"This is normal for you?" she said.

"It is more than that. It shows the depth of our bond. Not all males are lucky enough to get them."

Tracy moved her hand on his shaft, and as she hit a ridge, he shivered.

"Looks like they do something for the owner as well." She gripped it, circling his cock with her thumb and forefinger. She rubbed down and then up the length once, twice, three times.

"You are driving me insane with your hands. What are you doing now?"

Tracy moved to sit up, holding Rev's cock firmly.

"What are you doing now?" He repeated.

"I'm returning the favor."

"What," he groaned as she lowered her mouth on his cock. "Oh, Great Goddess," he uttered as she swirled her tongue around the tip.

With a smile, she shifted so her knees were under her so she could get closer to his cock. She sank lower on his shaft, sucking and licking, especially on those ridges. Each time she did, he shuddered. Tracy reached under and took his balls in one hand massaging them. Rev fisted her hair in his hands, moaning. "Oh gods, oh gods, oh, no, no stop."

Tracy pulled away, concerned. "Did I do something wrong?"

Rev pulled her to his heaving chest.

"Good gods, no. If you kept doing that, I wouldn't have been able to hold back. That was so good." He sounded surprised.

"What, don't the girls back home suck dick?"

All she heard was the sound of his breathing.

"I'll take that as a no. Well, they don't know what they are missing, and those ridges of yours add some fun."

He groaned, and then holding her in his arms, he pushed her back to the sand. He lay over her, holding himself up with his arms. He rubbed his shaft between her legs, sucking on her tits, heating her up once more. A small stab of needle-like pain hit her, and she knew Rev bit her once again. Her mind exploded, pleasure lighting every inch of her skin. His shaft began to poke at her entrance. He held her thighs and slid inside.

"Oh!" Tracy groaned. Sparks fluttered inside and out of her as he thrust. He held himself there a few seconds. His breathing was rough.

"Fuck me, Rev." He moved slowly, the pace of his strokes driving her insane. Rev was so big inside her. It was just what she needed, but he had to move faster.

"Fuck me," she demanded. He pushed in and out, moving in ever faster strokes. She grabbed his ass and pulled him into her as fast as she could.

"Come on, baby," she encouraged. "It feels so good!"

He was wild now, gripping her hips and pounding her. She grunted on each stroke. Fire gathered, spreading through her ass and up her spine. A final push broke her apart, and she screamed. Her heart hammered in her chest, and her head whipped from side to side wildly. She was unable to contain herself.

"Yes, yes, yes," she babbled as he sunk deep inside of her.

"Aaaahhhh." His cock was so large in her. She felt him shoot his warmth inside her. A few final pushes and he held himself above her shaking.

She held up her arms. "Come here, baby," she said, pulling him down beside her.

He sunk next to her, throwing his arm around her. He clutched her tightly. She snuggled against him.

After a few minutes, he could speak. He said, "I'll never let you go."

Tracy didn't hear him. She'd already fallen asleep.

Tracy woke feeling pin pricks on her skin. With a start, she saw a bunch of little black bugs crawling on her body. She felt one on her face. She shrieked and jumped up, batting the one off her face and brushing the rest from her body. They scurried away into a recess in the rocks.

Incredibly, Rev, didn't stir and remained sleeping on the ground. She wondered why none of the bugs bothered him. They certainly tore through the dead land crab. Maybe they were scavengers.

Good to know they were still alive.

She swallowed. Her mouth was dry. She felt around in the pockets of her jump suit and took out one of the pouches of water which were left. Water was one thing they could not be without in the desert, and she felt bad that she fell asleep without putting the suit on. Careless.

Next to her, Rev slept. His dark hair fell across his forehead. His well-built chest rose and fell in time with his breathing. He seemed at total ease with sleeping in the wilderness next to her.

She took small sips of the water, looking to quench her thirst, but tiny mouthfuls weren't cutting it. Tracy stared at the spacesuit that recycled her wastes into drinking water. They'd have to rely on recycled water when the packaged water ran out.

Tracy had no idea of what Rev planned, but not knowing anything about Carol was frustrating. She felt guilty about taking her pleasure with Rev when her friend was either suffering or dead from the biological manipulation of her body.

She couldn't even imagine what Carol went through in the hands of those miners.

She took out the last bar in the first packet and started chewing it slowly. It was a good thing she had a high tolerance for eating the same foods repeatedly. The schedule she kept at the newspaper didn't allow for lots of free time. She often grabbed foods from the same old fast food joints.

Rev finally stirred. He opened his eyes and looked at her with a sappy smile.

"Breakfast is ready," she said.

"Blessings for the day, mate," he grinned.

"That's a fancy way to say hello," she said.

"It is what we typically say to those we..." He stopped as if he was thinking over what to say. "It's a common way to wish a good day to someone."

"Uh huh," said Tracy. "You hungry? We've got, hmmm," she held up the two remaining packets of food bars. "Food bars or food bars."

"Tough choice, I'll take a food bar."

"Excellent choice, sir," she said tearing open one of the packets. She broke off a section and handed it to him.

"Here is our fine assortment of waters." She took out the three packets left. "I can recommend this vintage," she said handing a packet. "It is guaranteed to wet your mouth."

He took the packet and smiled at her. "Are you always this pleasant in the morning?"

"Me?" she said dismissively. "I'm always pleasant after a good alien abduction."

He turned serious. "I'm sorry, Tracy. I wish that you hadn't gotten involved in all of this."

Tracy turned her head away. His words stung in a way she didn't expect. Of course he'd be regretful. He'd said when his people got here they'd go their separate ways. Really, what other way could it be?

"Oh, I bet you say that to all the abductees," she said lightly.

He touched her arm."Tracy," he said. "Look at me. I know something is troubling you."

She tossed her head. "Not at all."

"Tracy," he said with more seriousness. Rev picked up her hand and held it to his heart. "Remember what I told you? I feel the beating of your heart. I can't help but do that. When you are troubled, I am troubled. Tell me."

She swallowed hard. "This,"and she waved her hand to indicate the shelter,"has been very nice, but you said yourself that when your people arrive..." Tears formed in her eyes. "It's silly. We've only known each other a few days. You'll go on with your life, and I'll go on with mine. That's that."

He stiffened. "Is that what you want?"

She stood. "I'm not the one who makes the rules, Rev, and I'm not the one who broke them." Tracy pushed the fabric of the chute aside and walked out.

Rev sat, stunned. He didn't understand what had just happened. Last night she was so enthusiastic, and this morning she was making jokes. Then his mate went from smiling to ice cold in sixty seconds. On top of that, she had berated him for breaking his society's own rules.

She was right though. He broke the law when he mated with Tracy. She was from a non-aligned world. Not even his own people would sanction such a union, and his family never would.

Yes, Rev rushed into the mating with Tracy, and there was no way to fix that. She was from another species. Tracy couldn't expect to know what this mating meant. Hell, it was even rare among his people in modern times. They were unalterably mated, and he'd have to deal with the consequences. It was his responsibility to try to make things right somehow.

He had messed things up but good.

Rev got up. He pulled on his clothes and left the shelter to find Tracy.

"Tracy!" he called. "Tracy, where are you?"

When she didn't answer, he grew concerned. He shouldn't have let her leave the safety of the shelter. Rev's heart started to beat harder, as if he was facing danger. He looked around, confused, not seeing any threat, and then he realized it wasn't him. Tracy was frightened.

"Tracy," he called urgently. Rev rounded a large rock and stopped short. Tracy stood there. Her back was pressed to the rock wall as a large sand colored snake rose before her. Its opened mouth revealed a line of razor sharp teeth. Tracy's face was as white as a sheet, and she barely breathed.

Rev stared in horror as the creature hissed at Tracy. He had no weapons on him, but he had to do something. He stamped his feet on the ground, hoping the vibration would draw the animal's attention. The animal whipped around and launched itself at Rev.

At the same time, Rev jumped and somersaulted over the beast, and he landed in front of Tracy. She looked at him with eyes wide. Spotting small rocks on the ground, he bent and picked them up, slinging them at the desert snake. Tracy, taking his cue, did the same, and soon both of them were peppering the animal with volley after volley of rocks. Its body jerked as the projectiles struck. Finally the animal gave up and slithered to a crevice in the rocks.

Tracy shivered as Rev took her hand and led her away. When they reached their shelter, she collapsed in his arms.

Rev pushed her hair away from her face. "Are you hurt?

"I hate snakes," she said. She was still shaking.

"It was more afraid of you, I think. It did not sound happy to see you."

"Did you see the teeth on that thing?"

"Yes," he said calmly.

"Yes! What if that thing had bit me?"

"It would have only attacked if you threatened it. It's an animal, and most of them retreat if possible. You just have to show them a way they can escape."

"It was a snake!" she declared, shaking.

"Why are you so afraid? It's gone now. As long as we don't disturb it, it won't bother us again." She stared at him incredulously.

"What if it bit me? You wouldn't have anything to counteract the venom and…"

"Tracy, is that what you are afraid of?"

"Of course."

"Snakes on earth have venom?"

She nodded her head. "Not all snakes, but many of them do. Some of them are deadly. When I was ten, I was bitten by a copperhead in a wood pile. I was so scared, and my hand swelled up. I vomited for hours. I was out of school for a week.

Rev nearly groaned learning this about his mate. It hit him again how different they were. There was so much they didn't know about each other.

Tracy couldn't have known that his species produced a venom that was released on a mating bite. To his own and some other species, it was addictive, like a drug. This particular feature of his people's anatomy was the reason why they gave up the old ways to enter galactic society. Otherwise, the AW Council would declare his planet an interdicted world, and they would have banned them from interacting with galactic society.

He was scared finding out that his mate was afraid of venom. If she knew this about him, she would be fearful of him. It stabbed his heart.

"I can never let anything happen to you, Tracy. You do not know how important you are to me. Whatever you want, whatever makes you happy, I will do it. Even if what you want is for me to go away."

The rising sun beat down on them as Rev held Tracy. In his strong muscled arms, she calmed down. Snakes. It had to be snakes that showed him how much of a wuss she could be.

"What was that you said?" she said. Her heart was beginning to calm.

"I'll do whatever you want to please you."

She reached up and ran her hand lightly on his green jaw. The morning light highlighted the handsome angles of his face, and his lips were very kissable.

She shook off the desire that threatened to spread through her body.

"It would please me if we could find out how Carol is."

He looked away, clearly unhappy with her statement.

"Besides, you said you didn't know when your people would come, and our supplies are running out fast. People are going to be our best chance of survival."

He nodded.

"You have an annoying habit." he said.

"What's that?"

"Of being right. As you wish. Tracy, we will travel to the miner's camp when the sun goes down."

"Yes, of course," she said, burrowing deeper into his arms. It didn't matter that the air was blast furnace hot. It felt good to be in his arms.

"In the meantime, we should get out of this sun and get some rest."

"Rest," she said with a smile. "Is that what you call it?"

It was her smile that set him off. In a microsecond, he had his mouth crushed to hers, seeking the sweetness of her lips and tongue. He couldn't help himself, and he didn't want to. Rev's people were idiots for giving up bonded mates just so they could travel the stars.

She groaned under him as he pressed his tongue into her mouth. The taste of her tongue was overwhelming. He had a need to take and fill her. It was clawing at him to lose control. Her skin was fever hot, and every part he tasted pushed him for more. As his tongue roamed her body, her musk filled his nose and clouded his head with one thought.

Mine.

His cock filled as he pressed against her, and the need to claim her drove him once more. A part of his brain told him this was craziness. No one claimed a mate with more than one mating bite. This wasn't right. This wasn't normal.

Rev didn't care.

He sucked at the tender flesh of her breasts, leaving big red marks on them. Rev licked her nipple, and it became hard at the touch of his tongue. He clamped his mouth around her entire pink nipple, sucking sharply, hungrily. He needed something more than just her flesh in his mouth. A thought crossed his mind that he might be hurting her, but she arched her back and put her legs around his waist, inviting him in.
