It’s been almost three years
since everything happened with my birth mother. She has moved out of Alabama and doesn’t contact us at all. I still see my grandparents on the holidays.

My father has remarried now and she is amazing, her name is Carlie but I call her mommy. She is super nice and she treats me as if I was her own. I’ve never told The Kelley
’s about my mother’s infatuation with Mr. Kelley and they never ask about my mother. My father had no clue that my mother was in love with Dexter, until that day I told him.

   My Hubby and my fur baby- Jay thank you, for your continued support and understanding. There are a lot of times that you make your own dinner, or wash dishes and clean. Because I’m too busy writing, thank you for always taking care of Sophie and me. Sophie, I’m sorry we don’t play ball as much as we used too. Thank you for lying next to me and not barking at me while I write. I promise to give you extra treats. Jay the two of you are my world, I would be lost without you. I love you both.

My Mom- Thank you for all of your continued support and listening to me rant and rave about my characters and all of my ideas. I love you so much.

Nikki- I miss you so much bestie. Please continue to watch over me, I know you would be so proud of me and attend every signing. R.I.P 8/7/1978-9/23/2007

Heather- Thank you for everything, you have been one of my best friends for over twenty-years, and have always had my back. It means a lot to me that you, love my books just as much as I do. I just wish we didn’t live so far apart.

Amber Nation- My Facebook best friend. Thank you for all of your continued support and encouragement. Although we haven’t met yet, I feel like I’ve known you for years. Our daily brainstorming talks are great, I wish there weren’t millions of miles between us. Can’t wait to meet you and attend signings together.

Casey Bond- My Facebook twin. You’ve become an amazing friend, thank you for all of your encouragement and for loving my characters the way I do. I know you are very busy and taking the time out to read anything, I send you means a lot to me. Can’t wait to meet you, my southern friend.

My name is Delisa Lynn, I grew up in Columbus Ohio. I’m currently residing in Western New York. I love music, all generations, I do have a soft spot for country and 80’s hair bands. My favorite season is fall, I love the weather that time of the year, watching the leaves change and most of all being able to watch football. Go Bucks!! I am also a 49ers fan and New York Yankees fan. My favorite color is pink, not baby pink hot pink. I’m married to my high school sweetheart, we’ve been together going on nineteen years, sometimes I can’t stand him but I wouldn’t trade him for the world. I love you Jay. Our baby is a five year old spoiled Yorki named Sophie and yes she thinks she is human.

I’ve always had a passion for reading and writing. I have very vivid imagination and have always felt I should express it in writing. But I took a different career path, I worked in retail photography for sixteen years. Then I chose to work in the medical field.  Last year, I decided I was going to follow my dream and write a novel. I never imagined it would turn into a series with eight books.  I’m so glad it did, because I love it. When I’m not writing you can find me snuggled with my hubby watching a movie, or cuddled in the corner of the couch with my fur baby reading.
