She felt like she was going to explode and when Nate’s eyes caught hers she almost did.  Mackenzie was so wet and excited, mewling with delight and desperation as he tormented her.  He nipped at her, licked and kissed her, all the while trailing the feather along her skin as the hauntingly beautiful music played on repeat.  It was driving her wild.  She needed more, she needed something, he was moving too slowly, too lost in the moment.  Her hands moved to cup her heavy breasts, squeezing them gently while Nate continued his silent assault.

His eyes focused on her hands as she massaged herself.  He trailed the feather over her neck.  She closed her eyes and bit her lower lip.  Nate used his other hand to slide it between her legs, feeling her wetness on his fingers he salivated at the thought of tasting her.

“Oh god,” Mackenzie moaned, lifting her hips off the bed as he inserted two fingers.

“Feel good?”

“Yes … Sir.  So good.”

He moved his hand away and she opened her green eyes, giving him a dirty look that would have made him chuckle if he wasn’t so damn ‘rock-hard’ aroused.

“Please, Sir,” she begged, her eyes widening when he brought his fingers to his mouth and licked them.  Her hips rotating off the bed on a moan.

“Tell me what you want, Mackenzie,” he said, sliding his finger from his lips.

“You.  I want you, Sir.”

“Yes.  I am aware of that.  But what would you like me to do exactly?”

“I want …” she panted, squeezing her breasts together.  His eyes were drawn to her hands as she did that, his cock straining painfully at the sight.  “Your cock inside me.  Now.”

“Good answer.”

He tossed the feather aside, moved down the bed and grabbed Mackenzie’s legs, maneuvering them until her calves were resting on his shoulders.  He sat on his own legs, scooped her hips upwards and, grabbing hold of his shaft, he pressed it to her clit.  She moaned in appreciation as he moved himself against her slickness.  He spread the moisture to her tight puckered hole and could clearly see how aroused she was, her body open and on display for him.  He reached to her side, grabbing the small vibrator he’d placed there earlier.  He inserted it into her pussy for only enough time to coat it properly before pressing it against her back entrance.  This time she didn’t flinch but groaned in pleasure instead.  He pressed the tip against her again before inserting it just a little.  He rubbed it there before pushing it in further still.

“That’s it, relax, papillon,” he coaxed, pleased with her response.

“Sir,” she called on a gasp.

Mackenzie felt the vibrator pass a barrier.  She could feel her body opening more, accepting the intrusion.  Sir leaned forward and pushed his cock inside her, penetrating her on two counts.  The overwhelming feeling of fullness was delicious.  She moaned as he moved both himself in her pussy and the vibrator in her ass.

“Oh god.”

“Fuck.”  He pushed his cock harder and faster, groaning with his own pleasure.

And then he turned the vibrator on.  Mackenzie screamed.  “
Oh my god!”
She’d never felt anything like it.

“Hold off for as long as you can,” Nate demanded, pushing in and out of her faster, trying to stave his own climax.  He adjusted his angle.  He was barely holding on.  Mackenzie made some sort of loud garbled sound, squeezing her eyes shut tight.  “Open your eyes.”  She did but they were unfocused, blurred with desire and unable to latch onto his.  He used his free hand to rub on her clit.  He rubbed it hard and fast, watching her lips form an overstimulated O.  “Squeeze your nipples.”  She shook her head a little against the bed, her hands remaining at her sides.  “Do it,” he demanded.

She blinked hard and then did as she was told.  He watched her hands limply grab hold of her own nipples and then drop back down when her body began to shake violently.  He could feel the vibrator and her body clenching around him.  She shuddered in a huge climax and he ejaculated hard at the mixed sensations and the look on her face as he sent her over the edge.

When they’d both come down Mackenzie started shaking uncontrollably.  Nate quickly removed himself and the vibrator, placed her legs on the bed, then stood, gathering her in his arms so that he could pull the duvet out from under her.  He returned her to the bed and tucked her in, turned off the music and then climbed in beside her.  She continued to shake and he wrapped her in his arms, drawing her against his body.

“Are you okay?” he murmured against her neck after a while.  He spooned her and continually rubbed his hands up and down her arms as he held her close.  She was breathing rapidly but her trembling was finally subsiding.

“Nate, wh-what was that?”  Mackenzie let out a shaky breath.

“That was fucking fantastic is what that was.”  He spoke with awe and a ragged breath of his own.  He’d never experienced anything like that before.

“Phenomenal,” she said with a giggle.

“Absolutely in-
fucking-
credible,” he agreed, pressing a kiss to the back of her head.

“Where did you learn…?  You know what, I don’t want to know.”

He re-positioned them both on the bed so that Mackenzie was lying on her back looking up at him.  He needed to see her face.  She needed to see the sincerity in his features when he spoke.

“I have never,
ever
done anything quite like that before,” he assured her.  “What
we
have is unique.”

Mackenzie sighed.  She wished it was unique but she couldn’t help wonder about who else had experienced such overwhelming encounters with him.  She wasn’t naïve enough to believe that he hadn’t used toys and his techniques on others.
God, I’ve seen him leave the bar with enough women to know that!

But she was too tired to argue, so she let it go.

He kissed her tenderly on the lips and snuggled back against her.  Happily sated and both exhausted, they drifted to sleep.

“Why do you insist on calling me butterfly?” Mackenzie asked the next night.  Simon had again dropped her off at Nate’s apartment after work.  She’d just spent the last hour and a half handcuffed to his bed while he played Nine Inch Nails and tormented her whole body with his tongue.
Not a bad way to spend an evening.
And though it was late and she was once again physically exhausted she couldn’t shut her brain off.  Butterfly or papillon – it was something she had wondered about since that first night.

“Because butterflies are beautiful.”  Nate lay by her side, holding her chin with his thumb and forefinger, his eyes burning into hers.  “They’re fascinating
and intelligent, unique and precious.”

“They’re also flighty and live short lives,” Mackenzie said with a cheeky grin.

“You’re not going anywhere,” he said gruffly, squeezing her chin and pulling her hips tightly against his.  She silently agreed, there was nowhere she’d rather be. “Some people collect butterflies because of their beauty,” he continued.  Mackenzie craned her neck to look up at him.  His eyes wandered her face as hers did his.  “They keep them in glass jars or pin them to boards.  I don’t mind pinning you down.”  He winked and a thrill pulsated through her body.

Mackenzie tensed a moment later, when the words repeated in her mind.  She wondered aloud, “I hope I’m not just one for the collection.”  She swallowed the pain that encompassed her at that incomprehensible thought.  She didn’t want to be just another possession.  She wanted more than that.  It scared her how much more of him she craved.

A second after the words had left her mouth he was on top of her, his body crushing hers against the mattress.  His hands squeezing hers tightly above her head.  The breath left her body in a whoosh.  He stared at her with dark and forceful eyes as his body pressed down on her, his mouth hovering close enough to hers that she could taste his breath.

“You are the
only
butterfly I’ve
ever
wanted to keep.”  His voice didn’t waver.  He spoke severely and with meaning.  His eyes bored into her soul, conveying the sentiment that he owned her.  And he did.  Right then, she knew it.

He. Owned. Her.

Desire again flooded her body.  Mackenzie squirmed under his hold, wanting to feel his thick hardness between her thighs.  Instead of giving her what she was sure he knew she wanted, he stilled, pulling back to speak.

“That’s the look,” he said, pushing hair from her face, staring at her intently.

“What look?”  Her face scrunched up and immediately ‘the look’ was gone.

“When you look at me like you just did, it’s as if you’re whispering sweet nothings in my ear.”

“Really?” she asked incredulously.
What a romantic thing to say.

“Yes.  It’s the look that tells me you’re falling for me too.”

“Falling for … too?”  She swallowed the lump in her throat then whispered, “You’re not falling for me.”

His expression told her he disagreed.

“No, it’s just lust.”  She shook her head.  “We are totally in lust with each other.”

“It’s more than that, Mackenzie.”

“Don’t act stupid.”  As much as she wanted it, she didn’t want to fool herself into believing he was falling in love with her, too.  She didn’t want to have her heart crushed when this was over.

“Did you just call me stupid?”  He chuckled, his body vibrating against hers as he did.  “No one’s ever called me stupid before, well, except for Tom, but brothers don’t count.”

“I didn’t call you stupid.  I said you were
acting
stupid.  There is a difference.”

“I love that!”

“What?”

“That you tell it like it is.  You’re never afraid to call me on my shit.  You have no fear, Mackenzie.  You don’t care who I am, you’re just … you.”

“I don’t know how to be anyone else,” she murmured, uncomfortably.  The look of wonder on Nate’s face was too much.
Could he really mean it?  Love?

“Just another reason why I admire you, Mackenzie.  You just need to admit your true feelings to yourself before you can say them aloud, that’s all.  This thing, between us … it’s more than lust.”  He brushed the side of her nose with his own before looking at her again.  “Lust is wanting to sleep with someone.  But love … love is wanting to wake up beside them the next morning.”

And though she had been arguing with him and denying his feelings, as well as her own, she knew he was right about one thing –
she
was already more than halfway there.

She felt his cock twitch against her opening and she moaned.

“You drive me crazy!  I’ve never been so constantly hard in all my life,” he said, his eyes wide.  He squeezed her hands that were still positioned above them on the bed.  “I just cannot get enough of you.”

He lifted his hips and slid effortlessly inside her.  They moaned in unison as he began moving at a slow and even pace.

“I can’t get enough of you either, Sir.”

He paused, suddenly realizing that Sir coming from those lips when he was buried deep inside her,
in this way
, felt wrong.  So very wrong.  This wasn’t just some random woman, she wasn’t just a submissive play thing, she was Mackenzie, keeper of his heart.

“What?” Mackenzie asked.

He stared into the depths of her beautiful green eyes.  He wanted to be her Nate.  He wanted her to love him and treat him like no other.

“Mackenzie.  I’m going to make love to you now.  Please call me Nate.”

“What?  But I …” Mackenzie’s voice trailed off with confusion.
Make love?  This can’t really be happening …
She couldn’t deny him though.  He may believe, in this moment, that he was falling for her and though she didn’t really believe it, she wanted it to be true.  She also wanted to call him Nate.  He moved inside her and she squeezed her eyes shut briefly before whispering, “Nate,” on a moan.

With their fingers entwined on the pillow above Mackenzie’s head they slowly and gently rocked against each other.  They remained silent, their eyes focused on one another, with only the softest of moans escaping as they came together a few long moments later.

Nate nestled his nose into Mackenzie’s hair, his arms wrapped around her middle and pulled her close, her back to his front.  He traced a figure eight pattern on her hip, his fingers slowing down as he started to fall asleep.

Though Mackenzie knew she should just go to sleep already, she was still having trouble shutting off her brain.  What they just did was intense.  ‘Making love’ was such a foreign concept to her, she’d never felt anything like that and it scared her.  She was trying her best to keep her thoughts on that buried, which of course made her think of other more random things.

“You don’t smoke much,” she mused.

Mackenzie’s voice snapped him awake.  “No,” he mumbled.

“How do you do that?  I mean, you’re either addicted or you’re not, right?”

“If you haven’t noticed by now I like having control.  I won’t let a need for cigarettes dictate my body.  I don’t need them.”  He tugged her against him and nuzzled her neck, his short stubble scratching her skin in just the right way.  “Besides,” he whispered, rubbing his nose below her ear, “I have a new addiction.”

She swallowed before asking, “Me?”

“The one and only.”

Mackenzie absently let her eyes wander about the dark room as she took in his words.  “Nate?”

“Yes?”  His eyes snapped open again.

“Why do you live here?  I mean, this apartment, it doesn’t really seem like you.”

“It doesn’t?”

“No.  Your house, or mansion rather, seemed much more inviting.  More personable.  More Nate-like.  Am I right?”

Nate smiled against the back of Mackenzie’s head before placing a kiss there.  She was absolutely right and he loved her in that moment.  He loved that she had guessed that about him.  The house was where he wanted to live, one day.  The apartment was only a convenience.

“This place came fully-furnished, by a high profile designer, I’ll have you know.  But you are right, I much prefer the house.”

“Me too.”

“Mackenzie?”

“Yes?”

“It’s almost three and I have a conference call at six.  Do you think we could go to sleep now?”

“Sorry.”

He squeezed her tighter and whispered, “Don’t ever apologize for being you.  I love how chatty you’ve become.  But I’m exhausted.”

Mackenzie smiled in the darkness.  She loved being in his arms and, her fears aside, she loved where they seemed to be headed.  “Nate?”

“Yes?” he huffed in annoyance, causing her smile to broaden.

“Good night.”

“Good night, Mackenzie.”

Mackenzie woke as soon as Nate’s arms disappeared from around her body.  She rolled over and tried to go back to sleep but her mind wouldn’t shut off.  Flashes of the night before had her wide awake.
Could they really be falling in love?

Light crept in from the edges of the heavy drapes and when Nate took too long to return Mackenzie climbed from the bed.  Remembering how much he loved when she wore his lilac shirt the other day, she collected Nate’s white business shirt and put it on.  Also recalling his aversion to ties she picked up his red one from where it’d been left on the floor the night before and fastened it around her neck.  She lifted it to her nose and, closing her eyes, she inhaled the strong scent of his cologne.  It was so intoxicating she couldn’t help but smile at the feelings it conjured deep within her body, so she went in search of the man she couldn’t stop thinking about.

It didn’t take her long to find him.  He was seated behind a large desk in his home office, wearing nothing but a pair of black satin pyjama pants.  He was talking seriously, his desk phone on speaker, a few different voices filtering in.  Mackenzie didn’t pay any attention to what was said, she was too mesmerized by the sight of the hot billionaire in his element.  She wondered what the people on the other end of the line would think if they could see his casual attire, complete with bare chest and feet, right now.
