, Amy?”

The chuckles from the others grated on my senses but I tried to suppress the blush that rose to my cheeks.

“Exactly as you ordered me to, sir.”

They whistled as they realised Ken hadn’t been joking when he’d told them about me.

“Follow me then please, sweetie, I can’t wait to get your particulars down.”

I meekly followed him as he led me back along the corridor at the rear of the shop into his surprisingly spacious and well appointed office. I instantly saw the three tripod mounted video cameras in the corners of the room, focused in on the area in front of his desk. The winking red lights betrayed the fact they were already switched on and recording.

He settled himself into his chair behind his desk, which was noticeably devoid of the paperwork we were supposed to be filling in.

“So, Amy, are you going to show me your particulars and then let me have them.”

I allowed a small smile to play across my lips as I reached for the hem of my skirt, ready to lift it to show him my particulars.

The End

This story will continue in the sequel “Book Store Amy”, coming soon.

About The Author

My name is Bridy, and I live in upstate New York. I’ve written for as long as I can remember, which is thanks to my parents for teaching me to read and write before I went to school. I’ve been fascinated by erotic tales all my adult life, my husband thinks they’re silly but indulges me. I won’t tell you how old I am because a lady never gives away her age. My other interest is photography but writing will always be my first love, other than my husband of course.
