About the Author

Sara Hantz
was born in Northampton, England, the eldest of four children (she has three younger brothers). School and Sara weren’t a match made in heaven. She was bored a lot of the time, and it seemed much more fun to dream up ways of disrupting lessons than to actually pay attention. Which could explain why she was always in trouble! But she redeemed herself later, when at twenty-one she went back to full-time study. Except she got carried away and became a bit of a “qualification tart.” She even worked in education for a number of years—lecturing.

But all that time, she was never content. She knew there was something missing, but just didn’t know what. Until she discovered writing.

She wasn’t one of those people who wrote as a small child. She did read, though, avidly. And it took her a few years of thinking about writing before she actually started. But now, she wouldn’t do anything else, and she never gets bored!

She moved to New Zealand (a beautiful country) from the UK fourteen years ago with her husband and four children. After working at a university for three years, she left to work in their hotel and devote more time to her writing. She wishes she’d done it sooner! Two years ago, she moved to the Sunshine Coast in Australia—another perfect place to write.

In her spare time, she loves going to the movies, watching TV, walking on the beach, and playing with her gorgeous Labrador. She loves to hear from readers. Visit

Ten Things Sloane Hates About Tru

a novel by Tera Lynn Childs

For Sloane Whitaker, leaving behind her NYC friends and starting over senior year at Austin’s NextGen Academy is the worst. If she wants to earn her way back to the Big Apple, it means no vandalism art, no trouble at school, and absolutely no Tru Dorsey—her neighbor who loves nothing more than pushing her buttons. But from the moment he vaults onto the roof outside her bedroom, there is something about him that makes her want to break every rule.

Playing the Player

a novel by
Lisa Brown Roberts

Trina Clemons needed the money. Why else would she—the most organized student in school—spend the summer as a nanny and partner with Slade Edmunds, the biggest slacker ever? Now she’s ready to tackle nannyhood. Just don’t ask her about the secret job of “fixing” the bad habits of Slade. Trina’s all structure and rules, while Slade wants to just have fun. Then the weirdest thing happens. There’s chemistry. A
lot
of it. But nothing gets between a boy and a girl like a big, fat secret…

Finding Perfect

a novel by
Kendra C. Highley

When “Perfect Paige” Westfeld gets a “D” on her calculus test, her dreams of Stanford, her reputation, and her parents’ expectations begin to crumble. Ben Franklin may be from the wrong side of town, but he knows an opportunity when he sees one. He’ll tutor Paige—if she sets him up with her best friend, the hottest girl in school. It’s the perfect plan. Unless the inconvenient—and utterly imperfect—attraction simmering between Ben and Paige ruins everything first…

Aimee and the Heartthrob

a
Backstage Pass
novel by
Ophelia London

Seconds to Juliet member Miles Carlisle is every teen girl’s fantasy. The only girl he’s interested in, however, is not only his best friend’s sister, but won’t even give him the time of day. Aimee Bingham used to have a serious crush on Miles, until he broke her young heart. Only now that she’s grown into a full-fledged hottie, Miles is interested. Worse still, Aimee’s crush is definitely making a comeback. But everyone knows that falling for a heartthrob is a backstage pass to heartbreak…
