From this day forward, let it be known that a new decree has been set forth by the five remaining Divine. As a result of the Great Battle of the Covens, a new order has been established amongst the Primeval Coven to avoid any further conflict between Hunters and Witches. All laws are effective immediately upon recording:
Anti-Feuding between Hunters and Witches Law:
1. An annual Culling ceremony will commence at the Night Watchmen Academy on every Samhain for each impending novice. Every Primeval child who reaches maturation is
required
to attend or will be stripped of their powers and banished from the Coven. Each impending novice will report to the Academy for their territory. If the impending novice’s date of birth falls on our after the thirty-first day of October, they will be required to attend next year’s Culling ceremony. There will be
no
exceptions.
1.1 During the Culling ceremony, impending novices will be determined a partner within the new holy affinity bond based on their mutual strengths. From this day forward, the affinity bond will link a Hunter to a Witch through their power. None shall be able to use his or her power without the other in their presence from this moment on. We will learn to work together.
2. Those who are already deemed Night Watchmen will report to Ethryeal City to be placed with an affinity partner. Failure to report will be an automatic sentencing to the Underground.
United Nations Awareness Law:
1. Humans will remain under Night Watchmen guardianship. Each affinity bond will be given a sector of a city or town where they will live and patrol.
1.1 Night Watchmen will be responsible for the activity in their area and will report to their assigned Elder.
1.2 Elders will be selected by the High Priesthood and given a city/town to lead. They will be responsible for guiding their Watchmen.
1.3 All High Priests/Priestesses will be given a state or territory to watch over. Elders set in place will report to the High Priesthood in case of any abnormal activity spike.
2. The United Nations will fund the Academies and the Coven under the stipulation that the Night Watchmen remain a secret society.
2.1 It is the responsibility of the Night Watchmen to keep the paranormal a myth to humans.
3. NO HUMAN IS TO EVER BE HARMED.
Primeval Population Declination Law:
1. All affinity bonds will be male/female.
1.1 Consummation of a partnership is not required, but it is required that you procreate with another member in the Coven to keep the bloodlines pure.
1.2 If a member is caught with a being outside of our Coven, they will be brought to Ethryeal City for sentencing.
2. All births will be reported and recorded in Ethryeal City, and all children will be raised within the Coven.
3. Any and all Defects within the Coven will be banished to prevent the warped gene from spreading.
3.1 Defects will be determined on the day of the Culling.
Any who do not uphold the Coven standards will be taken to Ethryeal City for sentencing. You will find the number to your assigned Elder at the bottom. They will have answers for any remaining questions and will direct you to Ethryeal City.
