One Week Later
The capture crew put the abduction ship into geostationary orbit above the kill planet. This new crop of victims was a savvy bunch. It took some sophisticated lies to convince them that this was for their own good, and the good of their species.
The victims had
just been told that a strange alien ship was headed to their new colony. It would arrive shortly after they touched down. The strange ship belonged to a warrior race that had designs on taking the planet for themselves. The victims were energized now, and just in time for the drop off. Everything had gone according to plan after all.
The captain said to the ship, “Now that the victims are all prepped, open a line of communication to ground control.”
“Yes captain.”
The captain said, “Ground control. The al
iens are all ready to go here. We’re just waiting for orders to initiate the drop-off.”
When no one replied, the captain said, “Ground control? Are you ther
e? Please respond. Hello. Hello?
