(resh-dun). The head monarch of the loosely held nomadic horse clans of the northern plains areas or the Kingdom of Kaskar.

(rich-ion). Freiland monarch and former very successful raider.

Ritheud
(rith-y-ud). King of the dwarf clans in the Talinor Mountains, he wields a pure mithril double-bladed hand ax that can be thrown like Padonan’s glaive and a studded mace in his off hand.

Ronson
(ron-son). Land dragon battalion commander at Battle Point, he holds the rank of colonel.

(san-tor-ic). Pro-Alliance/dragon senator from the Draden Province.

Scandalon
(skan-dell-un). Brass dragon rider of Krysanth at Talinor Weir and shooter friend to Mkel.

Shaltor
(shal-tour). Senior wizard for Atlean Weir and member of the Wizard Council of Thirteen.

Sheer
(sheer). Infantry battalion commander of the Battle Point Legion.

Shumec
(shoo-mek). Arrogant Enlightened senator from Atlean.

Sighbolt
(cy-bolt). Rider of the bronze dragon Glaiventh and Weirleader of Machren Weir; this very seasoned dragonrider is a veteran of the Great War and mentor of Jmes before his death.

Slidess
(sly-dess). Rider of the silver dragon Trikenth and Weirleader of High Mountain Weir, a high-level wizard and monk.

Stalenjh
(stahl-enj). Head sorcerer of the Talon Council and very powerful, evil, and cruel leader/prefect under Tiamat of the Morgathian Empire.

Sternlan
(stern-lan). Supply sergeant of Draden Weir and decorated veteran of the Last Dragon War.

Sykes
(sykes). Chief of staff of the Battle Point Legion, he holds the rank of senior colonel.

Tabellen
(tar-bell-un). Squad sergeant in the garrison’s infantry company.

Taylag
(tay-log). Senior cleric for the Capital Weir.

Tbok
(tow-bock). Talon Covenant sorcerer and overlord of the Morgathian Empire’s easternmost province.

Tekend
(ta-kend). Outspoken Enlightened Party senator from Ferranor.

Telenkis
(tell-en-kis). Drow sorcerer at the battle of Handsdown.

Terrjok
(tear-jok). Wealthy Enlightened senator from Denar.

Therosvet
(ter-os-vet). Rider of the gold dragon Valianth, senior rider in the Capital Wing and second in command of all draconic forces, or General Becknor’s executive officer; Therosvet wields a mighty dragonstone-powered mithril mace and holds the rank of senior colonel.

Toderan
(tow-der-in). Senior weir sergeant, paladin, and second in command of Keystone Weir, as well as close friend and confidant to Mkel.

Tomsfred
(toms-fred). Pro-Alliance/dragon senator from the Eladran Province.

Tomslan
(toms-lan). Support corps commander for Battle Point, he holds the rank of colonel.

Turbic
(tur-bick). Enlightened Party senator from Ice Bay Province.

Turjon
(tur-jhan). Rider of the bronze dragon Raptoth and Weirleader of Lancastra Weir, he is uniquely known as the “gentleman dragonrider.” Very intelligent, he is distinctive as a human, in being a fighter and a wizard. His slightly curved thin rapier dragonstone weapon also doubles as his wizard’s staff.

(ty-lorn). Son of the slain senior legionnaire and Debesora at Handsdown.

Vasterlan
(vast-er-lan). Talon sorcerer, member of the Covenant and overlord of the central province of the Morgathian Empire.

Vaughnir
(vahn-eer). Senior platoon sergeant of the second platoon of the garrison’s infantry company.

Vermax
(vair-max). Rider of the silver dragon Tyrenth and Weirleader of Ice Bay Weir; a hardened fighter, he wields a powerful dragonstone broadsword and a medium-sized mithril-lined shield with a centrally mounted dragonstone that adds to the magic shield power of his sword capable of projecting a magic barrier.

Vicasek
(va-kay-sek). A female captain of the weir’s support corps company and savvy fighter in her own right.

Vorgalla
(vor-gall-ah). High priestess and powerful drow cleric captured at the battle of Handsdown.

Vorten
(vor-ten). Stalenjh’s apprentice, a ruthless but cautious sorcerer and courter of his master’s daughter.

Warrenton
(wahr-en-ton). Alliance’s first premier and one of the Founding Council members.

Watterseth
(wa-ter-seth). Senior and very powerful cleric of Draden Weir, he is the spiritual head of the weir and wields a powerful dragonstone-embedded holy mace.

Wheelor
(wheel-or). Leader of the Draden Weir’s land dragon platoon, he holds the rank of lieutenant.

Willaward
(will-a-word). The catapult section leader for Draden Weir, he holds the rank of senior lieutenant.

Willjon
(will-john). Rider of the gold dragon Eagrenth of the Capital Weir Wing.

Xylest
(zyl-est). Yveshra’s consort, a high-level drow sorcerer/fighter.

Yveshra
(ya-vesh-ra). A powerful female drow cleric and countess to the drow queen Lolth.

Zelmellor
(za-mell-ur). Pro-Alliance senator from the Atlean area.

Zewal
(ze-wall). High admiral of the Alliance Navy, he holds the rank of admiral of the Alliance.

Zitron
(zy-tron). Officer candidate at Draden Weir.
