Chapter Three

“Rebecca, I hope I haven’t kept you waiting too long. It’s been kind of hectic around here this morning,” Samantha said as she walked hurriedly into her office.

“Not at all,” I replied politely.

Samantha was a bit intimidating in her appearance, but I chalked it up to her having obtained her position at such a young age. Not many women became CEO’s before they were out of their twenties. She obviously had to be tough to get to where she was.

“Did you get settled into your new place this week-end?”

“I did. I had pretty much gotten everything taken care of when I was here last week. All I had to do was unpack.”

“That’s great.” Her smile was genuine and put my first day jitters at ease. “Are you ready to get to work?”

“I can’t wait.”

“Great! I’m going to introduce you around the office and then pair you up with one of our other accountants so that you can get a feel for how we work around here.”

“This is your office,” she said opening the door. “I took the liberty of stocking a few supplies for you. If you come across anything else that you need, just let Jenna know and she’ll get it for you. You can also feel free to redecorate.”

“I like it just the way it is. It’s an amazing office,” I gushed.

“Well, get settled in and I will be back in a few minutes with the accountant that you will be working with today. Don’t forget, if you need anything, Jenna will take care of it.”

I sat down at the desk and looked around my new office. I was in heaven. I was a senior accountant at my old job and my office wasn’t this nice. It was definitely a step up for me. The only thing I planned to change about it was the placement of some of the furniture. Even the artwork that adorned the walls was exquisite.

I was admiring one of the paintings when I heard Samantha’s voice in the doorway. To say I was shocked when I saw who was with her would be an understatement. Images from the night before, mixed with a feeling of dread flooded my mind.

“Neil?”

“This is a surprise,” he said as his beautiful smile lit up his face.

“Do you two know each other already?” Samantha asked curiously.

“Neil and I actually live in the same building. We met when I was moving in this week-end.” I quickly answered, trying to hide my surprise.

“That’s great,” Samantha smiled. “At least you know someone here already. I’ll leave you two to get to work.”

Neil closed the door to my office behind Samantha and walked to me.

“You look beautiful,” he began as he tried to put his arms around me.

I grabbed his hands and stopped him.

“What happened last night would have never happened if I had known,” I told him as I walked to my desk.

I was starting to sweat from the uncomfortable moment. I knew that any relationship that Neil and I might have had would have to come to an end immediately. There was no way that I could continue to sleep with someone that I was working with.

“You mean you can just put it out of your memory that quickly?”

I turned back to see him standing there with his arms crossed and a smirk on his face. He was sexy even as he was taunting me. I felt that burning fire deep inside me and I tried to extinguish it quickly.

“You’re supposed to show me the ropes around here. Let’s get started. I’m anxious to get to work.”

“Okay. I get it. It’s all business here. I can handle that,” he agreed. “Did Samantha give you a tour?”

“A short one and she introduced me to most everyone.”

“I’ll give you a full tour of the building later. Let’s start looking at your clients’ files.”

“Every one of these files is a wreck,” I said in frustration. “I’m going to have to spend a lot time just straightening them out to see what’s in them. I’m guessing the last person in this office wasn’t really detail oriented.”

“Not really,” Neil answered. “That might be why he is no longer with us.”

“That’s going to change,” I said as I searched through the desk drawers. “I can’t work with disorganization.”

“What are you looking for?”

“File folders.”

“Come on. I’ll show you where we keep supplies.”

I couldn’t keep my eyes off of him as I followed him down the hall

His slacks were just loose enough to camouflage his muscular thighs and tight ass, but also fitted enough to make you wonder just what was under there. I didn’t have to wonder. I had been privileged enough to know first-hand what they concealed. His tight shirt strained against his muscular torso and I thought about how I had felt every ripple and bulge of his magnificent body.

My heart was racing again and I could feel beads of perspiration forming on my skin.

“Are you okay?” Neil asked.

“I’m fine. Why?” I tried to sound casual.

“Your face is very flushed and it looks like you’re sweating. I hope you aren’t catching something.”

“I’m okay. It’s just first day jitters, I think.”

“This is our supply room,” Neil changed the subject when he stopped in front of a door on the left of the hall. “Everything that you could possibly need is in here. The folders are over there on that wall, pens, paper, and other small supplies are here.”

I had already started gathering up a few things before he could finish pointing everything out. I was trying desperately to get my mind off of him and back on business. My arms were full of supplies and the top box started to slide. Neil saw it and quickly grabbed it before it hit the floor.

“Let me carry that for you,” he offered.

His chivalry was delightful, but it also put him closer to me than I was comfortable with at that moment. I gladly allowed him to take the stack of boxes from my arms, but he quickly sat them down on a small table.

“Rebecca,” he quietly said, taking my hands.

“Don’t,” I protested slightly.

“Ssshhh. Just listen for a minute.”

His big brown eyes pleaded with me and I let my guard down.

“No one ever has to know. I can be discreet.” His tone was serious. “The truth is, I haven’t been able to get you out of my mind since the other night.”

“Neil, the other night was the first time that I have ever done anything like that, and I honestly think it needs to be the last.”

I pulled away and turned my back to him. I couldn’t let him see my eyes. I knew that he would be able to see through my words to my true feelings.

“You didn’t enjoy it?” he asked.

I took a deep shaky breath and picked up the boxes again.

“Of course I did, but…”

I could feel him close behind me and my pulse was racing. He leaned down and I felt his breath on the back of my neck. His lips touched my neck and fire shot through my body.  I was shaking so badly that the stack of boxes tumbled out of my arms. His arms circled me and my knees became instantly weak.

His hands were under my skirt and pulling at the edge of my panties. I rested the weight of my body on my arms and spread my legs. I didn’t even try to protest. Neil would have known it wasn’t real. His hand was inside my panties and he could feel how wet I was.

His fingers explored my slick pussy, sliding easily inside and returning quickly to my hard clit. His other hand had found its way under my shirt and inside my bra. His fingers lightly teased my aching nipples. I couldn’t take it any longer.

“Fuck me,” I whispered.

“Are you sure?” he teased.

“I have never been more sure.”

Neil used one hand to release his cock from his pants, while the other pulled my panties to the side. He pushed his thickness inside of me easily. Both hands gripped my hips and he slowly moved back and forth. I could feel the entire length of his cock moving in and out of me agonizingly slow. I propped myself up on my hands and propelled backwards into him, trying to encourage him to fuck me harder and faster. He finally took the hint and increased his speed.

The sound of our skin slapping together echoed in the room. I stifled my own sounds of pleasure. I didn’t want to risk anyone hearing us and figuring out what was going on inside that little supply room. That was not the impression that I wanted to make on my first day of work.

“Stop,” I managed in between my jagged breaths.

“Is something wrong?” Neil asked as he slowing pulled his cock out of me.

“No,” I said as I dropped to my knees.

His erect shaft was begging for my attention. I slowly licked the underside of it, following the large purple vein that ran the length of it. My tongue flickered around his large purple head and back down the shaft. I could taste my own secretions as I licked up and down.

Neil sucked in a very loud breath when I took his cock into my mouth. I slowly licked and sucked, taking a little more in my mouth with each stroke. He gripped my head with his hands and his hips were matching my rhythm.

I wrapped my fingers around the base of his shaft and used my hand to stroke what I couldn’t get in my mouth. My other hand was between my legs, rubbing my own soaked pussy. I sucked and stroked his cock faster while I slid my first two fingers inside myself. The slurping sounds from between my legs could only be matched by the sounds of my working his cock with my mouth. Thankfully, they both muffled the sounds of my moans.

I could feel my orgasm beginning as I tasted the tiny drops that were beginning to ooze from his cock. I wanted nothing more than for him to unload his sweet cream in my throat. I sucked and stroked his shaft harder. My fingers were held prisoner between my legs as my muscles constricted around them. I felt his cock pulse as the liquid hit the back of my throat. I swallowed hard and continued sucking. I savored every drop that flowed from him.

Neil released my head and looked up at him. His head was tilted back and his eyes were closed. A serene look of satisfaction had consumed his handsome young face. His chest was heaving with each breath.

“That was amazing,” he finally said while he helped me to my feet.

“Yes it was,” I agreed. “We should probably get out of here before people start looking for us though.”

Our timing could not have been more perfect. Samantha was passing the door to the supply room just as we walked out. She was notably surprised when the door opened.

“Ah! There you two are.”

“Did you need me for something?” I asked

“No. I just stopped by your office to see how things were going. I saw the clutter on the desk and was afraid you ran screaming from the building.”

“No. Not at all,” I nervously laughed. “I needed a few things and didn’t want to bother Jenna. Neil was kind enough to show me where everything is.”

“That’s good. I knew Neil would take good care of you. That’s why I selected him to help you. I’ll let you two get back to work. I know you have your work cut out for you with that mess in there. I do apologize for that.”

“He’s taking very good care of me,” I smiled innocently in his direction. “I’ll get everything straightened out in no time and have that office so organized you won’t even recognize it.”

“I sure hope so,” Samantha said as she walked off.

Neil and I flashed knowing smiles at each other. We both knew that we barely escaped getting caught. Neither of us said a word on the way back to my new office.

A week ago I would never have thought that I would find myself involved with a man his age. Now I had a battle going on inside my head. One voice was telling me to end it immediately. As I watched Neil’s perfect body walk down the hall in front of me, the other voice told me that I was crazy if I did. What did it matter if it didn’t last? Was it really so wrong to have a gorgeous young man that could service every need you had? The one thing that I was completely sure of was the fact that he had helped me find a part of myself that had been lost. I hadn’t felt this alive and desirable in many years. The purely hedonist side of me won that battle. As long as we managed to keep our secret from everyone in the office, there was no way that I was going to let this one get away before our passion had run its course.

Chapter Four

I hadn’t made any plans to see Neil that night because we had both had a busy week at work. I felt like I needed some time to recharge myself, and I was pretty sure that he did too. Don’t get me wrong, our relationship had not dulled. In fact, it had become much more intense. I enjoyed every bit of his attention, but I welcomed that Friday night alone. My only plans were to have a not-so-nutritious dinner of popcorn and soda and to watch whatever mindless thing that caught my interest on television.

I still didn’t know that many people in town, so the knock at the door startled me. I was even more shocked when I opened the door and saw Kyle standing there.

“What are you doing here?’ came flying out of my mouth in that moment of surprise.

“I expected at least a hello,” he sarcastically responded.

“I’m sorry, but you’re the last person I expected to see here.”

“I’ve signed the divorce papers. I thought I would take a week-end trip to bring them to you.”

“You could have mailed them or left them with your attorney. You didn’t have to come all the way up here.”

“I wanted to talk with you. Can I come in for a few minutes?”

Against my better judgment, I let him in my apartment. I certainly wasn’t going to encourage him to stay any longer than necessary or lead him on by offering him anything to drink or any other courtesies.

“Nice place you have here,” he commented as he walked around the living room. “I see you haven’t spent a lot of time decorating it.”

“It’s home and I like it this way. I don’t have a lot of time for frivolous things these days. Now, what do you want to talk about?”

Kyle sat down on the sofa and spread his arms across the back. He crossed his right ankle across his left knee and stared at me. His arrogance was nauseating. We had been so in love at one time and now I didn’t even want to be in the same room with him.

“It’s time for you to come home, Rebecca. You’ve had your little vacation and I won’t even ask about any indiscretions that you’ve had. I forgive you. Now, let’s get your things and get you back where you belong.”

“Is that what you think this is? Are you that oblivious to what has been going on with us, or better yet, what hasn’t been going on with us? This isn’t some little vacation and I haven’t had any indiscretions, as you put it. I told you when I left that I was done. I’m not going back with you. I have a life here now.”

“So you’re seeing someone. I get it now,” he said getting up and walking toward me. “It’s all about sex.”

I backed away from him. I think I was honestly scared of him at that moment. There was a look in his eyes that I had never seen before. It was almost like he was being consumed by a jealous monster at the thought of me sleeping with someone else.

I winced at the pain of bumping my head on the door when he backed me into it. He propped his arm on the door frame above my head and stared down at me. I looked around the room for something that could help me get away from him, but there was nothing. I couldn’t overpower him because I was so much smaller. I tried to hide my fear and stand my ground, but my heavy breathing gave me away.

“Who is he?”

“Who is who?” I feebly attempted to play innocent.

His laughed was a cross between mocking me and amusement.

“The guy you’re fucking, that’s who?”

“What I’m doing or who I’m doing it with is none of your business. You didn’t want to work things out when I left, so it’s over. It’s time for you to leave.”

I pushed against his chest and he stepped backwards. I tried to move away from him, but he grabbed my arm and yanked me back. I lost my balance and he caught me before I hit the floor. His grip on my arms was painful. I tried to pull away, but couldn’t.

“You know what? If sex is the problem, I can fix that.”

His lips pressed hard on my mouth. His tongue tried to push my lips apart, but I refused him access.  I struggled harder against his grip, but he wouldn’t let up. In one smooth movement, he wrapped one arm around my waist and the other hand was tugging at my shirt. He was trying to pull it out of my jeans, but my movements were not making it easy. I had to do something, but what?

Finally it came to me. He never saw it coming. My knee came up quickly from the floor and made solid contact with his testicles. A sound that wasn’t even close to human escaped from him and he hit the floor. I ran as fast as I could to the other side of the room. I grabbed a bottle of wine off the rack by the kitchen door and held it poised to attack if he tried to come close to me.

“Get out!” I yelled at him.

“You fucking bitch!” he growled at me. “You’ll regret this.”

“If you don’t get out of here, you’ll be the one to regret it.”

I didn’t take my eyes off of him as I pulled my phone from my pocket. I was ready to call the police when he slowly started getting up from the floor. I expected him to make a move toward me so I gripped the neck of the wine bottle tighter. Much to my surprise, he turned toward the door and opened it. Just before he walked out, he pulled a folded envelope from his back pocket and tossed it on the floor in my direction.

“There are your papers,” he said as he limped out the door holding his crotch.

As soon as I was sure he was gone, I ran to the door and locked the dead bolt. I then collapsed on the floor against it. My body shook uncontrollably with the sobs. I had never been so terrified in my entire life, and I would have never thought Kyle would be the one that scared me. I literally cried myself to sleep right there in the living room floor.
